I mostly post my artwork on this tumblr. I have other sites for sharing other people's work. Here I post things that are experimental in nature to things that are fully resolved- Painting, Digital Sketches, Drawings, Glitch Art, etc/

#Respect Artists

I just went through my followers and deleted about 80 suspicious blogs ( i suggest that every artist do the same) - blogs that had no avatar, blogs that were named with some weird random number letter sequence, and a few blogs that have been following me for awhile that have not interacted with my work. I woke up to more blogs adding links to my work and @staff is too busy working on new tumblr dog stickers to do anything about it. I do not want someone’s first interaction with my work to be images of my work with spammy links all underneath. Again, People should not have to the option to add links or strip the original posters credits. It seems like common damn sense to me. I really appreciate all the support that I receive on tumblr from the real artist who want tumblr to make changes and are willing to take a stand by contacting @staff about this serious problem.

Stay Strong and Be Vocal. You can’t be a great artist and be a pacifist anymore. Let @staff know creators are  unhappy and that there are other options beside this site. Please Tag #RespectArtists

DON’T SIMPLY LIKE THIS. REBLOG and ADD @staff DO. YOUR.PART If you are an artist or an art aesthetic blog and you feel you can’t reblog then simply UNFOLLOW. While I’m cleaning house, all Trump-ets can get the hell out of here too. #artistsontumblr #respectartists

Tumblr Staff needs to address Spammers for Creators

If #tumblr #staff can stop people from sending you links in questions then #tumblrstaff can stop people and bots from adding links to your creative content. It pisses me off when someone adds a porn link or any link for that matter in a effort to detract from your work.There is never a good reason to add a link on someone’s work. This issue needs to be resolved quickly. Stop making new freaking stickers and work on the issues that people want resolved. People do not have time to file grievances against these spammers and bots. No one should be able to add links on content that they are did not originally post. PERIOD.

Every blogger that is a creator of art should REBLOG THIS. Tumblr’s hand needs to be forced into action. I mostly likely will be deleting all blogs that follow but don’t interact with my blog in a positive way and I don’t care if my follower count goes down to 15 people.

Tumblr functions solely on the backs of creators. The #artistsontumblr , #paintersontumblr, #photographersontumblr #sexworkers #camgirls #models etc People come to this site for the creative content. We shouldn’t have to beg and plea with them to construct this site in a manner that protects the creative integrity of our work. They should be asking us what they can do to make things better. Instead of ignoring us. We need to collectively stand up and tell @staff that it is not acceptable for tumblr to allow credits to be stripped from original content and it is not acceptable for people who reblog to be able to add any links of any kind to the work of artist. It takes two weeks to get a reply from tumblr which doesn’t even solve the problem. When the power to remove your imagery from someones blog that doesn’t respect #art should be in your hands as a creator. This is not acceptable and this post needs to be reblogged and #boosted until we get answers and change in policy. If you follow me and you do not reblog this you are just another parasite who doesn’t respect the art you use to decorate your blogs with. I don’t care if you have 50 followers or 50,000. You need to reblog this and tag #staff . and I’m not going to get off this soapbox until I see change. So unfollow if you like.
