Seventh had let her pets wander too far again. So there he stood, shaking, among the smoking wreckage of three probe droids. Slowly, he turned to face Fourth as she spoke. “The broken pieces of some of dear sister’s pets.” He wasn’t supposed to destroy them but they were making probe droid noises in his hearing range, so the terror sent him into fight mode.

He stared at Fourth, hoping she’d accept that answer but something told him that there was more to her question.

     the fourth sister laughs && SMILES, but there’s no humour behind it.  there’s no light of mirth in her eyes, only a cold, calculating angle at which she can dissect && USE THE OTHER’S WORDS AGAINST HIM.

     “ just a broken pet, now? ”  inquisitive words from the inquisitor.  but she’s not ready to push her angle yet.  the fourth sister laughs more--again, with NO HUMOUR--&& she wraps an arm around the eleventh brother, digging her nails into his shoulder in an unfriendly manner.
