Jack keeps you wrapped in cotton, even while he’s buried to the hilt.
One broad palm stays splayed between your shoulder blades, a promise that he has you, always has you, while the other wanders, taming fly-aways behind your ear, thumb sweeping the tears that shimmer there before they can cool.
“Easy, angel,” he murmurs, voice steeped in amber nectar. “I know she’s full. Just breathe for me.”
You do your best, but every lungful drags you further down his length, your body desperate for the heavy fill it’s already trembling to accommodate. A needy whimper slips out, fists knotting the sheets, and he soothes you with a gentle kiss against your smile line.
“That’s it,” he praises, hips rocking in a rich, molasses-slow circle that lets you savor every thick inch. “Such a good girl, taking it all — see how beautifully you fit me?”
Tiny wildfires flower through you everywhere at once, heating your cheeks, spilling down your throat, settling low in your belly where desire winds itself tight and shining.
Embarrassment flickers its wings right alongside it, because he’s cooing at you the same way he coaxes patients through vaccinations: gentle, forbearing, inexorable.
“Tell me if it’s too much,” he says, like there exists a universe where you would ask him to stop.
His hand glides the length of your back, fingers pausing in the dip where your spine meets sacrum.
Too much is exactly how you’d describe the feeling of his cock dragging across that spot that makes your vision strobe starbusting colors, but the tenderness in his voice knots something unsteady in your body.
You manage a breathy, “please, don’t stop.”
A contented rumble answers you, and he plants a feather-light kiss on your forehead, right where he’d lay cool fingers to check your temperature.
He resumes that same rhythm. Slow drive in, lingering grind, languid pull out that leaves you aching for the return. The headboard knocks a soft counterpoint, each tap punctuated by his gentle commentary.
“Doing so well,” he croons when your elbows buckle, gathering you up with one flush tug to his chest. “Hold on to me, there you go, honey.”
Jack angles your leg higher, opening you wider for him, and the change steals air from your lungs in one shattered sound.
“Shh,” he hushes, half-smile curving, proud and adoring all at once. “I know. Feels big, doesn’t it? Let me make it better.”
His fingers dip to your clit, and your gasp dissolves into his name. “Jack — s’good.”
The room narrows to the glide of his thumb and the steady ballast of his body.
He kisses the salt at your hairline, murmuring, “Same here, baby. My perfect girl. Let me handle the rest, yeah?”
MARIA NOTE if being babied this hard during sex is wrong, i refuse to be right <3
I KNOW SHE’S FULL…..HOLD ON TO ME…….FEELS BIG DOESNT IT… LET ME MAKE IT BETTER……MY PERFECT GIRL…. LET ME HANDLE THE REST…. maria….. you have outdone yourself…..
18+ mdni thinking about jack abott and his sweet girl who gets distracted during sex n can have trouble finishing…
he can see when you’re into it— meeting his eye, smiling, responding to his words with sweet whimpers n hushed whispers as he fucks you… but then he can see when your head goes elsewhere. your eyes glaze over a bit and drift to the ceiling, you stop grinding down to meet his thrusts.
His hand comes up to cup your face in an attempt to draw you back, and you turn your face to kiss his palm, but he knows it’s just an absentminded reflex.
“Hey.” Jack urges, voice a low rasp. “Hey, doll. Look at me.” He smiles gently when you finally meet his eye with a small one of your own. “Where’d you go, pretty girl? Gotta stay with me.”
“Sorry,” you murmur, all breathy as Jack’s hips snap forward n his cock kisses your cervix. “Just thinking.”
Jack shakes his head, light and easy and hardly a reprimand. “You’ve got all the time in the world to think, sweetheart. I need you to focus right now, can you do that for me?”
You nod.
“Feel this?” He rolls his hips again, slow and deep. “Feel how full you are?”
You nod again, and this time your brows furrow n your face scrunches in pleasure as you fully find your way back to the present.
“Yeah. Attagirl. Feels nice, doesn’t it?”
“Yes,” You breathe out. You let your back arch, rutting down against Jack to chase that build-up you need. He nods encouragingly.
“There you go. You’re doing such a good job.” Jack’s hand moves low between your bodies. He finds your clit, rolls it between the pads of his index and middle fingers.
He smirks when you moan and tremble. He knows you’re getting there, but also knows that you could just as easily lose it again. So he keeps talking.
“Such a good girl for me. Look how fuckin’ perfect you are.” He presses a kiss to your cheek, then your neck, then he connects his lips to yours and lets his tongue sweep inside, swallowing your next moan. He’s panting softly when he pulls away.
His fingers speed up just a bit when he can tell that you need more. He nods, urging you along when your hands come up to grip his shoulders and you look at him with desperate eyes. He keeps the encouragement flowing freely. “Good girl. Come on, you can do it. I feel you getting close, babydoll. You’re doing so well. I wanna feel you to cum on my cock.”
Your brows knit in concentration and you writhe on the bed, trying to move the right way and find the right angles to finally send yourself over the edge.
When it works you tighten up everywhere— your fingers dig into the freckled flesh of Jack’s shoulders, your body goes rigid, your mouth slackens in a long, airy moan. Jack groans lowly at the feeling of your walls clenching up around him, pulling his cock in deep.
“Goood girl.” Jack grits out. His hips stutter as he diligently fucks you through your orgasm. “You’re so good, honey. Fuck.” His forehead falls against yours, sweaty gray curls pressing against your hairline and lust-blown eyes mere inches from your own. “That never gets fucking old.”

the way you’ll be making a pot of coffee after slipping out of bed, not wanting to wake jack after he’d finally gotten a day off, but he’ll be behind you with his hands in your hips, pressing his lips to your neck five minutes later.
“morning, baby,” he’d rasp, his hard cock pressing against your bottom through his thin pajama pants. like every other morning, you already saw where this was going.
“jack,” you whined with a giggle, pressing the button on the coffee machine to start its brewing. “it’s too early.”
“never too early, honey,” jack said. you didn’t have to turn to know he was already freeing his dick from his boxers, ready to repeat what was now your morning ritual. he pulled your nightgown up slowly to reveal the sweetest sight—no underwear.
“can’t expect me to behave when you dress like this, baby,” jack grunted. without another word, he’d slip inside your needy pussy and fill you to the brim, caging you in with his hands on either side of the counter. “now you have to take it.”
and as he’d start to rut deep inside you, ready to fuck you dizzy like always, it’d occur to you that the coffee might have to wait. . .

thinking about seeing robby in secret and teasing the hell out of him on shift. robby groaning his usual disgruntled “fuck me” after dealing with a particularly frustrating patient to which you cheekily mutter, “i mean…” with other doctors in earshot. robby’d just look at you with a face akin to disbelief, though this wasn’t the first time you’d hinted at your secret arrangement just to fuck with him, so that wasn’t quite right. the look was more predatory than anything.
so that little comment would end with you bent over the breakroom counter while he bullied his large cock into your pussy, groaning at how well you clenched around him. he seldom fucked you on shift for fear of getting caught, but he was not past putting you back in your place when you were clearly in need of it.
“robby, mmph, s- slow down! too big,” you whined helplessly, his heavy balls slapping your ass with every thrust. robby covered your mouth with his hand, sticking two fingers down your throat. “ah-ah, baby. you were asking for this, weren’t you, baby? you wanted my big cock. now take what i fucking give you.”
you could only whimper and submit to him as he pounded you into the counter, efforts nothing short of relentless until he was cumming into your pussy, pulling you in by the waist to make sure you took every drop. robby wasn’t usually a quickie kind of guy, but certain circumstances allowed for it.
he leaned over your shoulder and spoke right into your ear, placing his hand on your neck not to squeeze but to warn. “you gonna behave the rest of my shift, baby?” he rasped, to which you nodded. “yeah? gonna be my good girl again?”
“m- mhm. so good, robby, promise,” you said meekly, too fucked-out to speak any louder. robby pressed a gentle kiss to your cheek, a stark contrast to his earlier ministrations.
“there’s a girl. now, clean yourself up, honey. we’ve got a job to do.”

Summary: After an unfortunate mixup of pain medication and your friend's party substances at Pitt Fest, you're rushed to the Pitt and placed in the care of Jack Abbot. As he oversees your care, you get a little too touchy, and a little too honest.
Word Count: 6.6k
Content: accidental drug use (MDMA), mention of alcohol consumption, age gap (reader is mid 20s), fluff, comfort, a hint of smut (18+ MDNI) - literally like two seconds of thigh riding, mention of ovulation
A/N: listen… I’ve never done MDMA. I did a lot of research, but I had to fudge some stuff for plot. don’t do drugs kids
Pitt Fest was not your idea. When your friend Beth offered you her spare ticket, you waffled at first. You're not really a crowds person, or a partying person. Beth was always the partier in college. But you do like live music, and she pointed out that your top Spotify artist from last year is in the concert lineup.
So you’d caved.
That decision is coming back to bite you in the ass, and bite hard.
It’s hot as balls outside. You’re covered in sweat, which mingles in a sticky and unpleasant mix with the sunscreen you’ve been dutifully applying since the afternoon to avoid frying like an egg. When the sun finally set, you no longer had to worry about the burgeoning threat of skin cancer, but the heat doesn’t break. In fact, it almost seems to get worse, because more and more people arrive to crowd you as night descends and the bigger names with larger fanbases grace the stage.
You’re waiting for Beth outside of the bathroom facilities. She's been ingesting a steady stream of margaritas since sundown, so she leaves you holding the bag, literally. At least it's a nice excuse to separate yourself from the throng of jumping, sweaty bodies gathered by the stage.
It’s nearly two in the morning. You’re hungry. Your feet are killing you. You have a headache from the festival’s sugary cocktails. You’re sweating through the top Beth lent you. And on top of everything else, your ovulation cramps are kicking in like a motherfucker.
