Did everyone miss this major point in last nights episode of the flash!?

So last nights episode, paved the way for Jesse Quick to come into the series later on after she was injected with V-9. The team also discovered the true identity of Zoom and Barry did the iconic Sheldon Cooper as the Flash Scream ... But did we miss something bigger? Some other speedster that appeared in the show? Jesses Meta Human Detector kept going off around Barry, in the club and then when Wally came in, it also went off, causing her to believe it was malfunctioning (being annoying) and leading her to discover the truth about her father .. Has Wally already got his speed? I guess we have all assumed he doesnt have it yet, but this would indicate that he does ... or at the very least, he has some META Human capabilities.

DC Comics heroes are spread out across all manner of live-action media; Warner Bros. is gearing up to officially kick off their DC Extended Universe with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice while Fox recently granted a third season to its DC based series, Gotham. On The CW, Greg Berlanti’s shared universe expanded earlier this year to include Legends of Tomorrow, a spinoff from Arrow and The Flash. Plus, in a recent episode of The Flash, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) glimpsed other universes within the world’s multiverse – including, Kara Danvers’ (Melissa Benoist) National City from CBS’s Supergirl.

The Flash is set to appear on an upcoming episode of Supergirl later this month and CBS has kicked promotion of the cross-network crossover event into full gear, releasing the first teaser and official images as well as a poster for the episode, titled ‘Worlds Finest’. Now another new teaser for the Supergirl and The Flash crossover episode has been released. CBS released the teaser on Twitter (check it out below) of Supergirl and The Flash getting ready for a race between the two DC Comics heroes – though the actual race itself isn’t shown. The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg previously teased this footrace between Kara and Barry, stating that it’s one of his “favorite moments in the episode.”

Although The Flash confirmed that Supergirl exists in a different universe set within the multiverse of The CW and CBS’s DC Comics series, the official synopsis for the episode revealed Barry would be helping Kara take on two National City villains/ex-Cat Grant employees: Livewire (Brit Morgan) and Silver Banshee (Italia Ricci). Additionally, details revealed by the cast and crew also hinted at the quick friendship between Barry and Kara, as well as Jimmy Olsen’s (Mehcad Brooks) reaction. Although the new teaser released by CBS will certainly pique the interest of casual fans of Supergirl and The Flash, it seems particularly geared at those already wholly invested in these series, and indicative of what viewers can expect from ‘Worlds Finest’. Which is to say, the crossover episode may not be the most well-written or emotionally driven of Supergirl’s first season, but it will provide plenty of entertainment and special moments to those viewers who are simply looking forward to seeing these two incarnations of the famous DC heroes played by Benoist and Gustin on screen together.

Of course, both Supergirl and The Flash have shown strength as individual television series in balancing a lighter tone of superheroes enjoying their powers with grounded and emotional storytelling. So, there’s no reason to believe ‘Worlds Finest’ will wholly drop the ball in order to ham-fist Supergirl and The Flash into a story together. Still, The CW’s annual crossover event between Arrow and The Flash has largely relied on the novelty of its two titular stars coming together to face a shared, one-off villain to sustain the episodes. Whether or not the Supergirl and The Flash crossover episode is successful it terms of its storytelling, though, remains to be seen. At the very least, the unique event of seeing the heroes share a screen will likely excite and entertain many fans. Supergirl airs Mondays @8pm on CBS. The Flash returns with ‘Trajectory’ on March 22 @8pm on The CW. Arrow returns with ‘Broken Hearts’ on March 23 @8pm on The CW. Legends of Tomorrow will return with ‘Left Behind’ on March 31, 2016 at 8pm on The CW. Source: CBS

Today we got a look at the first promo for the Flash/Supergirl crossover on March 28th. There’s not much to see here, but it’s a quick glimpse to build anticipation for the episode, which is now only eleven days away.
