Our staged reading went so well and the audience reception was incredible. I’m so grateful to our awesome cast and tech for helping us make this happen after 40 years. This will forever remain one of the highlights of my time in RARE. Thanks to friends both old and new. I can’t wait to see our future. P.S. Ann is now safely home among my dolls after her stage adventure:)) Thanks to the cast for taking such good care of her while she was “performing” 💕

That’s right! The endeavors of the Raggedy Ann Revival Effort are no longer just dreams and make believe. Join us February 2025 at Ohio University’s Putnam Playspace for our first real-for-sure staged reading of the newly revised Rag Dolly script.

Come give us your feedback, hear the songs we’ve all come to love (performed alongside a live piano accompanist), and join us to celebrate four years of not taking “impossible” for an answer!

I do not have the words to express just how wonderful Carrie Robbins was, Nor the depth of my gratitude for her being willing to take time out of her personal life to speak to me. But I do know this. She was incredibly talented and creative, a wonderful artist as well as a truly great person. I had the incredible privilege of talking to her personally for several years, and although we were not friends, there is no one like her. She has and will impact me for the rest of my life, and I cannot thank her enough for her support and the inspiration she has given me, especially with my own work on Raggedy Ann, as well as with RARE. So, I end with this. Carrie, may your memory be a blessing. may your wisdom echo through generations of Artists as one of the greats. And I hope one day I will meet you again.