Growing desperate, you dig through Beth's bag, searching for the little Altoid tin that she always keeps her pain meds in. At long last, your hands make contact with the metal tin at the bottom of her tote. Nearly crying with relief, you pop an aspirin in your mouth and wash it down with the tepid bottled water you’ve been clutching for the last hour.
Beth's voice rings out from behind you, talking over the din of the nearby DJ set. “What are you doing?”
You turn towards her, and see Beth staring at the tin in your hand. “I have cramps,” you explain, and just as you’re about to shove the tin back in her bag and hand it to her, she grabs your wrist.
“…please tell me you didn’t just take one of those,” she says urgently.
You raise an eyebrow. “Why?”
“Because those are not aspirin, babe.”
Your blood runs cold. Your brain quickly does the math — Beth had told you how much she’s looking forward to meeting up with her rave friends tomorrow for the second night of Pitt Fest. Beth has always been quite the partier. And she often partied with her good friend Molly.
Your eyes widen in horror. “Oh no.”
Pitt Fest, as always, is a huge pain in the ass for the night shift.
Handoff gets messy. There's a shit ton of substance cases, even more of heatstroke. Robby stays longer than he should and snaps at everyone, clearly in his feelings remembering last year’s Pitt Fest. Understandable, yes, but it also makes everyone’s life that much harder when they’re within sniping distance of him.
Needless to say, Jack is already over this shift, and it’s not even halfway done. It doesn't help that his favorite resident happens to have the night off, which deposits his mood firmly in the hospital basement. Which, coincidentally, happens to be the location of the morgue.
Now that Robby has been politely ordered to go the fuck home, Jack feels like he can finally focus on his job instead of doing damage control with the med students. As he walks down the hall, Lena catches his attention from the hub desk.
“We have an ambulance two minutes out with a mid-20s female, collapsed at Pitt Fest,” she informs him. “Probable dehydration, likely drug-related, because, well… Pitt Fest.”
This festival truly is the gift that keeps on giving. Jack cracks his knuckles and eyes the ambulance bay doors. “All right. Let's get ready to receive the party girl.”
A few minutes later, the gurney is wheeled in by two paramedics and received by Lena and Parker. Parker shoots an alarmed and confused look over her shoulder at Jack, who steps forward to supervise.
“Dr. Abbot!"
Of all the things Jack expected to see tonight, this is at the bottom of the list. You're strapped to the gurney, scantily clad and gleaming with sweat, a goofy smile on your face and your pupils blown so wide they nearly swallow your irises.
Jack scrubs a hand through his hair. “You're shitting me.”
This is quite the surprising turn of events.
After Lena sets you up in South 16, Jack discreetly shoos away Parker so he can handle your examination himself. He doubts you would be comfortable with one of your fellow residents seeing you like this, considering your condition and your current state of dress.
Jack closes the door behind him and saunters over to you. His eyes snag on your tight, strappy top, and the strategically placed cutouts baring sections of your midriff and chest. He’s holding onto his professionalism by a thread, especially with the way you’re shifting around on the exam table, causing the hem of your miniskirt to ride up.
He has no choice but to focus up. You need medical attention, not the kind of attention his brain and body really want to give you right now. First, Lena takes your temperature and shows him the number on the display. 100.2 degrees F. It's coming down from what the paramedics recorded in the ambulance, and not so high that he’s still worried about heat stroke. But you’ll need cooling down regardless.
“That’s quite the outfit you got on,” he mutters as he gently raises your chin and shines his penlight into your pupils.
“Do you like it?” you ask, beaming up at him even as you squint. “I borrowed it from my friend. She’s so nice.”
Your pupils are so dilated that your eyes are almost completely black.
“Yup.” Jack clicks off the light and sighs, turning to Lena. “She’s rolling, all right. Let’s get a tox to make sure there’s nothing else to be worried about.”
You don’t seem to even register the pain of the needle prick, but you let out a delighted little hum when Lena smooths a bandage over your arm and adds gentle pressure over top of it.
“That feels good,” you murmur with a lazy smile.
“I bet.” Jack crosses his arms and tries to give you a stern look. “Can I ask what my best resident is doing taking ecstasy at a music festival?”
“I didn’t take it on purpose, I swear,” you protest, your eyes widening in a brief panic. “It was my friend’s. I thought it was aspirin, for my cramps.”
“You’re menstruating?” he asks, picking up his tablet and sitting in the edge of the exam table next to you to amend your chart.
You shake your head and say matter-of-factly, “Ovulation cramps.”
His eyebrows shoot up towards the ceiling in surprise.
You continue babbling, unaware of the grenade you just lobbed at Jack. “She tried to get me to throw it up, but I couldn’t because I don’t really have a gag reflex.”
Jack takes a deep breath to prevent his brain from completely short-circuiting.
Your face breaks into a sheepish smile, and you giggle, “Oops. Sorry, that was probably too much information.” Leaning forward on the exam table, you bring your face inches away from his and observe with a sigh, “Your eyes are really pretty.”
From behind him, Jack hears Lena snickering under her breath. He clears his throat and straightens up to standing.
Avoiding Lena's eyes, he instructs her, “Let’s, uh, get her some fluids and cooling packs, huh? Maybe a Saf-T-Pop, too. Keep her mouth occupied, so she won’t say any more nonsense she’ll regret in the morning.”
Lena just shoots him an amused look and heads off to gather supplies. Nurses, he thinks ruefully to himself. They see everything.
Movement and sound draw his attention back to you. You're laid back on the exam table, eyes fluttering closed. And you’re running your hands through your hair, letting out a pleased little noise like the sensation is better than sex.
Jack breathes carefully through his nose. He needs out of this room with you, before this becomes mortifying for everyone involved. His phone buzzes in his pocket, giving him the perfect excuse for escape.
His voice is thin when he speaks, and for a moment, he’s glad you’re too high to notice. “You sit tight, sunshine.”
As he turns to leave the room, your hand catches the edge of his scrubs.
“You’re leaving?” your mouth turns down into a pout, those huge eyes shining up at him. He very nearly gives in, very nearly reaches out a hand to stroke a thumb across your cheek just to hear the kind of sound it would pull from you. But his phone buzzes insistently, so he briefly pats your knee instead.
“I have other patients to see. But I'll be back before you know it,” he assures you, pulling open the door and diving headfirst back into the glorious chaos.
At least it’ll be a convenient distraction from the thought of you, eagerly waiting in south fifteen for him to return.
He shakes his head in disbelief. Ovulation cramps. You’re gonna be the death of him.
An MVA, a ketamine overdose, and a cardiac event later, the Pitt finally slows down enough for Jack to breathe. Enough to check your tox screen and sigh with relief that the MDMA you mistakenly took wasn’t cut with anything. Alcohol is the only other thing in your system, in levels not high enough to be concerning. Although, combined with the ecstasy, it means you probably won’t remember much of this exciting little escapade.
At long last, he manages to find some time to check on you.
In his absence, Lena had set you up with a gown to preserve a little more of your modesty. You’re laying on the exam table amongst the cooling packs, an IV attached to your arm and a Saf-T-Pop in your mouth that’s turning your tongue red.
A smile breaks like sunrise over your face as soon as you see him.
“Hey there, sunshine,” he greets you, approaching you with a little more warmth now that Lena's sharp eyes aren’t here to observe.
“Hi. I missed you,” you sigh.
Jack smirks. “Did you now?”
You nod happily. “Mm-hmm.”
“How are you feeling?” he asks, his gaze attentive, checking you over.
“Cold,” you answer, wrapping your arms around yourself.
He reaches up a hand to feel your forehead. Still warm, but still steadily coming down over time. He’s satisfied enough with your progress. You'll be out of here in no time.
The prospect disappoints him just a little.
“Yeah, your body is having trouble regulating its temperature,” he explains, his thumb stroking delicately along your hairline. “We’ll need to keep these cool packs on you a little while longer.”
Just as his hand retreats, your hand catches his wrist. You press his palm to your cheek, almost nuzzling into it like an affectionate kitten.
“Your hands are so warm,” you murmur, eyelids slipping shut as you revel in the sensation.
The gesture catches him off guard, but he doesn’t pull away. He couldn’t even if he wanted to, and he certainly doesn’t want to.
“Easy there, gorgeous,” he chuckles softly. “I need that hand for doctoring.”
Your eyelids flutter halfway open, and you look up at him with a lazy grin, clearly pleased as punch. “You think I'm gorgeous?”
Jack freezes for a moment. The word had slipped out without him even registering it, familiar and endeared and entirely too revealing.
“I plead the fifth,” he replies, warmth creeping up his neck.
You giggle again. God, that sound does things to his heart that are medically concerning.
“I think you’re gorgeous,” you mumble dreamily.
Jack blinks in surprise.
He’s been a little too fond of you for a while now, been staring a little too long when you brush past him in the halls. And he’s suspected before that it might not be completely one-sided. He sees how you receive his attention and praise differently than the other attendings, how you look at him with more than just the admiration of a mentor. But suspecting it and having it be confirmed are two different things. Especially since you wouldn’t be saying any of this if you were sober.
He tries to laugh it off before his ego can run away with the compliment. “I think you’re high.”
You shrug. “Maybe. But I always think you’re gorgeous.”
Removing his palm from your cheek, you examine it with fascination, running a finger along the deep set lines. “I think about these,” you say thoughtfully. “All the time.”
Jack is a little ashamed at how quickly that comment goes straight to his cock. His favorite resident, fantasizing about his hands, maybe even touching yourself to the thought of them, wishing your own fingers were his—
He drags his free hand over his face and mutters, "Jesus Christ."
“Can I tell you a secret?” You peer up at him again, that goofy, starstruck smile returning. “I’ve got, like, the biggest crush on you.”
