I love every single person who reblogged this
I donβt think people realize how much of an impact this kind of support can have, I donβt think everyone knows what these little things can mean to us.
It may just be me, I donβt know. But every single time I see this on my dash or on someoneβs blog or anywhere else, I kind of just breathe a sigh of relief. Thatβs one more person who cares. Thatβs one more person who doesnβt hate me.
Because it means so much, especially when all the media is spewing out is that Iβm a terrible person and no one wants people like me near them. It means so much because Iβm tired of people who wonβt sit next to me in class, or who choose to join the longer line at the grocery store because they donβt want to be beside me and my family. It means so much when I have to lift my head any time someone says the words Islam or Muslim because Iβm scared that theyβll say something thatβll hurt, when I have to pay attention to the news because who knows what so and so is saying now, who knows which of my people are being attacked now, who knows whatβs going to happen to me now.
It means so much because Iβve been given the idea that the world is against me. And a huge part of it may be, but at least Iβve been reminded that some of it, just a small group of people, acknowledges that Iβm a person too. That people like me are just that, people.
Maybe itβs just me, I donβt know. But now you do, so thank you for believing that Iβm human when so many people donβt.
Have a great day x
Go unfollow this blog all you want, I am reblogging this.Β
I am aware this does not follow this blogβs style, however, I find it necessary to reblog this

Denzel spitting facts about the media!
The Popeβs comments do not change church doctrine; they merely reinforce abortion stigma, sexism, and theΒ myth of abortion regretΒ under the guise of compassion. Letβs be clear: Thereβs nothing compassionate about singling out people who have abortions and branding them as murderers. Nor is there anything compassionate about requiring women to grovel at the feet of priests. But more to the point, abortion does not necessitate absolution. It is not wrong or inherently evil; it is health care, plain and simple.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie reads from one of her novels during the Washington Ideas Forum at the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, DC
persistent bernie/stein supporters ignoring the concerns that we raise about a probable trump presidency if we donβt unite to vote for hillary i think is a symptom of the underlying motivation behind a lot of social justice and activist activity on the internet
itβs not about change, itβs not about improving the lives of other people, itβs about adopting the most visibly progressive platform to place yourself as morally and ethically superior to your peers
i saw a post that was like, people who are able to throw their vote away on a third party or write-in, or abstain from voting at all, have a specific privilege that allows them to be uninvested in the real dangers that a trump presidency imposes on peopleβs lives. so they get to make Symbolic votes because the outcome doesnβt truly effect them.Β
