Gooey louie Ohh La la lol this is one of the many burgers to die for from the American haven Red Dog South. This branch is situated in clapham although they have another branch called Red Dog saloon. This burger comes with mozzerlla sticks, a hickory smoked brisket, grilled onions 6oz beef pattie mustard and cheese and Red Dog sauce. They have lots of tasty sides to choose from and there coleslaw is to die for. If your looking for an authentic American taste red dog is the place to go to. Just make sure you go on an empty stomach. The only sad point is that they don’t have any deserts but by the time you get through your meal you won’t have space anyway. This cool bar boast amazing views, cool cocktails, a wide variety of bar food and a swanky DJ. Radio Bar is the perfect place to take in London’s views whilst sipping on a cool cocktail in London’s warm summer sun. In the evening this bar is transformed into a lively joint where your more than able to shake a leg or two with a it’s own DJ suite.

Go along and judge it for yourself if the music food and drink doesn’t persuade you I’m sure the views will.

So I found this little beauty at work. This is the good the bad and just the plain naughty. Fresh strawberries and smooth caramel sauce what a combination 😊

This snack is by Little Devil and the pot I tried was called Curvaceous Caramel. They also do other flavour sauces such as chocolate which is a bit more traditional with strawberries but life is for living so why not get adventurous and try the caramel.

The Jungle Juice is a smoothie from Cremes. This desert bar also offers a healthy option for those who want to have a treat and not feel so guilty!

This smoothie contains the superfood acai berry (well known for it’s slimming properties and it’s high content of antioxidants and vitamins) strawberry, blueberry and mango. All of which are fresh blended fruit with no added sugar. It consists of a lovely smooth texture and is definitely one to try on a first visit.

This is the chocoholic waffle from the Italian desert bar cremes. The waffles are soft yet crispy on the outside. And the chocolate sauce compliments the white chocolate and milk chocolate shavings. The Vanilla ice cream adds the right texture to this desert to make you say oh baby! Lol 😁🙈 Cremes offer a wide selection of waffles, sundaes milkshakes and also hot drinks and smoothies (which will be in my next post) so at less than £5 go and indulge in this chocolatey treat!

This tall glass of coloured goodness is a zombie from the Chelsea tiki themed bar Kona Kai. This bar has a small selection of food which is tasty and cheap and has a great atmosphere and amazing cocktails. It's great for a week day date or weekend drinks with the girls. So this is a rocky horror sundae from harvester. Warm chocolate fudge cake with rich creamy Cornish vanilla ice cream, cream chocolate fudge pieces a glacier cherry and a wafer. If I could describe any desert as orgasmic this would be the one. When you next visit your local harvester make sure you leave room for this bad boy!! 😍😍

So these where my jam tarts I experimented with they turned out really good 😁😁 So I’m going to leave the recipe underneath.

Ingredients:

* 250g plain flour * 250g icing sugar * 125g butter (room temp is better but not vital) * 1 egg * 1 table spoon of milk * 1 pinch of salt * Extra flour for dusting. * Jams of your choice.

Equipment:

* Rolling pin, * Cookie cutters or something to make a circle shape, * Bowl, * Food mixer or really strong arms. * Tart cases

Method:

First mix the four, icing sugar and butter together until they start to look like bread crumbs.

Next add your milk egg and salt so that the mixture begins to look like a dough.(At this point if your dough is too sticky add extra flour so that it comes together)

You should be able to pick your dough up and pinch it between your fingers, you don’t want it too dry or too moist.

Next dust your counter or working surface with flour and also dust your rolling pin.

At this point you can preheat your oven to gas mark 4 or 180 degrees or 160 degrees fan assisted.

TIP: If you don’t have a rolling pin you can use a wine bottle or soda bottle

Next roll out your dough until it is about 3-4 millimetres thick. Then use your cutter to cut out the jam tart shapes. (I tried two different methods one with a circle shape then I used my fingers to make the indents then one with the crinkle cutter and I preferred the second but it is entirely your preference which you choose).

Next place your cut out shapes in the cases and if using jam fill the cases with your jam now. About a tea spoon should be enough however if you require more add as much as needed. If you plan on using lemon curd bake blind (this is empty you can use baking beads if you like) for 7 minutes then add the curd and bake for another 8 minutes.

In total your baking time is 15 minutes. After they become golden around the edges remove from the oven and place to cool. DO NOT try to eat straight away however good they may smell as the jam will be very hot. Make your self a cup of tea in the mean time and then you can indulge in the BEST jam tarts you’ve ever made 😉.