Unfortunately for Jack, there is very little time to process this very interesting information before his phone buzzes again. Just beyond the doors, he can hear the familiar sound of what is likely a high-priority trauma heading into the bay. Voices overlapping in urgent tones, gurney wheels on tile floor, grunts and yelps of pain from a patient.
Jack crosses to the door in two steps, and speaks over his shoulder to you. “Hey, baby, I gotta handle something. Stay out of trouble, okay?”
As the door swings shut behind him, he just manages to catch the sound of you happily mumbling to yourself, “He called me baby.”
Which is how he heads into Trauma 1 with a smile on his face, entirely too cheerful for a man facing down a compound femur fracture.
The shift that would never fucking end is almost fucking over. And all Jack can think about is you. You and your moony, lovey-dovey eyes and your wide, childlike smile. You gazing up at him and crooning I have the biggest crush on you. You giggling and telling him point-blank that you’re ovulating.
As he rolls out of yet another demanding trauma, Lena updates him on your condition. You’re rehydrated and back to a normal temperature, pretty much ready for discharge if you can be released to someone who will take care of you. He returns to your room, finding you unhooked from your IV and cold-pack-free, happily set up with another lollipop.
“Jack, you’re back!” you exclaim, and then laugh at your accidental rhyme.
Still rolling, he thinks. He checks his watch. According to your best guess of when you took the ‘aspirin’ in your friend’s purse, it’s been about four hours. You'll be due to start coming down anytime in the next two hours or so. He's due to head out, but he can’t bring himself to go home until he knows you’re leaving in capable hands.
“Hey, sunshine.” He offers you a tired but warm smile. “Seems like you’re in pretty good shape here, and you should be tapering off pretty soon. You got anybody to take you home, keep an eye on you?”
A little crease forms between your brows as you think hard. “I don’t know where my friend went when the ambulance came. And I think my phone died,” you add pathetically, gesturing to the device in your lap and its terminally black screen.
Jack pinches the bridge of his nose. He can’t in good conscience leave you to your own devices, especially when you’ve never taken ecstasy before. At worst, there’s still a chance you could have some kind of reaction. At best, the comedown is sure to knock you on your ass.
He can only think of one thing to do. It's not the best idea. It might not even be a good idea. But his brain is too addled from the long shift to come up with anything better. And you need someone to take care of you.
“Jesus. Okay,” he mutters to himself, then sits on the edge of the exam table, bringing his face level to yours. “Listen up, sunshine.”
You gaze at him intently, attention vacillating occasionally between his eyes and his mouth. Jack has a feeling that what he’s about to say will go in one ear and right out the other. But there’s a chance you’ll retain it, so he says it anyway.
“You're gonna have a pretty serious crash when you come down. All those happy little chemicals that are making you feel good right now?” He gives you a soft little tap against your temple, and you giggle softly. He continues, “They’re gonna go on vacation for a day or two. I don't want you dealing with that on your own. So I'm gonna take you to my place, just to watch out for you until you’re feeling a little more like yourself.”
You’re quiet for a minute, your brain catching up and computing the meaning of what he just said. When it finishes, the lightbulb goes off behind your eyes, and you ask excitedly, “We’re having a sleepover?”
Of course that would be your takeaway.
He chuckles as he helps you to your feet. “That's right. You got it.”
When Jack drapes his hoodie over your shoulders and guides you out of the Pitt to his car, he’s reminded of all the reasons that this is probably a terrible idea.
He sees the watchful eyes and the knowing smirks of the nurses. He sees Parker and Crus snickering behind their hands. He sees Shen counting up his winnings from the betting pool, because he wrote down molly and tripsitter Abbot.
And he feels your hand clinging to his bicep, sees how you gaze up at him with a dreamy expression as he walks you out to his car. He’s knows he’s really going to need to behave himself for a few hours, because there’s a very good chance that you won’t, and Jack doesn’t want to accidentally take advantage of your… impaired judgement.
You spend most of the ride with your face by the cracked car window, feeling the wind on your face, eyes blissfully closed. Jack thanks his lucky stars that he thought to give the apartment a once-over before shift, so he isn’t bringing you into a total mess.
He walks you into his bedroom and gestures to the en-suite. “Bathroom’s there, if you want to take a shower. I'll find you something a little more… comfortable to wear,” he adds, peeling his eyes away from your tiny little shirt and how you’re already fussing with the straps.
As he turns to his bureau to find you a t-shirt, he feels arms wrapping around his middle, your body molding to his back as you embrace him with a sigh. “Thank you for being so nice to me.”
Jack swallows and delicately removes your hands, stepping out of your embrace and ushering you in the direction of the bathroom.
“Go on, then,” he instructs you. “While you’re still upright.”
You barely even register it as rejection, heading towards the shower and wiggling out of your top before Jack even has the chance to close the door behind you. Which he does, quickly and with his eyes glued to the floor.
His instincts were right. He will very much need to behave himself while you’re here.
He busies himself while you shower by changing out of his scrubs and assembling a meal. It's a humble offering — just a couple of sandwiches and frozen french fries heated up in the oven, but it’s better than nothing.
After about twenty minutes, you emerge from the bedroom with damp hair and your face scrubbed clean, clad in one of his t-shirts and a pair of his boxers, smelling like his soap. You lean on his kitchen island with a contented little sigh.
Jack repeats it to himself like a mantra — behave yourself.
“Time to eat something,” he says, sliding one of the plates toward you.
“I’m not hungry.”
“I know. But I'm trying to set you up for success here, so you don’t feel as awful when this is out of your system. When's the last time you ate?” he asks.
You rest your chin on your hand as you think back. “I had… lunch.”
“Thought so.” He puts the plate into your hands and steers you in the direction of the couch with a hand on your lower back. “You and I are gonna eat these sandwiches, drink some water, and watch Planet Earth.”
You gasp in delight and plop down onto the couch. “I love Planet Earth!”
He knows you do. You'd gushed about it being your favorite docuseries at work, and he’d bragged about owning the box set. It had been the first day you and he had really started to bond.
Once the tv is on, it thankfully keeps you occupied. You chew your food slowly, enraptured with the beautiful imagery on the screen. Managing a decent effort with the meal, you eat half the sandwich and most of the fries before you start to lose a little steam.
You abandon your plate on the coffee table, then take Jack completely by surprise as you lean over to lay your head in his lap.
He goes still for a moment, unsure if he should be allowing this. But he doesn’t have the heart to push you away, so he puts his plate aside and lets a hand come to rest on your shoulder.
You sigh happily and snuggle closer.
It's been so long since Jack has taken care of someone like this that he’d almost forgotten what it feels like. How good it feels to be needed. The easy intimacy of sharing a space, sharing a meal, of letting someone melt against you after a long night.
Affectionately, he brushes a stray lock of hair out of your face, and you practically purr in response, leaning into his hand. So Jack keeps doing it, keeps gently stroking his fingers through your hair, preferring to watch your relaxing form instead of the polar bears on screen.
The two of you spend nearly an hour like that, until your breath starts to take on that even, drowsy quality and Jack’s own brain starts calling for rest. He gently eases you off his lap to sit up, takes you by the hand and leads you to bed, already resigning himself to the aching back that a couch nap is going to earn him.
Jack sets you up with a glass of water and the best blankets in the linen closet. As he turns to head back to the living room, your hand grabs his arm, pulling him back.
“Stay.”
Your voice is low and warm. You're sitting up in his bed, his sheets pooled around your knees. Your eyes are dark, tempting, pleading.
Jack knows dangerous territory when he sees it.
Still, your serotonin is due to start dropping any time now, and hurt feelings are only going to be worsened once it does. Jack sits carefully on the edge of the bed, maintaining a few inches of distance, his other hand gently cradling your cheek.
“Sorry, sunshine. Not a good idea.”
You move closer, your gaze fixed firmly on his mouth. “Why?”
Best behavior, Jack.
“Because you’re still tapering off. Plus, I just worked a long shift and I need to sleep.” He takes in a deep breath as he feels your hand slide across his shoulders. “And I've got a feeling I won't be getting much rest next to you.”
In a move so surprising that Jack is momentarily powerless to stop it, you rise up onto your knees and shift to straddle one of his thighs.
“What if I promise to be really, really good?” you murmur sweetly.
Jack knows he should stop you, and he almost does. But then you rock your hips on his thigh, the tiniest little life-ruining movement, and you let out the softest, neediest little sound. Suddenly, Jack is hanging onto his sanity and self control-by a thread. And that thread is fraying rapidly.
“Baby,” he whispers, half warning and half plea. His hands come to your hips, torn between stopping you and spurring you on.
Your hips rock again, more purposeful this time. “Please,” you beg quietly, so close now that your lips just barely brush against his.
For a few shameful moments, Jack forgets about his fatigue and the ache in his leg and he wonders… how morally reprehensible would it really be to just let you get off on his thigh? You’d said yourself that you’re ovulating, probably making you even needier. Fuck, he can feel how badly you want it, wetness soaking through the boxers you’re wearing and Jack’s sweatpants. Would it really be so awful of him to sit passively as you hump his leg to get the relief you’re clearly so desperate for? To take pity on you and let you use him for your pleasure?
But he knows it would be wrong, because he’d be getting off on it even if you didn’t touch him. You're not in your right mind, and he doesn’t want to make you come for the first time when you’re whacked out on MDMA.
Summoning the will from deep inside himself, he stills your hips and eases you off of his thigh, ignoring your whines as he nudges you back onto the pillows.
“It wouldn’t be right. I'm not touching you until you’re sober,” he says firmly.
Jack gets to his feet and tucks the blankets around you. “I’ll see you in a few hours. Wake me if you need anything.” He laughs softly at the pointed pouting look you shoot his way. “Other than that.”
“You’re no fun,” you call after him as he retreats into the living room.
