alright so, mormon!brendon going to a public university that just so happens to be a huge party school, and meeting badboy!ryan. they're in the same music appreciation class and are assigned to be partners for a project. brendon goes over to ryan's dorm room where his roommate is passed out drunk from the night before and ryan's smoking a joint when brendon walks in.

Oh my god I love this! Mormon!Brendon is so so innocent and naive. He’d probably stare at Ryan with wide eyes and look over to his roommate and then back again, already baffled and confused.
