“ man you should see my spotify, its kind of all over the place. i like a lot of different genres so it really changes day to day but when it comes to what i like to play, i’m a pop/rock act. “

“ that’s easy, playing my guitar but when im in an uninspired mood - i love to swim. you’ll probably see me more in the lake than on dry ground here. “

Keep the Flame

     Alex had spent the past few hours tending to the fire, so that it would die down to coals just as the sun set. He laid out materials to make the perfect smores… plus a few extras for experimental smores, like resee’s cups. The sex camp part was the most important thing here but sometimes it seemed like people forgot it was camping too. Alex’s favorite part of camping was stuffing his face with sticky smores. He heard rustling in the bushes, “Please don’t be bears coming to steal my smores.”

the camp was so big, exploring was inevitable. emmett had spent time around the cabins and the lake for his first two days around camp but now he just wanted to take a walk around the woods, see where it took him. it was hard for him to get out of his own head and stop overthinking so he was trying hard to distract himself. it just so happened that he stumbled across someone making smores which he honestly hadn’t had since he was a kid and went camping with his mom. “ nope - sorry to disappoint. “ emmett quipped before making his way closer to the fire. “ want some company? “

What personality traits attract you?

“ i’d have to say someone who is unapologetically themselves, can keep up with a bit of banter and have a good sense of humor obviously. people who are too full of themselves are kind of a turn off for me but healthy confidence is definitely sexy. “

The quip from Emmett has Trevor chuckling, happily nodding in appreciation, “Either works for me, but if you’re gonna give me a nickname, I’m gonna give you one too. Can’t really go with ‘fingers’ so you’re gonna have to give me a minute to come up with one-” His response was less of a verbal thing than a physical one, brows raising as he followed the path of Emmett’s hand back up the neck of his guitar. “Given that I couldn’t play a guitar if my life depended on it, I’m gonna go ahead and assume that any guy who can has that magic touch, y’know? Fuck me if I’m wrong, or whatever…-”

emmett let out another sigh as the blonde spoke about serenity and de-stressing. ironic especially since that was the reason he was even at camp riverbend to begin with. “ yeah, i’ve been told that before. “ he huffed out before trying to push the thought of his stressful outside life away just for a few moments. “ mmm.. i don’t know if i want you giving me a nickname especially since you nicknamed yourself ‘that blonde asshole.’” the curly haired man shot back with a chuckle. he strummed his guitar a few times as trevor talked about his ‘magic touch.’ “ guess i’m gonna have to fuck you because you seem to be the only one who thinks so. “ emmett jokingly replied with a smirk.
