Do you remember questioning whether or not things were meant to be? I looked into your eyes and saw a lost girl who didnt want to grow up so she did what all lost girls do. You give up on the people around you who are closest to you before they hurt you first. Then you give up on yourself for without them you start to value yourself even less causing you to do some questionable things. Lastly, you’re so distraught you fall into a hole with the same people just like you - unable to get escape. You begin to let down the people you once cared for, followed by letting yourself down just to please your new shadows. I took your hand as a sign that if anything were to happen to us, we would use each other to pull ourselves out from the well. It didnt matter what yesterday brought or what tomorrow would bring. All that mattered was you right by my side. These days I look to my side where you once sat but all I see is a shadow of someone I no longer recognize. Wherever you are I hope that one day I will find you and when I do I’ll look into your eyes as I once did many nights ago and just like before, I’ll take your hand for you are no longer a lost girl.

You can find me sitting underneathe the bridge that splits the bustling city & the quite suburban town. Every night I come here to look at the lights that shine the black sky for there is no moon. The moon has chosen a different side as have I. I here stories about you and thats all they are because it brings me to my knees to try and accept that fact that they are indeed true. You think you know someone until they leave you wondering why you weren’t good enough. Then I think maybe it was you, could you have just been so clueless to the world around you that you casted away to try and enthuse the wrong people with your erotic fixation. Oh, you think it’s cute now but your lust will take you down a sad and lonely path - one that I cannot follow. So I leave my home to sit under the bridge that seperates my reality from a world I’ve yet to visit hoping that in this big city is someone like you, minus the you I’ve come to grow disgust for.
