I was never scared but I was apprehensive.. and I should have just told you that. I felt like I was on the other side of the world in the same room. At the time, it didn’t take rocket science to figure out you can and will replaced me. Which is fine. What’s not fine is convincing another woman she’s it, in a room that you’re still looking for me in. I’ve been the girl watching my man search for something else and it hurts.. you’re better than that, aren’t you? As much as I want to hate her, I feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for you too. If putting me down and sending me snaps of her makes you feel that good, consider that’s the reason I don’t want to commit. I don’t regret my decision J. I may one day but I’m willing to accept that. I take life day by day and this is what it is. I’m never not going to love you, but sometimes love isn’t enough. And you deserve someone who gives you the benefit of the doubt, that trusts you. I don’t and I won’t. It’s not easy to admit, but it’s honest. And I’d rather you hate me for my honesty than anything else.