Once the bedroom door is shut behind him, he collapses on the couch and wrestles off his prosthetic, punching a throw pillow a few times to soften it before going horizontal. Even after what felt like the longest shift he’s had in months, he’s unsure how much sleep he’ll actually manage to get knowing you’re in the next room. Probably snuggling one of his pillows as if it’s him, probably squeezing your thighs together until the last of the drugs leave your system.
He groans and rolls over, willing his body and his still half-hard cock to go to sleep.
You wake feeling like death warmed over.
You’re in a bed that doesn’t belong to you, but smells familiar and comforting. Same with your clothes. A few memories make it through the fog, blurry and out of order. Planet Earth. Jack’s hand, warm and pleasant on your cheek. An ambulance ride. Lena ruffling your hair and handing you a lollipop. A shower with a chair and a grab bar and soap that smells like Jack.
You’re at Jack's apartment, you realize with a start.
Checking the time groggily, you observe that you've slept from the early morning until late afternoon. Thank god you’d asked for tonight off as well, anticipating you’d need recovery time after Pitt Fest.
You can vaguely recall the warm, fuzzy feelings you’d experienced last night. In the abstract, at least. Now, you feel mostly guilt and shame and embarrassment and anxiety. How could you have been so stupid?
Sounds of life echo from the kitchen, which means Jack has woken up ahead of you. Your guilt sharpens. Jack is spending his hard-earned downtime taking care of you, because of your own carelessness.
Fatigue clings to your bones as you shuffle to the bathroom. The reflection in the mirror is less than kind. Dark shadows frame your eyes, worse than the usual bags worn by the night shift crew. Your hair is a mess, and you sigh as you comb your fingers through to tame it.
Time to face the music.
You trudge out into the kitchen, where Jack is wearing an apron over a t-shirt and sweats and cooking an omelette, looking awfully chipper for having slept seven hours on the couch. He looks so good that it briefly makes you angry. Fuck him for looking so good, while you look and feel like utter dogshit.
Of course, that annoyance turns to guilt again when he looks up and smiles.
“Hey, lover girl,” he greets you warmly as you lean on the kitchen island. “How are you feeling?”
You rub your eyes and groan, “Like I got hit by a Mack truck.”
He squeezes your shoulder fondly and grabs a plate from an overhead cabinet. “Let’s get some food and water in you.”
“Thank you,” you mutter sheepishly. “I’m sorry about… all this.”
“Don't even worry about it, sunshine.”
Jack hands you a glass of water and starts making you a plate. You accept it with a grimace. “I'm not feeling very sunshine-y right about now. I can't remember half of what happened after I went down at the concert.”
“I hope we’ve learned not to go digging for meds in that particular friend’s purse.” He smirks and sets a plate in front of you. A vegetable omelette and buttered toast. Your appetite hasn’t yet returned to its normal levels, but your doctor brain knows that you really need to eat, so you reach for the toast first.
“Never again,” you vow as you take a bite.
In the light of day and out from under the influence of Beth's ‘aspirin,’ you get a good look at Jack's apartment for the first time as he assembles his own plate. It's not spotless, but it’s generally tidy, and it’s a very nice place. Good furniture, great windows with better blackout shades, a nice floor plan. Its niceness only makes you feel smaller.
You poke at your omelette, stewing. “Jack?”
“Yes?”
“Don't take this the wrong way, but…why am I here?”
He plates his own omelette and leans a hip against the kitchen island. “You’d never taken MDMA before, and I knew you’d be in for a hell of a drop. I didn't want you to be on your own.”
You resist the urge to frown. This whole saga is doing nothing to remedy your tragic crush on him. Did he have to be so nice and caring on top of everything else? It feels a little unfair at the moment.
“That’s… very considerate,” you mumble.
“What can I say? I'm a considerate guy.” He pops a bite of omelette into his mouth with a wink.
A thought occurs to you that briefly makes your stomach turn. “Does the whole Pitt know?”
Jack's expression tells you everything you need to know before he even speaks. “There… might have been a betting pool on the subject. Shen cleaned up.”
You drop your face into your hands. “Awesome. That's really awesome.”
Every single one of your coworkers knows that you spent the night rolling. Tears prick at your eyes beneath your palms, which only worsens your humiliation. The last thing you need right now is to cry in front of Jack Abbot. Even if it’s just because the chemicals in your brain are out of whack, it doesn't make it any less embarrassing.
“Hey.” Jack's hand finds your shoulder again. “Don’t worry about it. They're good people, no one is judging you.”
Despite your best efforts, a mortifying little sniffle slips out at the kindness in his voice.
“Oh, sweetheart,” he murmurs. “Come here.”
You can’t bear to look up, but your breath hitches in surprise when Jack pulls you into his arms. Instantly, your brain begins to quiet, focusing on the steady rise and fall of his chest beneath your cheek, the reassuring weight of his arms around you, the slow arc of his thumb rhythmically stroking your shoulder blade.
It's medicine. Oxytocin and dopamine, feel-good chemicals produced by physical touch, bolstering your brain against the sapped well of serotonin the ecstasy left in its wake. It also makes your heart flutter pathetically in your chest.
He holds you for a long moment, his grip tightening when you finally loop your arms around his waist and return the embrace.
“Thank you for taking care of me,” you whisper, allowing the comfort to sink into your skin and fill your lungs.
“Of course.”
Jack only pulls away when you do, gently swiping a calloused thumb underneath your eye to banish the straggling tear that managed to escape.
“Let’s get comfortable on the couch,” he says, a hand settling on your back to guide you. “You’re still on the comedown.”
You worry you might be overstaying your welcome. But Jack seems to be in no rush to get you out of his apartment, content to let you rot on his couch as long as you need to. Surely he must have better things to do on his night off than take care of you, but he sits sentry at your side without complaint.
After some consideration, Planet Earth is tabled for the time being — even if you’ve seen it before, animal death is sure to bring back the waterworks in your current state. Flipping through channels, you settle on a cheesy mid-2000s rom-com that you’ve seen before and snuggle back into the couch cushions.
Through it all, you feel the comfort of his steady presence, his hand rubbing idle circles on your back, like an IV drip of Vitamin Jack straight to your brain. You give into the feeling, too worn out to fight it, curling into his side. Eventually, you feel a gentle graze at your scalp as he idly plays with your hair. It surprises you for a moment, but you’re not complaining in the slightest. You melt into it, eyes fluttering closed until you’re slipping in and out of a light doze.
Afternoon fades to evening, to dinnertime, to nighttime, to bedtime. Even after your intermittent sleep, your fatigue is still bone deep, and Jack insists you can stay the night. You really try to convince him to let you take the couch, but he refuses, insisting that your body needs proper rest to return to baseline. At the end of the night, he sends you off to bed with a smirk.
When you wake up in Jack's bed for the second time, it’s much less disorienting. It helps that you’re much clearer than you were seventeen hours ago. The clock reads 9:05 am — you have the whole day ahead of you to shower, change, and steel yourself for the humiliation ritual that is bound to be your shift tonight.
You stumble into the living room, bleary-eyed. Jack is reclined on the couch with a laptop and readers perched on the end of his nose. Ugh, fuck him again for looking so good.
His eyes find yours over the edge of the screen. “Hey there. You sleep good?”
“Mm-hmm,” you reply, stretching. “I'm feeling much better, I think.”
His mouth curves at the corner. “Good.”
Leaning on the edge of the couch, you sigh and glance at the clock on the wall. “I should probably head home soon, get my life together before shift tonight. Would you be able to drive me home?”
“Sure thing, sunshine.”
After you eat breakfast and shower off the cast of bedrotting from the day before, you change back into the clothes you arrived in, which Jack took the liberty of washing for you. As much as you appreciate the gesture, you blanch at the idea of Jack handling your underwear, and try very hard not to think about that mental image.
As the quiet car ride progresses, you ponder your looming fate, mentally preparing yourself for the teasing you’ll get from the nurses and other residents. It's disorienting to not know what you’re walking into, to have been mentally absent for most of it.
You can’t resist the urge to ask anymore. “Was I a total mess?”
He nods, amused. “Yes. But a very cute mess.”
“God, this is so embarrassing,” you groan. “What did I say?”
“Are you sure you wanna know?” he asks with a raised eyebrow.
That makes you pause, glancing at him warily. “…was it bad?”
“You got a little fixated on hands for a while.” Jack pauses, like he isn’t sure how much to reveal, if you’re ready to handle it. “Said you think about mine all the time.”
Suddenly, you feel a bit sick, even though the car is headed in a straight line down the road. If that's just where it starts… if that’s not the worst of it, then what is?
“Oh god,” you whisper in horror.
“You said you think I'm gorgeous,” he continues, voice thick with amusement. “And that you have a big ol’ crush on me. And… you might’ve tried to seduce me a little at bedtime.”
Your cheeks flare hot. This is quite possibly the worst outcome of the situation aside from death. At the moment, death feels preferable.
You stare straight ahead, sinking in your seat and pressing your hands to your forehead to try and keep your brain from exploding. “Excuse me, I'm just gonna open the door and go lay down in traffic.”
He laughs, the sound warm and fond and doing absolutely nothing to temper your embarrassment. “It's okay.”
“It is completely not okay, Jack,” you protest, turning your body away from him and towards the passenger side door, like that will save you from this conversation.
Jack places a hand on your thigh.
All the systems in your brain go down simultaneously.
His palm rests just above your knee, not high enough to be too inappropriate, but it’s intimate. Especially because your choice of garment for Pitt Fest leaves your leg bare and exposed to his touch. Never once does he take his eyes off the road.
“It was flattering,” he says coolly, his thumb rubbing soothing circles over your knee. “And extremely cute.”
He lets the assertion hang in the silence, and he doesn’t move his hand, letting it rest warm and comfortable against the soft skin of your thigh.
After some considerable effort, you remember how to breathe. Once the oxygen makes it to your brain, you manage to peel your hands away from your face and peek sideways at him.
