Hello! I'm Beetle, I'm an artist/writer/roleplayer/idea goblin/etc etc. I post here for fun, I don't draw often as of current because of my art tablet shattering. I DO use ibispaintX currently for my art, or I use a mouse on PC through Clip Studio Paint. I'm that one person who absolutely adores Dunsparce! (No other Pokémon could compare to such a wonderful creature!) I draw my kins + ocs and go absolutely insane with redesigns, I get VERY bored with normal designs so I add things I like to make it appealing for me. (So apologies if you're looking at my page expecting normal art of something, I will rarely do that unless I'm doing something for commission or as a gift.) Let me share a proper animatic scripting idea:

"Hello World" - Louie Zong - Harlequin + MC focus, Fellow Performer mentions. This is *my* style of scripting, if this isn't traditional, that's fine! This is just how I do it and find it easiest! :) Kind of OOC, but that's what you get when you pick a song about an ai wanting love to do an animatic of! This will get very long, so added a cut to avoid feeds getting flooded.

Hello, world (- Start with a slow zoom in of the circus from the gate, camera stops at a full body shot of Harlequin.) Programmed to work and not to feel (- Show Harlequin heading to the gate with papers. Expression should be lacking.) Not even sure that this is real (- Harlequin's expression shifts as he enters the street, a grin on his mask.) Hello, world (- Harlequin meeting humans, passing out flyers. MC present.) (-Show Harlequin having interest in between this vocal gap. It can and should be brief. He's not one to show how he truly feels at first.) Find my voice (- Harlequin encouraging MC to follow him. To his tent.) Although it sounds like bits and bytes (- Harlequin revealing parts of himself.) My circuitry is filled with mites (- Fade the scene to a small flash of The Moonless Night. The night Columbina was eaten, for those unaware.) Hello, world (- Quickly fade back to the tent, knife being plunged into his shoulder. Make sure Pierrot's partly visible, he's the one speaking. MC should be missing/fleeing from this scene.) (- Scene shifts, Harlequin alone, dressing his wounds.) Oh, will I find a love (- Harlequin thinking absentmindedly, MC should fade in at "love".) Oh, or a power plug (- Visible discomfort should cover Harlequin's face at "Oh", growing more somber as the line continues.) Oh, digitally isolated (- Scene shift to him sitting away from the Performers (inside or outside), shoulder facing them. Self-Isolating.) Oh, creator, please don't leave me waiting (- Harlequin continuing to think about MC here. Face should shift from the troupe.) Hello, world (- Harlequin leaving the group. Leaving the Circus Grounds. How far he is, is your choice.) Programmed to work and not to feel (- Harlequin sitting in the cafe, at the counter. Staring at MC.) Not even sure that this is real (- Harlequin resting his masks cheek against his knuckles, grinning wide. Smarm. Give him Smarm. Make it look fake as you can.) Hello, world (- End with MC greeting Harlequin, genuinely smiling.) If you really wanted to, you could fade another instrumental (or use the same song's instrumental) in at the end, having them banter/flirt before ending it. Repurposing an oc...

TFC has taken over my brain, I will repurpose an older monster-looking oc (that was around since 2021) and shove him in. I'm going to try to draw a funny to introduce him here. He has been unused for years...I will grant him life again.

(VERY old art by a friend who kindly redesigned him bc he was literally just a basic ass purple; I love what they did 2 him so much btw)

Thinking about the next TFC comic...

What if, hear me out..in "Harlequin's Pet", he feels so loved and cared for by this little creature he took in and took care of.

Read below cut for my rambling theories that are most likely 500% wrong.

Then, it either dies by natural causes or from a human. An accident could also be possible. It getting sick somehow?

Ohhh my heart.. I'm scared for what's to come. But also I can see him putting on a figurative mask saying, "Ah, well I suppose that would have happened eventually~, poor thing getting far too close to me. Tsk.."

Harlequin isn't one to show how he actually feels, he'll dance around his feelings until he isolates, delving deep into a spiral of remembrance of that day. The day everything went so, so very wrong.

No, it wasn't his fault this time. Surely.

Sorry, one more animatic idea. I'm listening to music and I haven't slept well this week.

"We will stand for Everfree" MLP, EQG: Legend of Everfree!" I don't have a huge idea, but I can see flashbacks of Columbina's death, along with Jester speaking to Ticket Taker, Pierrot, Harlequin, and Doctor about their future as owning the circus; it could lead into the arrival in MC's town or show that shortly before. One line that could fit is "They have come into our domain, Here to seal our camp (circus) in chains, But we have held it for generations, This is just a complication." (Pierrot meeting MC and falling deeply in love, etc etc) Obviously, the magic in this scene wouldn't be present, but you could also interpret the plants as the Fools in the line: "Trust in me, this is for your own good, Don't be afraid, nature is our friеnd, All of this beauty that surrounds us, Every lovely bloom (human) designed to defend. (to be controlled.)" Idk. I like MLP and some of the songs just fit the performers very well (from the info we know at least). Especially the villain songs.

Another animatic idea I'd like to bring to life one day

"Open up your eyes" - MLP Movie Harlequin being Tempest Him telling his side of the story to Pierrot / MC, or even both This could also work for Jester and/or Ticket Taker (As Tempest) and MC. Or even all the Performers talking to MC. This song works for a lot of things icl.

I could make a post that lists each character's lines maybe. I like doing those, I did it with other things I was interested in; maybe I'll do it here as well since I'm getting active on here once again.
