ABOUT ME
my name is adrian. i'm twenty-one and i go by they/it. my timezone is currently CST, and i am most active in the mornings to the afternoons. not usually a night owl, unfortunately.
i've recently gotten back into the doctor who fandom, and i've been fixated on it for some time now! i'm a modern who kid, but i may explore classic in the future. currently on my second rewatch!

PARTNER PREFERENCES
as a queer person who is looking to write queer characters, i would prefer to write with someone who is ALSO queer. i'd also prefer someone 20+, especially if there is a possibility of exploring more explicit themes. I WILL NOT WRITE WITH PEOPLE UNDER 18. otherwise, i don't really care. timezone/active times do not matter to me.
i'd like someone who is able to take an equally active role in building plotlines and connections. i know carrying on a plot can be hard, and i don't expect it to be equal at all times, but i think it makes it easier for both parties to share the burden. i'm guilty of backseating in the past, and i'm trying to break that habit.
i do want to prioritize ooc conversations! i definitely want to make friends here, not just people to roleplay with. i LOVE doctor who right now, and i want to talk about it with other people!! please feel welcome to yap to me, whether that be about the franchise or about other things!
lastly, please do your best to communicate! my interests change a lot, so i understand when that happens; there is absolutely no judgement. just a quick message letting me know you aren't interested anymore is okay, and i will do the same for you! thank you!
ROLEPLAY INFORMATION
i write in third person, and my tense wiggles between past and present depending on my partner! i mirror, with an average post length of about 200 words, but i can go above or below depending on the situation! i am more than happy to provide writing examples in dms :]
i would like my effort to be matched— something i'll extend the same courtesy to— but i also understand that sometimes the story calls for shorter responses, or sometimes you just don't have the energy. there's no harm in saying you want to take it lazy for a bit. i totally get it.
bots are fine. we can use bots if you want to use bots. my replies will be capitalized by default, but when it comes to standards for grammar, capitalization isn't one of those things i care about that much. feel free to get silly.
lastly, i'd like to mention that my activity varies wildly. i can go from rapid replies to not posting for weeks. i will do my best to communicate, and i understand this can be a turn-off! how quickly i respond does not typically indicate my level of interest.
PLOT
i roleplay the (saxon) master, and i would love to brush up a little bit and get more into his character! partners are more than welcome to play ANY doctor, minus thirteen, because she deserves respect that this bastard cannot give. i have a soft spot for season ten saxon, and with that, twelfth doctor, but i also adore regular old ten, or even fourteen!
alternatively, i am tentatively open to writing as the doctor, but their character is one i have less experience with. if i did, it'd likely be ten or fourteen.
i don't have a specific plot in mind, just a general hankering to explore their characters and dynamic with other people. plots don't have to be super serious or complex, and don't have to feature any specific locations. if you want to put them in the triassic we will put them in the triassic. if you want to do a chameleon arch plot, or a "prisoner" (stuck on the tardis) plot, i think that could be fun!
i definitely want to emphasize romance here, with the whole Enemies that are Also Lovers thing they've got going on. i'm open to angst and darker plots, just let me know what you're comfortable with!
i am open to more intimate scenes, but it's not something I am going to prioritize! I would prefer a partner that thinks the same. this sort of discussion can be opened at any time.