“…really?” you ask, because you need the confirmation. Does Jack Abbot — your mentor, the object of all your desires, and the man who just babysat you through an unwitting MDMA trip — really think you’re cute?
He gives your thigh a gentle squeeze. “Really.”
There isn’t much else to say for the rest of the car ride. Jack keeps his hand on your thigh until he turns down your street and throws the car in park. You try and fail to suppress a smile the whole way, and allow him to walk you up to your building’s front step, palms tingling with anticipation.
“I’d like to do this again sometime,” he says as you unlock the main entrance. “Minus the party drugs.”
You grin up at him, slightly emboldened by the revelations that occurred in the car. “You wanna have another sleepover?”
“Very much.” His eyes crinkle at the edges when he smiles back. “See you tonight?”
“See you tonight.”
You turn to head inside, but Jack catches your elbow. “Hey. One last thing.”
Before you have time to register his closeness, a hand slides along your waist, another cupping your jaw, and Jack is kissing you.
A warm, pleasant feeling floods you from top to toe, a high rivalling the chemical one you’d experienced twenty-eight hours ago. He kisses you like he’s been thinking about it that entire twenty-eight hours. It's tender and hungry at the same time. By the time he pulls away, your lips follow after his and you almost stumble forward into his arms.
You open your eyes and blink up at him, feeling a little dazed and starstruck again.
“Had to wait until you were level,” Jack murmurs. He gives you a lingering peck at the corner of your mouth and descends down the front steps to his car.
jack fucking reader...... and reader tugs his hair accidentally (for whatever reason) and he almost immediately cums because of it.. yes? how do we feel about this? thoughts?
YES anon absolutely. i feel AMAZING about this. thank you for putting this in my inbox
i feel like he is just so sensitive despite being unc. when you guys are fucking you can’t help but find something to grip onto, and sometimes your hands find his curly hair.. you tug on it while he’s already deep inside you and he almost immediately cums.
it catches you off guard because it was out of nowhere but you found it hot that you could make him finish so quickly from something so simple.
sometimes you won’t even be having sex and it will get him going. you could be making out and slightly tug on his hair and he is instantly rock hard.
put her in subspace and start asking her really difficult and confusing questions she doesn't know the answer to until she feels so so so dumb and lost that she needs you to think for her completely
frank bullying r for being a daddy’s girl…. robby having to deal with his crybaby 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️ yum i love them so bad
18+ mdni :’)) they are so important to me!! robby with a dramatic crybaby is so good!! i feel like it works so well because he deals with intense traumas all day, so it’s a strange sort of relief to come home and have the only tears be over your broken nail or the stray cat you saw on your walk home. you offer him situations where he gets to be needed and capable and in control that aren’t life or death. where he can soothe you and make you feel better and not be left feeling heavy with dread. there’s no real baggage.
but ALSO, it’s a situation where he can afford to be flippant and a bit cold and it’s appropriate rather than a questionable coping strategy. because the problem isn’t actually intense, if anything it’s completely mundane
like it kills two birds with one stone for him, for lack of a better phrase?? he’s able to genuinely help you, something he craves deeply, while being kinda an asshole about it, something he can’t seem to help
Summary: Robby and Jack share you. They drop you off every other night or so at the other one’s place, until one night Robby stays over at Jack’s.
NSWF, MDNI
The last two months have been a dream. You’ve been seeing both Robby and Jack. Most of the time you spend a night or two at one of their places before they drop you off at the other’s house. They never stay once they drop you off, it’s more of a nod they do with each other before handing the other person your bag. Occasionally, you stay at your place, but not very often.
Today is different though. You’ve been with Robby for the last two nights and today he’ll take you to Jack’s place. On the drive over, Robby gets a text from Jack saying that he may be a bit late and for Robby to use the spare key.
Robby brings you into Jack’s place and sets your bag by Jack’s bed. You mention that it’s been a long day and that you want to shower. You fully expect Robby to give you a kiss and leave but he doesn’t. He decides to follow you in the bathroom where he helps you undress. The process takes longer than normal as every time you shed a layer Robby insists on kissing the newly exposed space (not that you mind).
After Robby gets the shower just the right temperature, he goes to pick up your clothes from the floor and grab your bag to find the lotion you like to use after showering.
Jack comes home, walks into his bedroom, and finds Robby going through your bag. “She in the shower?”
“Yeah. Just got in a few minutes ago. I’m trying to find the lotion she uses. She just throws things in the bag.” Robby says as he rummages through the duffle bag.
“I bought some to keep here. It’s in the linen closet in the bathroom.”
Robby puts the bag on the ground about to head back into the bathroom, Jack asks him if he’s going to stay over. They’ve never done that before and it takes a moment for Robby to register what Jack said.
“You want me to stay?”
Jack shrugs. “Yeah. It’s getting late and it looks like it’s going to storm soon, so you might as well.”
“Yeah. Sure. I’ll sleep in the guest room.”
Jack’s about to say something when they hear the shower turn off. Both men walk into the bathroom.
“Jack! I’ve missed you.” You’re happy to see him. You open the shower door dripping wet about to hug him. Jack takes the towel from the hook nearby and drys you off.
“I’ve missed you too angel.” He kisses your forehead before wrapping you in the towel.
Robby opens the linen closet and finds your lotion. You give him a quick kiss as he hands you the bottle. “I’m surprised you’re still here.”
Jack grabs a brush from a drawer and starts to brush your wet hair. “He’s going to stay the night with us sweetheart.”
“Really?” You glance at both men. This arrangement that you’ve had for the last couple of months has never included both men at the same time (not just sexually but they’re rarely with you at the same time).
Robby nods his head to say that yes he is staying the night.
Both men leave you to finish getting ready. After a few minutes you emerge from the bathroom dress in one of Jack’s shirts and a pair of underwear. You hear Robby and Jack talking in the next room. You can’t make out what they’re saying and they stop once they see you.
You sit in between them in the couch. You’re a bit unsure and anxious and on what to do next. Normally it’s just one of them with you, but now having both you’re not sure who to focus on.
“I can hear you thinking sweetheart.” Jack kisses your temple. “It’s just us, no need to be anxious.”
“I know. It’s just normally you’re both not right here.” You fidget with the hem of the shirt.
Robby puts his hand on your thigh. “Nothing to be worried about baby. I know our arrangement is a bit unorthodox. We’re just lucky that we found you and that you don’t mind spending time with us two old men.”
“Speak for yourself.” Jack says.
You let out a short laugh and relax a bit more. Jack puts on a movie and Robby opens up a blanket for the three of you to share. You’re actually watching the movie for the first half hour. That is until Robby starts tracing circles on your thigh underneath the blanket. You try to ignore it but his fingers keep getting high.
Robby starts to trace the outline of your underwear. He becomes a little more bold and explores more, finding a damp patch. He presses his middle finger to the wet spot causing you to squirm a little.
Jack pauses the movie. “Robby teasing you sweetheart?”
“Yes.”
Robby smirks at you. “You like it though if your soaked underwear has anything to say about it.”
You shoot a bit of a glare at Robby. “Tonight is Jack’s night.”
Jack brings takes your chin and moves it toward him. “Why don’t you show me what you and Robby normally do.”
You glance back at Robby before looking at Jack. Is he really asking you to be with Robby while he watches you? Jack sensing your hesitation maneuvers you so that you’re straddling Robby. Robby takes a piece of your hair and moves it behind your ear. “Nothing to be anxious about. Just focus on me and let me make you feel good. Jack is just watching, maybe he’ll pick up on a few things.”
Jack lets out a short laugh.
Robby starts kissing you as his hands travel under your shirt to grope your breasts. It’s not long before you start rolling your hips over his growing erection. Robby takes your shirt off tossing it behind the couch. His lips find your collar bone before traveling to your chest and giving attention to your nipples. You tug on his neck causing him to groan. Robby lifts his hips up for a moment to pull his pants and underwear down before pulling your underwear to the side.
“Ready baby?”
You nod. “Want you, Robby.”
He pulls you down on him, giving you a moment to adjust before moving your hips. “Fuck. You feel so good. Won’t last long with how much you’re squeezing me baby.”
You start to feel the tingle indicating that you’re almost there. “Don’t stop. Please. Almost there.” You gasp out with each thrust.
“I got you” Robby changes the angle, making you moan his name. He takes a couple of fingers and presses down on your clit, pushing you over the edge. Robby follows you a second later.
Once you regain the ability to think, you notice that Jack is walking back from the bathroom with a wash cloth and a glass of water for you. “Let’s get you cleaned up sweetheart.” He helps you stand and gives you the water to drink, as he takes his time wiping you down. Robby takes your empty glass and goes to put it in the sink.
Jack gives you a quick sweet kiss. “You gotta pee and then we’ll get you in bed.” He leads you down the hall with Robby following behind.
Once you’re done in the bathroom and come out, you see Robby sprawled out on the king bed and Jack undoing his pants before lying down. Jack pats the spot next to him on the bed. You crawl up on the bed making your way over.
As you get closer to the head of the bed, Robby sits up and motions for you to come to him. You go to sit on his lap. “Let’s make sure Jack has a good night too baby. I’ll help.” He gives you a kiss and a tap on your ass.
You make your way to Jack, who is laying on his back with his hands behind his head. Robby moves to closer to Jack and puts his hands on his chest before moving down. He looks at Jack as if asking for permission. Jack nods and Robby’s hand closes over over Jack’s dick, making both men moan. You straddle over Jack with Robby gripping Jack’s dick and he guides it thru your wet folds. He notches Jack’s dick at your entrance causing Jack to clench his teeth.
“Alright biiig stretch here baby.” Robby guides your hips down so that your flush with Jack.
You suck in a breath from the intrusion. Robby brings his hand to your clit to give it a few rubs. “Shhh. Just relax. I know he’s big. You’re doing so good.”
