It was not that Taehyung was a person that was generally uninterested in things or bored with life or something like that. It was quite the opposite but sometimes he looked as if he had something heavy on his mind, something that would bother his soul.
And frankly, today was such a day, with an important question on his heart: What kind of snack would he eat next, now that the classes were over? He wasn’t sure if he had Bertie Bott’s Beans left (frankly, he was sick of them anyway). But he did know he still had a few chocolate frogs, yet those things were too creepy for his taste, nuh-uh, that stuff was really creepy. He has always refused to eat those things and he would rather give them to some kids instead of eating them. Though, he did crave some chocolate…
Also, it was not that Taehyung was a person who hated things with a passion or disliked someone or something in a harsh kind of way. Of course he had some things he was uncomfortable with (e.g. chocolate frogs), yet he never really hated things.
One thing he was truly uncomfortable with, though, was when people just randomly show up and touch him without a warning. He did it himself all the time but others had to refrain themselves.
So when the professor suddenly appeared next to him, all he could do was flinch and almost scream like a little girl but the scream soon died down when the professor talked in a low voice, in an almost mysterious way.
Taehyung gave him a slight look of horror at first, then one of confusement.
“Depends on what kind of assistance we’re talking about here, Prof.” Taehyung replied in a just as low voice, giving the other male a meaningful look. “If we are talking about assistance with school stuff here then you can be damn sure I’ll be gone in the next second.”
He looked around to make sure no one was looking at them weirdly.
“Except if you want help on correcting that History Of Magic test you wrote two days ago in that other class, I got a friend who could need some loose grading.”
Taehyung couldn’t help but let a grin stretch upon his lips.
The Gryffindor’s initial expression caused Rei to move back a little, loosen his grip but the boy didn’t run off or scream. All that issued forth was a squeak, like that of a tiny lion. When the student replied Rei could only look at him in amazement. The Gryffindor’s voice was so deep it took Rei totally off guard enough that he had missed the last bit of what he had said, but not the mischievous grin on the student’s face. Maybe it was a joke Rei thought as he quickly laughed to cover up his surprise.
It wasn’t anything to be jealous of, but Rei was definitely jealous. The kid had the kind of voice that sounded like heaven when whispered into one’s ears. Rei’s initial assessment of the Gryffindors character changed instantly. Rei could respect the kids’ skills. He would definitely be keeping his eye on...what was this kids name anyways? Rei shook his head vigorously, he was getting off topic. Without another word, Rei led the student into his classroom. Once in the recesses of the old room, Rei strode over to his desk and snatched up what looked to be a gift bag in the shape of a fox’s head. Rei didn’t have anything else and besides, he was the fox! What’s the use of being an animagus if you can’t show it off?
Rei swung around and returned to stand in front of the Gryffindor, the bag extended to the student gingerly, like something precious lay inside. “I need you to deliver this to Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor Walker pronto. Go as quickly, but inconspicuously as you can. If you get stopped by any other professor and they ask what’s in the bag, lie! LIE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!” Rei said, eyes widening comically. “Also if you do get caught...this never happened and you have no idea what it is and you simply picked it up...okay?” Maybe that was a bit much? Rei thought to himself, but shrugged it off. Everyone knew he was a bit off his rocker.
