Warren Wakeford is a physician's apprentice who has never been able to fully shake the feeling of alienation from the people around him, or the sense that something's haunting his mother from her mysterious past. Meanwhile, Princess Inge Reidarsdatter Fjell struggles with the expectations of her family, her apparent inability to use the magical powers she inherited from them, and a growing sense of resentment. One day, a chance encounter sets off a series of events that throw both of their lives into chaos together, and it'll be up to them to try to find a new way to continue on. Alternately: a fantasy comic about grief, identity, and family, for better and for worse.