“You look so pretty on top of me sweetheart. You’re taking me so well.” Jack finally moves his hands to grip your waist.
Robby goes to move his hands away from your clit but Jack keeps it there. “She likes us both touching her, don’t you baby?”
All you’re able to do is nod. You start to roll your hips as Robby runs figure eights along your clit. You throw your head back and unintelligible words fall from your lips.
Robby places his hand in the middle of your shoulder blades to lower you closer to Jack. His other hand goes to cup the underside of your breast while he presents it to Jack’s mouth. “Give Jack a taste.”
Jack wraps his lips around your nipple, gently teasing it with his tongue before sucking. He makes sure to give your other breast attention too. Robby moves to the other side of the bed to get a better view.
It’s too much attention all at one, you clamp down on Jack. “Jack!”
Jack grabs your ass with both hands and starts to thrust harder. He removes his mouth from your breast with a pop. “That’s it angel. I feel you fluttering on me. You going to cum for me, huh?”
“Y-Yes!”
“Go on then. I want to feel you.”
Your orgasm rushes over you, causing tears in your eyes. You clamp down on Jack causing him to spill inside you.
Jack holds you to his chest as you both come back to reality. Robby rolls you over after a few minutes and cleans you up before helping you to the bathroom.
When you lay back in bed, between these two men, you are the happiest and most content that you’ve ever been.
“Can we do this again?” You ask.
“If you’re talking about tonight, I don’t think we have it in us.” Robby says as he turns the lamp off.
“I just mean at some point. I think you both ruined my ability to walk tomorrow so I’m thinking we just snuggle the rest of the night.”
“Sounds perfect to me.” Jack puts his arm around you to bring you closer to him. “And yes sweetheart, we can do this again.”
Summary: some filthy, nasty pervy boyfriends dads Rabbot thoughts that stemmed from me melting outside tanning in this current heatwave
(Jesus forgive me for i have fantasized about them eating younger pussy... Again.)
Warnings?: 18+ content including taboo relationships (boyfriends dads rabbot) they're pervy here, age gaps, potential dubcon depending how you view it (though it was written with drunk reader in mind!!) alcohol, mentions of intoxication, fem!reciveing oral, pussy pronouns, fingering, nipple play, overstimulation, one single robby referring to himself as daddy moment aaaand an 18+ twitter link! think thats it but feel free to correct me!!
Thinking many thoughts about this little clip and just how rabbot coded it is.
Maybe even, and walk with me here, boyfriends dads rabbot.
Maybe you’re staying with your boyfriend for a little while over summer break. Maybe some of those days said boyfriend still has tennis or perhaps soccer training meaning he's out for the majority of the morning/early afternoon.
And on those days, the only people still home just so happens to be his two hot, older dads.
You get along, always have since you first met the pair, but that doesn't quell the fuzzy feeling in your gut whenever they interact with you.
The pair find it endearing really, the way you'll slip sometimes, calling them Mr Abbot and Mr Robinavitch instead of Jack and Robby (or Micheal if you'd prefer it). You struggle to keep eye contact with them too, even more so when you trip your words up when responding to questions about yourself. Your degree, your hobbies, what you enjoy to eat, hell, they'll even how your relationship is going with their boy- they're just interested thats all!
But the thing that gets both Jack and Robby chubbing up in their pants like perverted old bastards the most?
How you've spent your time bouncing around the Robinavitch-Abbot household in what must be the skimpest of summer clothes. That bikini that barely covers your tits as you soak up the sun in their garden, or the denim shorts that hardly hides the line of your panties as you sit on the couch reading.
Theres guilt, of course there is, the pair of them perving over their sons girlfriend. But not nearly enough to make them stop thinking about you in ways they shouldn't be. Like how wet you get when worked up or how beautiful your body must be truly bare.
Robby always thinks your lips would look stretched around the girth of them, while Jack ponders the perfect whines you'd let free as you cum.
Its after a long day of sunbathing does everything finally come to a head though
Your skin glistens with a mix of sunscreen and sweat, heart thudding in your chest from the heat. You're boyfriends gone again, has been all day, leaving you, Jack and Robby at home soaking in the summer sun in the backyard.
At lunch you learnt Jack knows a thing or two about making cocktails, by almost dinner you're pretty confident he's got a mean pour.
The world floats by as you lounge on a chair, watching Robby stood by the grill cooking steaks with his own sweating beer. The glass on the table next to you half full, your.. Fourth? Maybe third? Fruity Margarita abandoned as you giggle about something that feels funnier than it is.
Thats the last thing you properly remember- the gruff laughter, the sundrunk haze, Jack and Robby drinking, grilling and hosting like regular older men.
When your eyes blink open again (did you shut them on purpose or did they flutter without you knowing?) the scene is vastly different.
Grey curls sit messily between your plush thighs, hazel eyes peering up lustblown and dark. It hits you then, the intense pleasure of a skilled mouth lapping and lavishing your pussy.
Its hot, wet, perfect and utterly wrong all in one, legs desperate to close around the older mans ears to little avail. Jacks big hands hold you open though, palms flat on your inner thighs, panties of your bathing suit crooked to the side and held steady by two thick fingers.
Your back arches from the lounger, a ragged, breathless gasp ripping from your heaving chest. "O-oh my god!"
The tongue flicks playfully against your clit, before plump lips suckle lewdly, a voice you recognize as Robbys chucking as he sits crouched beside you. "Mm, not quite sweetheart. You wanna that try again?"
The moan breaks with your voice, a hand flying down to those mused salt and pepper curls, tangling tight. "J-jack oh f-fuckk"
"Yeahhh, There you go" he grins wolfish, "s' he makin you feel good kid?"
The nod is jerky, the response even more so. Your hips bump up despite Jack's grip, brain unsure if to run or relish in the overwhelming feeling between your legs; at how fuckig wrong it is to let it continue. "M-mphm y-yeah"
Jack offers some reprive just a moment, unlatching his mouth for just a moment to gravel out "Got you squirmin like no ones done this before, s' our boy holdin out on you honey?"
The question only serves as a reminder these men are your boyfriends fathers, men decades older than you and him. Its wrong, sick, absolutely fucking vile to do to the man you love.. But fuck, his dads devouring you like your sloppy, slick pussy is the only thing left on earth to sustain him. Hes licking you with experience that only comes from enjoyment, suckling like every gasp and whine gives him air.
But in this moment, your hot. Hazy. Utterly drunk of bliss. So you mewl out the truth, jerking your hips to hump at Jack's face like the pleasures the only thing that will keep you alive. "M-mhm.. Says he.. He doesnt like it- fucking shit- that s' not enjoyable-"
"Doesn't like eatin this pretty pussy up, Christ, where'd we go wrong mi- mphmn" Jack murmers incredulous again your folds, stubble rubbing a heavenly kind of pain on your most intimate of areas, fumed point cut off by Robby reaching over a hand that pushes his partner back into your pussy so tight its a wonder he's able to breathe.
"Shhh jack, jus' keep goin. Shes gettin close huh honey?" Robby grins, hand sliding beneath the cups of your bikini top. Your nipples pert and tight as his calloused thumb offers a delightful friction. "Sides, we've gotta correct that bullshit ourselves hm, apologize to that sweet little pussy for everything she's been missin"
Your head is thrown back, hair mused against the chair, your body quivering as the bliss only draws tighter in your gut. Your eyes struggle to stay open between the now setting sun and the onslaught of pleasure. Those plush, still glistening thighs tremble against Jack's touch, one of his hands sliping down to press one, then two, thick digits inside.
You can feel the cool edge of his wedding band bump your hole with each slickened drive, every curl managing to rub at your g spot in a way that only pushes you closer to crumbling.
Then, as quick as Jack's mouth had appeared at your pussy, another sensation has your spine arching almost painfully. Robbys somehow pushed the cup of your top to the side, mouth hot on your skin, his own tongue flicking and teasing at your nipple. His peppered beard making you shake as it rubs your skin with every move he makes.
Its that combo that sends you over the edge with a wail of their names so perfect their chubbed up cocks throb and leak inside the confines of shorts now way too tight. It takes your breath away near violently, the orgasm hitting you so hard you're almost convinced you'll never come back down.
They both keep it up until tears slip down your cheeks, until you're pushing them off and your body is overwhelmingly sensitive. Blood thunders in your ears, hazing over the praise the pair murmer to you.
Jack rises with a groan, shuffling himself forward to meet your mouth in a messy, filthy kiss. You can taste yourself on his tongue, feel the dampness on his stubble, letting yourself drown in the dopamine a moment longer before you know you'll have to address everything that's just happened..
That is, until hot breath fans over your twitching clit the same but different, you're eyes wide as you dart between Robby who you didn't even realise had moved and Jack.
Robby grins wolfish again, shuffled between your shaking thighs, a large hand pressing on your still heaving belly. Your eyes must look like saucers, lips pouty and bitten raw, peering down with the most doe- like expression.
"Nawh whats that look for?" he coos, pitiful and mocking, inhaling the sweet, musky scent of you in a way that makes your insided lurch. "S'it too much t' take sweetheart? Two old men wantin to lick your sweet pussy?"
"mhm.." you mewl, hand reaching blindly for the loungers edge- for Jack and some semblance of safety. "R-robby please..cant.."
The chuckle is mean, a rumble you feel in the deepest parts of you, hips shifting preemptively to little avail. Robbys gaze drops, as does his wiry haired jaw, his sentiment cut between a broken moan and the envelopement of your puffy clit into the cavern of his mouth.
"Ah ah, no cant n' no runnin.. You'll manage, cause Daddy's got some apologizing left to do; poor little thing.

