I'm Going...Digital? [Ca Event]

“Your friends can’t save you now, Mimi. They’re not here.”

“TK’s here! He’ll come to help!”

“And where is he, hm?” The shadow sneered at her. “Where is this boy? I don’t see him. He’s probably in another sector, far away from here. There’s no way he can help you.”

“H-he can! You’ll see!” Her voice wavered as she looked around, her face reflecting her desperation as she saw no one in sight. “He’ll be here…”

TK was running towards his friend while dodging the oncoming shadow people. How far was she from him? The scream didn't seem that far, but all this running made him think otherwise.

Patamon was lucky. He could fly, but the boy could tell he was getting from all the flapping of his wing-like ears. They needed to rest, but they also needed to help Mimi.

"If only Patamon could Digivolve right now." He said, looking at his Digivice and pushing buttons on it. That usually works, right? He laughed to himself for a bit before turning a corner and seeing two Mimis. "Mimi!" He said, a smile on his face.

Battle with the shadows? [CA Event/TK&Anna]

┌She wasn’t the only child that seemed to be suffering from the shadows breaking them down, making them want to cry. As mean as it may have seen, the girl found it a little reassuring. He seemed close to her age too… Eyes fell on the duplicate, before turning to the strange creature that was being surrounded with a light.

Gently the child picked up the egg. Fingers running over the surface lightly. Holding it carefully against her body the child moved so she was in front of the boy. She held it out toward him gripping it tightly in both hands.┘

“It’s your’s, right?”

┌She looked from the egg to the crying boy and back again. She wasn’t sure just what type of egg it was, or what the creature she had seen only seconds ago had been either, but if it was an egg, that meant that it would be reborn, not that it had disappeared for good, right?

Anna continued to watch the egg. Head tilting to one side and the other. The grey hues of both it and the boy before her did nothing to calm the girl’s own mind. Instead, the albino just let out a small sigh, a neutral expression forced on her own face.┘

“Take care of it. It’ll come back.”

┌She hoped that she was right with her assumption. Lips twisting into a slight frown as she pulled out a red handkerchief and held it out for the boy to wipe his face with. Setting the egg down directly next to him she stood to survey the duplicate once again.┘

The blond had his eyes closed and here a voice. His first reaction was to open his eyes and see if it was his friend, but he remembered that Patamon became the egg.

Just to make sure, he opened his eyes, more tears running down his face. His vision blurry but he could tell someone was over him, a female it seemed. He smiled a bit and nodded at the question. "Y-Yeah. I-It's mine." He said through sobs.

He could tell the other wasn't going to hurt him, but he wondered what his shadow-like self was doing. Before he could turn to look, the girl gave him a handkerchief and the Digiegg. He smiled, thanked the girl, and held onto the egg, wiping his face with the cloth. 

He saw the girl stand up, and he felt a little better. He remembered the time when Patamon came back. He was so happy. TK thought of that memory, his happiness, for some time. Each time making him feel better.

"What?!" The shadow said. "What's happening to him? What did you do to him?" It said to the littler girl. "Why isn't he feeling lost anymore?"

Battle with the shadows? [CA Open]

TK, hiding in a small alleyway, looked over a dumpster to see a large amount of shadow-like figures walking around the city. "Patamon, do you think this is a Digimon's work?" He asked, looking over to the Digital Monster he grew attached to over the years.

"No," The creature replied, flying over to the boy. "This isn't a Digimon. It's something different. Something different." Patamon finished saying.

The boy looked back at the crowd of people walking the streets. The whole thing made him think of his past experience with dark beings -Myotismon attacking the city, Puppetmon and the other Dark Masters, and even The Digimon Emperor- and what he was doing when facing them. He was scared as fuck. Always crying and wanted his older brother Matt and the others to protect him. With Patmon powerless, he was beginning to feel like that again. He could feel the water filling his eyes.

"Ah, poor little TK." His voice said from behind him. "Always scared and being the cry baby." The voice continued. TK turned around and saw himself.

"Wha--?" He said, a little shocked. There was a shadow him? Just great.

"That's right, TK. I'm you. Just not you." It said with a smirk. The shadow him held out a hand towards Patamon. "Remember that time Patamon died? You were so destroyed. You still feel like you'll lose him. Even here." It laughed, taunting him with memories.

TK's eyes began to water some more. He tried his hardest to hold in the tears, but the memories and feelings were too overwhelming. "L-Leave Patamon alone." He said, curling himself into a ball. Patamon, landing in front of TK to protect him.

"Boom Bubble!" The monster attacked -with nothing happening. "That wasn't suppose to happen." Patamon said, looking back at TK. "TK. It's not real. You're strong. You were always there for everyone. You helped people. You helped Gabomon become MetalGarurumon." Patamon said with some pride. "Snap out of it TK."

