Pfft, I doubt it. If anyone can act again for the first time in a while without skipping a beat, it’s you. And I know you’ll get to be that person for her too. Once she realizes you’re sticking around, she’ll get comfortable with you too. Yes, perfect idea. Good thing Toby would just disappear all the time randomly.

It really does. There’s nothing I love more than being on a Broadway stage, and doing it for my first starring role? Nothing better than that. Right? We get paid to do our favorite things in the world. It’s absolutely crazy! 

It’s definitely an amazing feeling. I bet you’re loving every second of it. Did live shows start yet? I love going to see Broadway shows so maybe I can make it to yours if I have the time!

I have to admit when I was still working on Grey’s Anatomy, I did that quite a lot.  As they finished their sixteenth season and their second without me I wonder why I ever had to plans things out to the precise second or minute.  It did not do me or anyone else any good.  You have a good reason to do more of that now though, Grant.  

That is true. Things can change at an instant and it’s not even in your control most of the time so it’s really better to just go with the flow since that’s how life is. Gotta take the good and the bad, right?

Yeah, the movies usually show us getting lovely snow at Christmastime, but I don’t think it’s ever snowed on Christmas in London, in my lifetime. We get snow sometimes, but it’ll be, like 5 inches that lasts two days and then rain washes it away. It’s terribly depressing. 

Isn’t it funny when movies always stereotype certain towns in a wrong way? I love it. That is depressing though. There’s a lot of rain in Vancouver too actually but thankfully we’ve been getting a decent amount of snow in the winter the past few years so that kind of makes up for it.

No, I think I want it to just be us. I’d feel silly making people watch only one episode of me and I’d rather get excited with you. I hope Ali likes it, she seems hard to please and I’m still not entirely sure where I rest in her book. Yeah, I think so. Maybe not the parts where I’m climbing Keegan’s body like a jungle gym, but the cute friendship scenes or the ones where Spencer is a bad-ass and saves the day.

That’s fine with me. Though it’s not silly at all. I can’t wait! Tomorrow is the big night. I think it’s just because she’s a mini Danielle but I can see her slowly warming up to you. It will be interesting to see her reaction to you on TV though. Thank you for that visual that I definitely did not need. But I like that idea.

Sounds good to me. If you wanted to invite others to come over and watch, I’m down for that too. But I’m also cool with it being a party for two. Or four or five if we include the kids. I think Matty will just smile and point at the TV like he does when he watches The Flash and Ali will be more talkative when she sees you. Yeah, being a superhero does have its perks! Do you plan on having Aurora watch Pretty Little Liars in full one day? That will be interesting.

Uh oh. Well that’s not good, but at least it won’t be a good wedding experience and you can save that for real life. Don’t worry, I don’t considering hamburger a snack food anyway. But I’ll have to think of some good ones for this special experience. Should we let Ali and Matty watch? I wonder how they’d react to seeing you on TV.

You know how there’s terms like puck bunny for women who are interested in hockey players, and jersey chasers for football and apparently..lacrossestitues for lacrosse players? I need there to be a name for women who hang outside Broadway’s doors and try to hit on all the dashing musical theater men. I want to make them shirts and buttons and give them soup and hot cocoa. I’ve never heard the ones for football and lacrosse so you taught me something today. I’m not clever enough to think of one for the theater men but I totally agree there should be one for them. Especially since I was one back in the day.

Duh. Seeing your face on TV again is something that needs to be celebrated. We’re going to have all the snacks. Whatever you want. Even if they’re vegan. But I’m obviously going to have some that aren’t.

Yes, exactly. That’s what I try to do. Though with Danielle, she always had me trying to plan things in advance and I tried to compromise with her but I’m more if a do things in the moment go with the flow kind of person. At least I can do more of that now.

I haven’t seen that show, but damn, it really must be a tear jerker. A few tears might be shed for my show, because it’s got some really powerful moments in it, but it’s mainly lighthearted and funny. Oof, I bet. The weather isn’t too great in London, either. Except we don’t even get the fun of snow, just cold and windy rain.

Yeah, it is for sure! That sounds like the perfect mix, I swear I’ll get to it eventually. Is London where you live for most of the year? It’s a shame you don’t get any snow at all.
