Victoria, British Columbia-based artist duo Andreas Kunert and Naomi Zettl create gorgeous, flowing wall installations out of stone. The husband and wife, who own their own stonework design, consulting, and sculpting firm called Ancient Art of Stone, specialize in building murals, fireplaces, and other stunning mosaic patterns from a wide array of rocks and pebbles.

Yulia Brodskaya, an artist and illustrator born in Moscow, creates stunning works of art using the quilled paper technique. This art is created by rolling or bending strips of paper and gluing their side to the surface. This makes them essentially lines, but the paper’s width gives these “lines” a depth that 2d art can lack.