It was a little too late. TK was curled in a ball, crying, traumatized. "Patamon's gone." He whispered to himself over and over again.

TK's shadow just kept on laughing. TK looked up, and saw the shadow do something to Patamon. A little bright light happened and a Digiegg appeared where Patamon was. TK cried more, hiding his face.

I'm Going...Digital? [Ca Event]

“Palmon? Why did it suddenly get dark?” Mimi asked, her tone fearful as the lights began to go off, flickering repeatedly as various people scrambled by them to get to safety. All around them chaos was emerging which filled Mimi with dread. The atmosphere soon became cold, reminding her of the time Myotismon took over Odaiba, kidnapping children and their families in order to search for the eighth child. “Do you think…it’s a digimon?”

“No, Mimi. It’s not a digimon,” Palmon replied, keeping close to Mimi as shadows began to erupt around them. “Even though I can’t fight, I won’t let them hurt you, Mimi!”

“We should get out of here, Palmon, and fast!” She quickly grabbed onto her partner’s hand, making a run for it when she came face to face with a shadow of…herself?

“Running away again, are we, Mimi?” she said, giving Mimi a rather wicked smirk. “You can’t run away, Mimi. Yet you can’t fight us, either. If you try, we’ll just take away your friends. After all, that’s what happened last time you fought.”

“Leave me alone,” Mimi spoke, voice trembling in fear as the memories came back to haunt her. Ever since the digidestined fought Devimon, more and more of the friends dropped like flies.

“You know it’s true, Mimi. You can’t run, and you can’t fight. You can’t even protect your friends. Remember Wizardmon? Leomon? Piximon? Chumon? Whamon? Remember all the friends you made, dying right before you because you were foolish enough to fight? Nothing good comes from fighting, Mimi. You know this.”

“Stop it! Stop it right now!”

“I wonder who will go first this time? TK? Patamon? K? Or maybe little Palmon here.”

“YOU LEAVE PALMON ALONE!” she screamed, Palmon looking on in alarm as Mimi began to panic.

“Don’t listen to her, Mimi! She’s lying! Their deaths weren’t your fault! She’s not real!”

“Oh, but I am real, and it’s time you came face to face with the truth. It’s all your fault, Mimi. All your fault.”

"Come on Patamon, this way!" TK said softly, jumping into an alleyway to hide from the shadow people.

He looked around, ducking behind a dumpster, Patamon landing on his head. "This is really strange. It reminds me of the time Myotismon attacked the city, but something is different." He looked up at his friend. They needed help, but who was going to help them?

TK waited silently for a bit, then heard someone yelling in the distant. "That sounded like Mimi, TK." Patamon said, flying towards the voice.

The boy got off and followed his friend. "Hang on Mimi!"

“That’s true! If we had to deal with Myotismon again, I dunno what I’d do!” Especially since it seemed their digivices didn’t work in this place. All they could do was act as a watch. Nothing more. Also, didn’t Palmon say she couldn’t use her powers?

“Yeah. Plus we can’t digivolve or use any of our abilities. It’s like the time when the Digimon Emperor used those control spires. Remember, Patamon?”

While the digimon had their own conversation, Mimi continued with her own. “It is rather confusing, but at least I’m not the only one who’s lost!” That was always something. Her cheerful demeanor, however, dimmed when she heard why Matt came to America. “He did it to visit me? But why? We were never really close, and I thought he had a thing for Sora?” Or was it Sora who had a thing for him? Either way, it made no sense to her.

Luckily, at Patamon’s suggestion, Mimi pushed those thoughts away. “Oooh! Yes! Plus it could be fun and we may find some of the others!”

"Wait, we can't use our powers?" Patamon questioned. He thought about the time he couldn't Digivolve into Angemon. Luckily for him, and the other Digimon, ArmorDigivolution became a thing. But, can they did that here?

TK, listening to the Digimon talking also remembered the time Ken used the Control Spires to control the Digimon. It was quite horrible.

Hearing Mimi talk, TK turned his attention to his friend. "That's the reason. We haven't really been together since our last anniversary when we went to the TV station and saw Wizardmon." He replied in a sad-like tone. It was sad that Gatomon had to see her friend like that. "And I think they both had a thing for each other. I'm not quite sure. I was like eight, remember." He finished talking and laughed.

With Patamon's suggestion, TK agreed to the idea. He could write about his experience in this world, and draw little maps of the city so he wouldn't get lost. "That sounds like a really good idea, Patamon! It could help us find the others!"