when your boyfriends get held up in the ER—jack leaving for night shift and robby getting stuck with him after day—you can’t help but squirm waiting for their return. robby should have been here already and jack had just left, so you were completely alone in the house, and left to entertain yourself.
luckily for you, jack had bought you a little wand to help you when they were away. robby had been a little opposed to the idea at first but relented in favor of your puppy eyes and jack’s persuasion. that being said, you decided to take matters into your own hands by playing with your toy.
only you’d forgotten to ask for permission.
you weren’t too far into your solo session when the two of them entered the house. you hadn’t heard the sound of them discussing their patients or the latest work drama as you were too busy working your fingers inside your pussy, the wand buzzing against your aching clit.
“yeah, so gloria thinks—“ robby was saying as he pushed the door open to your bedroom, jack in tow. he cut himself off when he caught sight of you. “holy shit.”
“well, would you look at that,” jack smirked as he leaned against the doorframe, crossing his arms.
you paused instantly and covered yourself with the comforter, sitting up in bed with heated cheeks and messy hair. any effort to hide what you’d been doing was definitely futile now.
“robby! j- jack, i—“
“looks like someone’s misbehaving,” robby tsked as jack approached the bed. you automatically pulled the covers even tighter, shielding yourself from view. “told you not to get her that wand.”
“ah-ah, sweetheart, let daddy see,” jack chided.
you pouted at him but did as you were told, timidly pulling the covers down to reveal your weeping pussy, the wand slotted between your thighs.
“poor baby. got so needy without us, huh?” jack cooed. you nodded with a small whimper.
“oh, please,” robby practically scoffed. he walked up behind jack and stared at you, crossing his arms. “she knows better. don’t you, baby?”
“i—“
“don’t listen to your dad. he’s just pissed he had to stay late,” jack said, ever the softer of the two. “now, let’s get you taken care of, huh?”
robby chuckled, but it lacked real amusement. “yeah, right. how about punished?”
Summary: Things aren't much better as Robby decides to confront you which leads to an even worse confrontation and cruel words being said while Jack takes a step back. All seems to be okay until tragedy hits and a moment you, Robby and Jack will never forget occurs

You didn’t say anything and you knew Robby wanted you to, he wanted a reaction. He wanted you to go after him but that was done. You held Jack’s arm and shook your head “Let him be, chances are if you try to go talk to him he’ll just push you away”
Jack nodded “Okay”
“I don’t think we should’ve kissed” you admitted “No offense of course”
“Non taken” he held his hands up “I saw the chance and took it, that being said…can I take you out sometime ? Maybe this weekend ?”
Chuckling you rubbed your arm and finally nodded after a bit “Okay, can it be Sunday though ? College gameday is Saturday and my friends are in from college and they really want to go”
“Sunday it is,” Jack nodded with a smile “You wanna pick or you want me to pick ?”
“You pick dinner and I pick dessert” you grinned “Deal ?”
“Deal, let’s shake on it” he offered his hand to you
You reached and shook it, lingering a little longer than usual as you took in his features. His hair was greying more at the temples but it was still full of curls, his skin perfectly freckled as if it had personally been kissed the sun and his eyes resembled emerald jewels that caught the perfect shine under the moonlight
“Uh, do I have dinner on my teeth ?” he asked softly “That damn caesar salad, I knew it”
“No, no. You’re fine” you shook your head “Sorry, I doze off”
He sighed softly “I think you should maybe go talk to him, I think he wants you to”
“Well I don’t” you shook your head “This is not the time or place and quite frankly I think he’s the one who made it pretty clear. If anything maybe it’s best we don’t talk”
“Okay” Jack nodded as he put his suit jacket over your shoulders “Let’s head back inside, gonna be over in a bit anyways. Gameday should be fun, I went a couple years back and it was cool”
“If I get too fucked up can I call you ?” you met his eyes
“Preferably before you get shit faced” he winked
Back inside the event was finally coming to an end. You said your goodbyes to the board members, hugged your father when he congratulated you on the overwhelmingly positive response to your designs and promised Jack you'd text him when you got home
He had been reluctant to let you leave alone, insisting on walking you downstairs despite your teasing that he was becoming annoying as can be
"Occupational hazard," he laughed before hesitating a bit and pressing a kiss to your forehead outside the elevators “See you tomorrow, get some rest”
“See you” you grinned
The hotel lobby was beginning to empty when you made your way outside to the valet stand. The cool air felt nice for it being summer, you looked back when you heard footsteps and sighed looking ahead to see if your car was almost back
“Ignoring me” Robby nodded “Funny”
“There’s nothing comical when it comes to you Michael” you answered back
“You know I tried to talk to you and you didn’t let me, instead you’re shacking up with Jack now. Who does that ?”
“Not that I owe you an explanation but no, I am not…shacking up with Jack whatever that old fucking phrase means and second of all, you’re quite literally here with Noelle, so what exactly is your deal ?” you sighed “Honestly it’s been a night and this weekend is gonna be busy”
“Yeah because going to some football game is such a hard job” he scoffed
“Here we fucking go, you know what go back inside. I’m tired and I wanna go home” you sighed
“Do you like him more than you liked me ?” he asked suddenly
Rubbing your forehead you shook your head “Michael, go inside. Go back with Noelle please.”
“She left” Robby answered “And can you please call me Robby, Michael is what my mother used to call me and that’s not really what I want to be referred as right now”
“Please do not, do NOT bring up your mommy issues right now” you snapped back sternly
“You know what ? Forget it, I’m out. Have a good night with Abbott, make sure you do that thing you do with your mouth on his dick, I’m sure he’ll love that” Robby looked you in the eye
You weren’t a violent person but in that moment you stepped forward and slapped him across the face as hard as you could “Fuck all the way off and get therapy you weird, manipulative piece of shit”
“You’re fucking insane” he rubbed his cheek “Batshit insane”
“At least I can actually admit it and don’t have to go around being some asshole” you responded calmly “I’m not the one going on some suicide mission because I can’t accept help. I’m not the one being cruel to colleagues simply because I can’t handle the fact that maybe just maybe they care about me. That’s you and truth be told, maybe it’s time you walk the walk instead of doing all the talk because quite frankly you acting like a martyr is just getting old and annoying. Face your demons or get on with life Michael”
“What the fuck do you know about life ? What do you know about hardship ? Nothing !” he exclaimed “Not a damn thing !”
“Oh here we fucking go” you threw your purse on the floor “It’s not my fault that I was born into privilege and I’m not gonna stand here and let you of all fucking people berate me for it. Yes my parents have money, yes I went to amazing private schools and an amazing private university and got to travel all over the world on their dime and had really special opportunities most people my age don’t. But you know what ? That’s what happens when two people get together and have a child they actually wanted. That’s what happens when a child is loved and doted on, they get spoiled”
You shook your head and picked your purse back up after a while of silence and let out a sigh “I am sincerely sorry you were dealt with a rough hand in your upbringing but you cannot, you will not” you met his gaze “Use that to project all your anger and insecurities on me. I was your friend, before we hooked up we were friends, genuine friends. You encouraged me to be uncomfortable with things, to face my discomforts and then you wanted sex when you realized you couldn’t just be my friend. You’re the one who pursued me to no end, who laid next to me in bed after that first night and told me how being with me was the only time you felt peace, then you wanna turn around and paint me out to be some whore when you’re the one sleeping around ? Which one is it, Michael ? What am I ? Am I some whore who sleeps around or am I the girl who gave you peace ?”
For once Robby was speechless, you didn’t see him like that ever. He always had a response to everything, good or bad. It sucked that things had to get to this level but quite frankly you were tired of it. His hot and cold demeanor had you at your wits end, especially when he chose to bring it up during a night that should’ve been special for everyone at the hospital
“Nothing” you whispered as your car was brought in “Just as I assumed. Stay away from me and don’t say a word to Jack. Weirdly enough he still cares about you when you don’t give a rats ass about him”
Driving back to your apartment felt like hell. Robby deserved every bit of the tongue lashing you had given him yet the pit in your stomach told you otherwise. You pushed it out of your mind the best you could as you got ready for bed and thought about the weekend, knowing it’d be the perfect distraction you needed
Saturday- Gameday
Saturdays were always statistically the worst day for the emergency department, Robby wasn’t superstitious at all but the day had been weirdly calm. It was nearing 4 pm and things had been surprisingly normal as far as the level of patients they had. He was in the middle of sipping his coffee when he saw Dana walk towards him
“Ready to go home ?” she asked
“Sure” he shrugged “Been up since 4 so I might need a nap”
Dana had known him for years, way too long. He had just finished his residency at Big Charity hospital when he had first gotten to PTMC, the first day on the job he had met her and soon realized she’d be his life long friend. She was upfront and honest while still staying kind after more than 20 years as a nurse and seeing things that he still couldn’t deal with properly
He watched as her phone rang abruptly, her face changing as she hung up and looked up at him “What’s wrong ?”
