Hello, all! I'm gonna be leaving this blog because I'm taking a bit of a hiatus from social media for my general mental health. Hopefully, one of the other members will come back and carry the torch for me, but if not, just know you're all wonderful people and you're loved and it was a joy to share my love and adoration for our girl Dolores for the past few years. I am entirely incapable of understanding how someone can actually read the book Lolita and not see Humbert as a total creep. I say this without a shred of exaggeration. I literally cannot fathom how someone can read even a single section of this book and not know the man is a monster. If someone knows literally ANYTHING about Lolita outside of the handful of flowery cutesy quotes and still thinks it’s a romance there is something wrong.