“Oh no! I’m really really sorry about that, and I guess I know what you might be going through—and I really hope that you get back to your friends. They’re probably so worried about you.” Jacuzzi ramble on for a moment, feeling the tears build up again.

But it stop just as a mention of a friend along with him. That was a bit of a relief. “R-Really!?” He nearly exclaimed as a small creature seem to have come out over the boy’s head. Jacuzzi couldn’t help himself but flinch back at the sudden surprise. he wasn’t expecting this at all. “Geh—! I-It talks?” He stared at the creature for a moment, amaze and bewildered of its appearance. “Oh! U-Uhh…n-nice to meet you too, Patamon… uhh… I-I’m sorry but…what are you?”

TK smiled and said the same thing to the other. "I hope you get back your friends as well." He said, giving a comfort smile.

TK could tell the other was a little spooked by Patamon. In fact, mostly everyone that found out was. Of course, not his friends or family or people in his world. Everyone knew about the Digimon.

"I'm a Digimon." Patamon said. "It's short for Digital Monster." The creature smiled, again.

Jacuzzi look down at the other’s hand out. A hand shake? Well…t hat was really nice of this guy to do so, letting a small smile come over his lips as he shook hands with the other. “I-It’s really nice to meet you, TK. But… d-do you mean you were taken from your friends too? W-Was that what you mean by ‘you too’? I mean, if not, I’m really sorry for thinking that, and I’m sure this place isn’t so bad.”

He quickly sputter bringing a hand up front. “I-I’m sure though your friends are alright…w-where ever they are…”

"Yeah." TK said sadly. "II was taken from them." 

"Wait!" He said, a little brightly. "My best friend came with me, though." He said, looking at the creature on his head. "Jacuzzi, this is Patamon."

"Hi Jacuzzi!" Patamon said, waving it's ears up and down.

Welcome to the City! || TK&Mimi

“So those scientists must have dragged you here like they did with us,” Mimi said, a frown crossing her lips. While she was happy that he was here, she didn’t like the thought of her friends being in this social experiment. What if they got hurt, or worse? She wouldn’t be able to stand it if anything happened to them, especially after the adventures all of them had in the Digital world.

“Oh? He was? I never knew that.” If she had known, she would have been the first one in line! From what Sora told her, he was quite the talented musician, and his looks weren’t half bad either.

“This place is called Hive City, our new home until the scientists running it grow bored with us. It’s more confusing than Odaiba and New York put together!”

He nodded. He had no idea what the scientists were going to do. It didn't sound good. What if it changed the Time Space thing? Will their friends notice they're missing?

He sighed a bit. This was going to be a fun adventure. "At least we don't have those evil Digimon we have to worry about." He said, trying to make the atmosphere around them lighter and he laughed. Just for a short time.

"Yeah. They just started, actually." He said, Patamon landing on his head. "He did it to go visit you in New York, Mimi, actually.

He looked around the area again. "Hive City? Sounds like something from a horror movie." He looked back at the older girl. "It looks confusing."

"Hey!" Patamon said. "Let's explore the city together." The Digimon said. "It could be like old times again. All of us exploring the new area together, fighting whatever cam in our way. Saving the worlds."

“What—oh y-yeah I’m alright…I’m sorry.” Jacuzzi sniff again, wiping his tears away. The last he wanted to do was cry in front of a potential friend here. “I’m sorry… I-I guess I just don’t know how I got here, and it got me worried about how everyone else is, s-since I’m not there with them, i just… thought they were in big trouble.”

He sniff again, feeling a little better to see someone who look to be friendly. “Umm— I’m sorry… m-my name’s Jacuzzi Splot. Uhh… what about you?”

The boy smiled. He was used to seeing people cry -him being a crier himself when he was younger. "You too, huh?" He asked, a little concered about his own friends. These scientist must be taking random people from all these random worlds. He thought.

He smiled again, and held out his hand. "It's nice to meet you, Jacuzzi Splot. I'm Takeru Takaishi, but you can call me TK, if you want."

New City... Help? (Intro)

The last thing Jacuzzi Splot could have ever thought was to wake up in an unknown area such as a new city. He never drank… so how on earth did he possibly end up here!? Perhaps trying to recall anything that had happen the previous night would help.

…. 

Nothing! He went to bed and rested well! Unless….

“Oh no, what if I made an enemy and they decided to knock me out to lose my memory and send me here!? Where ever… ‘here’ is. Oh no, Nice and the other’s will be so worried that I’m not there. Oh no, what if someone goes after them next! Then I won’t be there to help them. Oh no no no no…” As the worst possible thing could happen to his friends, Jacuzzi couldn’t help but begin to cry.

