I am happy to announce that this year's Emperor Week will be held on 15th - 21st September 2025. Thanks to everyone who participated in the poll and helped choose the date and prompts!

Here's the prompt list for the event:

All kinds of fanworks are welcome, as long as they feature the Emperor: fanfiction, fanart, virtual photography, gifs, podfic, meta, videos, cosplay photos, fiber crafts, rec lists, and more!

This is a contrapuntal poem - readable in separate sides, but also as one whole. One side is the Emperor, the other side is the Emperor's now-illithid partner. Something something their words get closer as they do, blending together as they do.

This is a vulnerable piece for me, but I'm proud of it. Maybe something in it will resonate with you, too.

Short comic I made for Emp week. Includes Emperor Baldur's gate 3 and Bern (high elf sorcerer, tav/oc), this all takes place in a dream/nightmare so dream logic applies. Hope it's any good (yipe social anxiety, also been pretty burnt out bc my summer was pretty stressfull+big life changes). Really cool event btw love it. ( @theemperorweek )

미래 Future

모험이 끝나면 바닷가에 집을 짓고 동거합니다. 같이 산다는 건 정말로 까다롭고 어려운 일이지만 그들은 서로를 믿고 살 것입니다. 여전히 미래를 함께 그려나갈 일만 남았거든요.

When the adventure is over, they build a house by the sea and move in together. Living together is really tricky and difficult, but they will live with each other in their trust. It's still all we have to do to paint the future together.

My long-suffering spouse bought this for me before the beautiful pop-smile Emperor was announced and I figured I can’t have TWO emperors, so I had better paint this one well!

I decided that the coloring on his armor needed more variation—he is devastatingly beautiful after all. I also tried to make his eyes more human or soulful, as if there’s a real person living under the monster.

I think my mini painting has really improved since I first picked up a space wolf as a joke twenty years ago. I still get pretty frustrated with blending—my smaller figures never look as nice as ones I see pictures of. I’m getting there, though.
