We’re playing Call of Cthulhu. It starts with us being invited to a sanitorium on an island owned by Dr. Aldous Brewer. One player decides to be his niece, Hornsby. After arriving and quickly finding a dead body, we search the sanitorium to find Dr. Brewer. Eventually Hornsby finds his office.

Keeper: You see the body of Dr. Brewer.

Hornsby (OOC): I scream.

Me (OOC): I go running toward the scream.

Keeper: Wait, let me describe the body so you can decide how much you want to scream.