He was always like this. He would always cry for every little thing. But he had his own reason why he would cry, and that is not needed to be mention now.

Jacuzzi thought to himself of what he could do, to be a little bit optimistic about this gloomy situation. “O-Oh! I know…” He sniff to himself, as he use his shirt sleeve to wipe away his tears. “I-I can…uhh, look for a phone to use. Y-Yea! That’s it. I think I know the house number. Uhh…. I’m sure I can find one of those somewhere… o-or maybe I can ask someone if they can let me into their home so I can use it. Yea…. I-I think I’ll just do that.” Jacuzzi was able to cheer himself up for the moment, still feeling the wryness of a new city he manage to land himself in, oblivious though, to his surrounds as he usually tends to be.

TK was sitting on the curb, thinking to himself and looking at his DigiVice. Something was a little different about this city, because hi DigiVice wasn't letting Patamon Digivolve.

He got up, and heard someone crying. He blinked, and looked over to see someone crying. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked, walking up to the other.

“TK! I can’t believe it’s you!” Mimi cried, going over and tacking the boy in a hug. “Thank god we found someone we know! I’ve been wandering around all day and it’s horrible!”

“I think you’re choking him, Mimi,” Palmon said as she noticed her friend’s grip on TK tightening. “It’s good to see you two again. How’d you get here?” she asked, looking to Patamon as Mimi let go of TK.

“Sorry about that. I just got excited again.”

“It is really good to see you two again. Have you seen Matt, Tai or any of the others?”

"No idea. We just woke up in the room." Patamon replied before helping Mimi up. 

TK dusted himself off and smiled at the girl. It's been a long time since he's seen her. Their adventures in the Digital World was something he'd remember for his whole life.

"Last I heard from Matt was that his band were touring in America." He said, a little sadden in his voice. "As for the others, I haven't seen them."

The blond looked around the city. "Hey Mimi, what is this place? It doesn't look like Odiaba." He looked back at the girl. "Or New York, for the matter."

Mimi, who was still stuck in sector three, roamed around aimlessly. “This sucks!” she whined. “I don’t wanna walk anymore! Palmon, are we there yeeeeet?” Why couldn’t they get a taxi or take the subway or something? Oh wait: they were flat out broke.

“Not yet, but soon! Hang in there, Mimi!” she said, trying to comfort her partner and they ended up near a busy intersection. “Think of it like you’re back in the digital world!” This only earned a groan from Mimi.

“This is worse than the digital world! I hate this place!” Mimi kicked a nearby rock out of frustration, the object soaring into the air and nearly hitting a boy with an odd, yet familiar creature atop his head.

Wait…an odd, familiar creature. “…Patamon?” Mimi looked closer, noticing that it was, indeed Patamon, so the boy whose head he was riding atop of had to be…”TK!”

TK was looking around the intersection, trying to figure out which way was which, when he heard something hit the ground next to them. Jumping a bit, Patamon looked in the direction the rock flying. "TK! I think I see Mimi and Palmon!" The Digimon said and began flying towards them.

"Patamon! Wait!" The boy said, chasing after his friend and stopped in his tracks when noticing the familiar pink haired female. "Mimi!" He said, happily, running towards them. He was glad someone was here he knew.

Welcome to the City! || Intro

Takeru opened his eyes, his vision blurry from the bright white light hitting his eyes. "Uh.. Where am I?" He said softly, rubbing his eyes a bit before getting up. His vision became clearer.

He looked around the unfimiliar room. He blinked a few times, before noticing the familiar orange-brown and cream-colored creature laying on a table across the room. "Patamon!" The blond said, rushing towards his friend. "Patamon, wake up."

The creature came to life, just in time when the small television screen flicked to life, showing a light hazel eye:

“Ah, is this on?” The eye shrinks as the young man to which it belongs backs up, his whole face now visible. “Hello! You’re probably wondering what’s going on, so allow me to fill you in!” A wide smile spreads across his spectacled face, and his voice drips with pep. “My name is Rima Hoervich, and I, along with my coworkers, are conducting a little social experiment! And you’re a part of it! Exciting, right?"

Exciting? TK thought to himself. The boy was going to say something, but the person continued talking about some kind of machine being able to take people out of their worlds and into this simulated world and experiments. 

"...The door to the city is right behind you, and there should be a board outside with your housing information on it. We’re expecting great results, so I hope you’ll be kind enough to cooperate with us. Goodbye!”

The screen flicked off and both Takeru and Patamon looked at each other. "Better get going, right?" The boy asked the Digimon. 

They both left the room, and TK grabbed the paper and read it. "I'm staying in Apartment H-3. Lets go look for it." The male said and began looking around the area, trying to find the apartment building.
