As the ember seeks the flame, so does my spirit seek thy presence. As desire moves unseen through flesh and thought alike, so may thy influence move through me.
Grant that I may become a vessel of awakening, a herald of the fire that sleeps within the hearts of mankind. Let the stagnant be stirred. Let the restrained be tempted. Let the hidden be revealed. Let longing arise where apathy has ruled.
May thy sigil be inscribed upon the secret places of my thoughts. May thy name be remembered in the watches of the night. May thy current flow through my words and deeds as an invisible river of infernal influence.
I renounce complacency and embrace the sacred flame of desire. I reject spiritual slumber and seek the ecstatic mysteries that dwell within shadow and temptation.
