Hey, I'm Ashlyn, an 18 year old trans girl into too many fandoms, I like coding and am modding for games currently, that or on VRChat. I'd love to chat with people ❤️
Adrien finds himself finally able to attend school, which makes his childhood friend, Chloe, the ever so angry girl, drag him to a club with 3 other girls
All of them are morally grey, and I LOVE that about them. People are just now finding out that cups and mugs are "villains" and that Bendy isn't a good person. It's been stated multiple times 😭 (Boris is no exception.) NO, none of them are innocent; Boris and Shelly are no exceptions, even if we haven't seen Shelly yet.
SPOILER INCOMING! IF YOU HAVEN'T CAUGHT UP WITH MYTH OF THE MACHINE, PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS.
Bendy has been described as "flakey", meaning that he's unreliable, eccentric, and unconventional. He doesn't follow through with plans or commitments and cancels them at the last minute. Just like he did with his 'friendship' with Dyle. Plus, this dude's finally got a chance to live after however long he's had the blot for. If I were him, I would do anything to get better from the Blot. You remember that deal that Cuphead made with him? The power got to his head.
"THEY listen to US! We can use them!" He's telling this to Boris in front of the brothers on Dyle's train. He thinks the cup brothers cannot hurt them, which may be true to an extent, though that loophole in the deal Cuphead found stands out more than a sore thumb.

Now, Cuphead had always been malicious since the beginning. When he was basically just introduced, Cuphead (alongside his brother), immediately went after the B-bros because they had the map, the thing they were sent to retrieve for a mysterious someone. He's not stupid, he can read people like an open book (ironic though because he's illiterate...lmao). Speaking of which, just because he cannot read does NOT mean he is stupid; he is quick-witted and smart despite being unable to read and, possibly, write. Cuphead has emotional knowledge, which was most definitely earned with experience in the past. He can see that the power that Bendy holds over him and his brother got to Bendy's head, making him cocky and self-absorbed. Bendy is practically throwing him and mugs around like Bowser in Mario64. He plans to go against him and Boris because HE BARELY KNOWS THEM. And knows how these types of deals work. He saw the loophole in the deal and 100% will use it to his and Mugman's benefit. He sees that Bendy is sloppy and that he doesn't know how these deals work. Cuphead had always been malicious since the beginning. When he was basically just introduced, Cuphead (alongside his brother), immediately went after the B-bros because they had the map, the thing they were sent to retrieve for a mysterious someone.

Mugman's character card says that he has a short fuse (shown in the more recent update when Boris uses the chains to save his life) and is emotional. He wears his heart on his sleeve. Mugman has also watched his brother die right in front of him and had a psychotic episode triggered because of that. Though that does not excuse anything he has done, it is only a reason. His actions can be justified, BUT, he still attempted to harm the b-bros (even with giving Bendy the DIP, and feeling sympathy for Boris due to his episode). Speaking of the DIP, he regrets giving Bendy the dip; he thinks he wasted it on someone he DESPISES. He only saved him because he felt bad. Mugman wants Bendy dead, unlike Boris, who had helped him out; this is NOT a liking towards him, this is simply a soft spot. Though with Bendy, there is nothing good Mugman thinks about him, I mean the dude wants to KILL him for Christ's sake!

Now, Boris. We have NOT seen him do anything bad, nor have we seen him in a bad light. He's one of the 'better' people in the group. However, when consulting my friend ( @luixd ) about this, he said that Boris is not willing to sacrifice things because of his morals. He only sacrifices them when he HAS to. Like how Cuphead was going to kill Bendy, the only person he's truly close to, and how Mugman was trying to kill him. His morals play a huge part because he places said morals in front of others. When he finds out about Dyle, he isn't going to be too happy, as both he and Bendy have been living by the rule that "Murderers do not change." Bendy killed Dyle, and Boris killed Cuphead. Even if Boris's was an accident, he still did it.
Boris holds his morals in a world without morality. Boris is described as a "protective pacifist," meaning that he has the ideology that, while being extremely opposed to war and violence, he accepts the use of force in extreme and specific situations to protect innocent life/prevent greater harm. Which has been shown before. Though this could also be a troubling feature of him in the future, as he may read something as an extreme circumstance and think it is the time to protect and use violence to protect. It is also stated that he is dismissive, much like how Cuphead is dismissive. Both seem observant, though they dismiss things. This dismissiveness could also drive him to brush off something extreme and lead to further conflict with the other members of the cast.

With how people are hating and switching up on a good bit of the main cast because of their actions and words in the newest update makes me so MAD. Like the creators have said before, they are ALL morally grey.
