Fiborn Quarry, Michigan
Memphis Cemetery Richmond, Michigan. Well known, haunted place where spirits lurk and the witches ball moves. If you don’t believe it, see it for yourself. The Motor City Ghost Hunters often stop here as well.

Morrow Road Algonac, Michigan. Legend says in the 1800′s a mother lost her child in the creek that runs horizontal under this road. It’s said that it was in the winter months and the woman froze to death as she looked for the child. There are many different versions of the story, but in this video we are visited by a ghost that is 200+ years old and many more try to communicate. Check out Katie Ritt’s on youtube for more exploration!

Whitefish Point
Paradise, Michigan. Also called the graveyard of the Great Lakes, Whitefish Point was one of the first established lighthouses on the coast of Lake Superior (1849). This is the famous port The Edmond Fitzgerald would’ve made “if they put 15 more miles behind her”. 19 men lost their lives in that wreck and their bodies were never found. Many locals say that there are spirits that linger in the light house and along the beach. The Crew Quarters Hotel (on site, near the Shipwreck Museum) is said to be very haunted, a friend of mine stayed here and had her cover pulled off of her twice within the night, while her friend was sound asleep in the bed next to.
“The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down of the big lake they call ‘gitche gumee’. Superior, they said, never gives up her dead when the gales of November come early...”

Belle Isle Zoo
Detroit, Michigan. Many people don’t know this, but Belle Isle is actually the largest park in the US. Taking up a whole island between Toronto, Ontario and Detroit, this was once a booming place for families to spend time, one of the main attractions being the zoo. The city of Detroit eventually went bankrupt due to the corruption of government, forcing Belle Isle to close it’s doors, including the zoo. For years Belle Isle was a home of heavy crime and gang activity, but in recent years the state has taken control and cleaned up the beautiful island. The zoo, amongst other abandoned buildings, still stand unoccupied and heavily vandalized.
Abandoned Child Cemetery
Near Naubinway, Michigan. None of the locals are even able to recall the family members of these tombstones that were forgotten years ago. There are two still standing, one of a 15 year old and this one, of a 2 year old. According to vacationers and locals, more stones used to stand but eventually withered away. Nobody knows how many children lie beneath this part of the forest, just a few miles away from the shores of Lake Michigan.
