Difficult, lonely, and unkind as the world can be at times, he keeps faith that with determination and the will to stand up for himself, he will leave a mark on it for the better.

Elryn's chosen Sorcerer, Kor is faithful, introspective, and drawn to the peaceful groundedness he finds in isolated nature. His dreams tend to feature an inescapable forest, home to the beasts that live out the dance of hunter and prey, haunted by the role he was raised to as a soldier.

Here's an early version of our webcomic first five pages using a more traditional page layout. We'll be using a scrolling style layout for our future pages. The text bubbles have been removed to keep story spoilers to a minimum, since the story now starts at a different point. Still, please enjoy the display of a Sorcerer and his four Familiars!

A Confidant is even closer than best friend, though that is what they are often called. For a Sorcerer, they may be the only one you trust to watch your back and know your deepest secrets. They personally know the tides of a Shadow-marked heart, and help you keep your life in balance.

As a former soldier in training and a once-heir to a noble house, Kor and Iylen share an understanding of how the Discovery of the Gift can disrupt a life. Their bond is one of quiet understandings and peace, Iylen finding solace in Kor's steadfast dependability, and Kor in Iylen's deep perceptions. Though their troubles are unique, and their beliefs couldn't be further apart, empathy and loyalty keeps this duo side by side without question, no matter how strange or extreme their trials become.
