Devin:what exactly is the deal with that?
It wasn’t every day that Lena head towards the bar, but for some reason her free Saturday night meant that she’d try to go out, socialise, and see who she could people-watch. What she previously hadn’t realised was the amount of creepy guys also at the bar. There had been a group, older than her, but no younger, glancing over at her all night. Of course, Lena’s innocent mind hadn’t come to realise that she simply looked like a singleton alone at the bar.
She was about to leave, and turned to grab her bag when she felt rough hands around her waist, dragging her in. Forcefully pushing them away, Lena angrily yelled out. “Hey, what the hell do you think you’re doing?”
Devin saw what was going on and immediately ran over and pulled the man off of her “what the hell man! Leave her alone!”

Devin watched her a small smile on his face before entering the room “can’t a guy see how his friends doing?” He replied with a shrug
“He can when his friend isn’t working,” She pointed out but smiled anyway. “I’m doing fine. Just trying to get some of these establishing shots out of the way.”
He chuckled softly “well sorry didn’t want mean to interrupt your flow. Anything I can help with?”
This was a project that Chana had been working on in her spare time for a while. She had always wanted to branch out in the industry. Not be known as just some pretty face but something more. This project was special to her. Something close to her heart. Not just because it was semi-autobiographical but because she wrote the script and was directing and producing it. She had yet to cast it but that wasn’t stopping her from at least starting to film. Adjusting the camera, she looked at the person as they entered the room. “Something I can help you with?”
Devin watched her a small smile on his face before entering the room “can’t a guy see how his friends doing?” He replied with a shrug
Just like everyone, Ronan looked forward to the weekends, even though he loved his job he started to get burned out toward the end of the week and he needed to recharge his batteries a little. He was looking forward to getting a cup of coffee and spending the day walking around town and checking out some of the shops, but his daughter seemed to have something else in mind. He was in Cuppa Joe waiting for his order and the unhappy 5 month old would not stop screaming, and nothing he did seemed to calm her down. Giving up, he turned to a nearby person and said, “I’m sorry about this, if I pay for your coffee will you grab my order when it’s done? I’m going to take her outside.”Â
“Oh it’s totally okay don’t worry s our it”. Devin said “theirs no need to pay for my order, you go take care of the cutie pie and I’ll go pick up your order no worries”. He assured him.

Devin saw what happened and immediately rushed over to the other, bending down to help her “are you alright?” He asked
“I will be once today is over” She grumbled a little before shaking her head. “I’m fine, really.” She offered a slight smile. “Thank you”Â
“Bad day?” He asked as he helped the girl “I’m glad your not hurt. Is their anything I can do?” He asked
It was days like today where River wished she had a co-owner, or at least a manager of King Candy. Not that she’d every really be able to leave anyone else in control of her shop, but an extra set of hands would be helpful when it came to inventory and making sure the orders arrived. And arrived in one piece. She’d spent most of the morning on the phone trying to track down bits and pieces of her order, only having received three out of the ten expected packages. Her mind was in a million and one places as she left Cuppa Joes, coffee in hand, and hadn’t noticed the crack in the sidewalk before stepping in it; promptly sending her stumbling over as she swore and dropped the coffee. “You’ve gotta be shitting me” She couldn’t help but let out a short laugh. “This whole day is some sort of cosmic joke I swear..” she grumbled.
Devin saw what happened and immediately rushed over to the other, bending down to help her “are you alright?” He asked
thedevinanderson‌:
“You can count on it!”
“ See you around!” And with that he left
“Bye”. He said with a wave
thedevinanderson‌:
“Yeah yeah excuses excuses”. He teased with a laugh
He laughed  “ See you around I Hope?”
“You can count on it!”

Devin looked at him crossing his arms playfully “really? Your bailing on our competition? Maybe someone’s afraid to lose”. He said teasingly
He laughed  “ I have no choice I am afraid something has come up!”
“Yeah yeah excuses excuses”. He teased with a laugh
thedevinanderson‌:
“Uh yeah sure man which ones do you need”. He asked standing by the tools.”you should tell them that than”. He suggested
He didn’t even bother to stop long enough to point the other in the right direction. “Little red box on the tool bench, bring it over here, would ya?” He hummed as he worked, finally sliding out to look up. “You good?”
Devin immediately went over and retrieved what he was asked, handing it to him “yeah im good”. He affirmed
thedevinanderson‌:
“Well okay if you say so”. He replied with a smile
He laughed  “ I know so… anyway I actually need to go just got a message from a friend, but we will do this soon okay?”

Devin gave him a soft smile “well that’s very kind of you but I would need your number to do that”. He told him. “Yeah I mean it comes with a lot of bad memories but yeah”. He replied with a shrug before asking “how do you like it here?”
Nate nodded quickly. “Oh, yeah, for sure. Here, give me your phone and I’ll put my digits in.” He offered, frowning slightly. “Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. Well a fresh start can happen at any time.” He thought about his question for a moment before answering. “It’s nice. A lot more peaceful than the city, but it’s been a big adjustment.”
“Yeah sure”. He said sliding his phone over to him. Devin shrugged “almost makes me want to leave this town to be honest”. He replied with a sigh. “Yeah I can imagine that would be quite a difference. What made you decide to move?” He asked
thedevinanderson‌:
“Mm yeah still trying to figure out if that’s a good or bad thing”. He responded with a chuckle
He smirked, “ It’s a good thing, so just trust me on that okay?”
“Well okay if you say so”. He replied with a smile
thedevinanderson‌:
“It’s honestly no problem at all. I only hope if I was in that position that someone would be kind enough to help”. He replied “oh pretty much my whole life”. He said “how about you?”
Nate offered a smile, “Well, how about this: if you’re ever stuck or in a similar situation, just call me and I’ll come help you out. Fair’s fair.” He insisted, never wanting to take advantage of someone’s kindness. “Oh, that’s awesome. I’ve only been here about six months.”
Devin gave him a soft smile “well that’s very kind of you but I would need your number to do that”. He told him. “Yeah I mean it comes with a lot of bad memories but yeah”. He replied with a shrug before asking “how do you like it here?”
“If you’re gonna hang out in the garage then you gotta at least hand me the damn tools.” He slid out from under the car with a grumpy expression. “What’s the point of havin company if you aren’t here to help?” He stood up and grabbed the wrench off of his tool box before disappearing under the car again. “I gotta stop taking cars at my own place. Makes it feel like work when I’m a at home. From now on if someone wants work done, they bring their damn car to the shop like everyone else.”
“Uh yeah sure man which ones do you need”. He asked standing by the tools.”you should tell them that than”. He suggested