“Set up triage, there’s an incident and we’re gonna have a lot of hurt people coming in” she said “Let’s go”
“What happened ?” he asked concerned walking back inside with her
“There’s been a shooting at the local college” Dana informed him “I don’t know how many are hurt but they said the shooter’s still at large and police are coming to make sure we’re safe. Let everyone know”
Robby felt his stomach drop and shook his head as he stopped walking and leaned against the wall “She’s…she’s at gameday”
“Who ?” Dana asked confused, suddenly realizing who he meant “Call her right now, please”
He took out his phone with shaking hands and quickly found your contact as he dialed, letting out shaky breaths in between each ring only for it to go to voicemail. He rubbed his forehead and sighed “She’s not answering”
“She’s probably fine” Dana said softly “She knows what to do”
Robby dialed your number again and again, he sent you text messages that weren’t delivering and you weren’t responding, he did so repeatedly until it was starting to take a toll on him
He had no time to calm himself down before cars began pulling in with bloodied victims who were crying and writhing in pain, he along with the others did the best they could in stabilizing them and assigning them to the appropriate triage station. When he saw Jack pull in he walked over and pulled him aside
“Please tell me you’ve talked to her” he whispered “Please”
“No” Jack whispered, shaking his head “She won’t answer a text or call, I’m just…I’m just hoping all is well and it probably is man, just…just think positive okay ? Everything's gonna be okay”
“Okay” Robby agreed “You’re-You’re right”
He moved back outside to help unload more patients when he heard your voice and quickly rushed over
“They’re all stable” you panted holding a teenage girl in your lap “Get in quick, she stopped responding to me and I did my best to control her bleeding, she was cohesive and breathing just a few minutes ago”
Robby nodded and quickly got a gurney and had the others take her inside, he watched as you wasted no time and helped carry every other person onto a stretcher “Hey…your shirt…you need one”
You looked down at yourself in your bralette “I took off my shirt and ripped it to makeshift bandages for people who were bleeding, get me a top, anything”
“You’re not a doctor you can’t help, you need to-”
“I know how to stabilize wounds, I know how to insert IV’s, I can do stitches and I can keep people distracted. You guys are short nurses and doctors and they’re not gonna let them come by this way because the shooter still hasn’t been found. I can help Robby, I can do this” you met his eyes
“Go inside and get scrubs, you do not go inside any surgery room and you only help in cases that are non fatal. You stick by Whitaker and Santos and check in for everything it is that you need to do, is that understood ?”
“Understood” you said back going to change quickly
“Take her boyfriend with you” he said softly when you got back “Please”
You put your arm around the teenage boy and helped him out until you got him in a wheelchair “Come on, we just gotta clean you up and get you stitched up, call your mom while I do this”
“But…But I need to be with her” he whispered “Take me to her, please”
“She’s with a really good doctor” you said softly “He’s the best of the best and she’s in good hands, don’t worry about her”
How you were able to get him to calm down, you didn’t know but somehow it had worked. When his mother got there you left him in her care, accepting her sudden hug and assuring her you’d see them again. You made your way to the cafeteria that had turned into the waiting room full of concerned family members and friends who were looking for their loved ones. Your head turned towards the children that were with them, all with wide eyes and scared looks as they huddled in the furthest corner of the room focusing on one ipad
“Hey, Dennis….do we still have that abandoned wing on the 8th floor ?” you asked
“We do” he looked up “Should I transfer some patients up there ? I can get some beds ready if you give me like 10 minutes”
“Actually it’s not for patients” you shook your head “Go take some beds up there along the old tv’s and kids videotapes that are stored away up in the hospital storage room. We’re gonna take the kids up there. I’m gonna go get juice and snacks from the cafeteria and I’m gonna print out some coloring pages and grab some crayons. They can stay up there away from all this chaos and we can have a nurse and a security guard up there with them to make sure they’re safe while the families of the victims and patients wait to hear what their status is”
“That’s really smart” he said softly with a nod “I’ll get to it quick, I’ll be back soon”
“And Dennis ?” you looked at him “Make sure to get your things and put them in the lounge, once it’s time to go home you can crash at mine. I’ve got an extra room that is all yours”
With that you spotted Jack and practically speed walked over to him, sighing softly when he looked you over and pet your cheek
“You didn’t answer calls or texts, what the fuck ?” he whispered
“My phone died” you said quietly “When it all….when it all started I was buying a water bottle and the cashier had me and everyone else who was in line get behind the counter. After about 5 minutes it was silent but when we got out bodies were everywhere, I couldn’t just leave them there so I did what my dad had taught me years ago. I stabilized those who could and jumped in a truck with them to here”
“Are you hurt ?” he asked, concerned “Did they check you over ?”
“I’m fine” you answered “I’m fine, I promise. I just wanted to see if I could donate blood. I heard Dana say they’re down O-neg and that’s me”
“Go” he nodded “I’ll find in a bit”
You felt like adrenaline was running through your veins as you made your way to a nurse and took a seat as your blood got drawn, chewing on granola bar she had given you to keep up your energy
On the other side was Robby who was simply looking at you, daydreaming in a way to distract himself from the utter chaos that was going on around him. He looked over at Jack who was doing the same thing he was. Both of them were looking in your direction and you were too focused to ever notice
“Call it” a nurse suddenly interrupted his thoughts “She’s gone, we couldn’t get the pulse back”
“What ?” Robby whispered “She has a pulse, I just heard it” he took the machine and moved it towards her neck “It was just there, she had one”
“Robby we don’t have time for this” Jack said gently “You spent over half an hour giving her chest compressions, she’s gone”
“She’s 16 and healthy ! I heard her fucking pulse !” Robby snapped “I heard it, it was strong ! It was there ! Start compressions again”
“She’s gone” Jack repeated “She’s gone and we’re gonna hand her over and move on to someone else that needs us so she can be placed in peds where the makeshift morgue is an”
He felt his skin crawl at the mention of the peds room and shook his head “You….you’re putting dead bodies in the peds room ?”
“It’s all we have man” Jack responded gently “I know it’s bad and I know that’s where….that’s where he last-”
“Don’t” Robby pointed a finger at him “Don’t fucking mention him. Do not fucking bring his name up”
You turned your head towards the now noticeable yelling in the corner and quickly got up for your chair, making your way and taking Robby’s arm gently in your hold “Dr.Robby…you’re needed somewhere else” you lied, giving a look at Jack who nodded in approval
You didn’t make much distance before Robby shook you off and walked away in the opposite direction, knowing it’d just be more drama you let him go and went back to Jack
“He’s upset that we’re putting bodies in peds” he let you know “That’s where Adamson was, where he passed away”
“Oh god” you whispered “I only had met him a handful of times when I was a kid but he was always so kind, my father started his residency here around the time Adamson was still an attending so he knew him for years. I never knew Robby was….was here during covid. I was still in college then”
“Robby’s the one who stayed with him” Jack nodded “He would spend all day with other patients but after his shift ended he’d stay in that peds room with Adamson, sometimes sleeping there. He loved him, he worshiped him and one day someone else needed a machine. It was down to helping a little girl or keeping Adamson on the machine, he knew the chance of Adamson getting better was nonexistent but it still hurt him. The kid and Adamson both didn’t end up making it…that hurt him more than anything”
“I…I didn’t know” you whispered
“If you weren’t here around that time chances are you’d never know, only a few of the residents and Dana know and now you” he said softly
Suddenly everything made sense but you were left with no time to digest it as more and more people kept coming, some stable that just needed you to stitch or bandage them up and some that needed more than what you could handle
“We need Robby” you said to Dennis as he helped you take off your gloves “Any idea where he’s at ?”
“I saw him walk down the hall but haven’t seen him since” he shook his head
“He’s probably taking a piss or sitting on that stupid motorcycle” you sighed “I’ll go find him”
Deep down you were grateful to take a breather, you had been going nonstop and you knew somehow when your father found out that he’d be proud. You also knew your mother would push the idea of you going to nursing school and doing what she dreamed of you doing but for now your focus was finding Robby
You walked and peeked into the lounge and bathrooms, stopping when you spotted him sitting down with his chest to his knees rocking back and forth in the peds room. This wasn’t what you could handle, this wasn’t what you wanted to see. You debated calling Jack or maybe even someone from psych but you knew he’d hate for you that so instead you gently opened the door and walked in and heard him quietly chanting
Shema, Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echad
Baruch shem kevod malchuto le'olam va'ed
He was repeating it over and over as he covered his face, not even realizing you were in the room with him. You didn’t want to scare him so you stood in the corner quietly giving him some time as he continued to do it over and over finally going to next to him and offering your hand
“Hey…I found you” you lied “Come on, they need you”
Robby looked up at you and shook his head “I’ll have Abbott and Shen handle it, I can’t do it”
“Okay…okay then come with me somewhere else” you said softly “Come on, let’s get you out of this gown and gloves”
Surprisingly he did as told and allowed you to remove them, he looked at you as you dabbed his cheeks with the back of your hand and fixed his hair “You gotta look presentable where we’re going, we got critics” you tried to joke
He looked confused but followed as you both went in the elevator and headed towards the 8th floor, his face softening when he saw the ward filled with beds and blankets and pillows on the floor with kids watching some old disney movie on the tv’s he hadn’t seen in years
“Who did this ?” he whispered
“She did” a security guard grinned at you “They’re not as nervous or scared anymore, parents can focus on their family members and it’s all good and secure. Perlah just left but she’ll be back too”
“I figured it’d help the kids not feel as stressed” you nodded as you cleared your throat “Hey guys, remember how I said I’d bring a doctor ? This is…my friend, his name is Dr.Robby and he’s been helping make all your family members and friends all better” you smiled “Can you all say thank you to Dr.Robby ?”
“Thank you Docta Wobby !” the group of toddlers and little kids all said at the same time
“That was so sweet, can you guys show Dr.Robby what you guys made for him ?” you grinned
Robby felt his vision get cloudy as one child took it upon herself and held up a large piece of construction paper full of handprints and scribbles “This for you”
“Oh” he whispered taking it “Thank you, how nice”
“You welcome” she grinned big and hugged his legs
For a moment Robby froze and then gently patted her back with a small grin “I need to….get back to helping people but thank you for this” he held up the paper “I will put it in my desk so I can see it every day”
“Everyone say bye bye, keep being good for Mr.Ahmed and Ms.Perlah please, let’s be good listeners as well when we go home” you waved them goodbye and walked back out with Robby “They had been asking if they could see a cool doctor who saves lives and I knew just the right person for the job” you said softly “You ready to back out there ?”
“Yeah…Yeah I am” he nodded “Thanks for that…do you think maybe we could talk after tonight ? Really talk ?”
“I think that’s a good idea” you agreed “For now you go do what you need to do and I’m gonna make sure everyone in the cafeteria has seen their family and friends”
Reaching up you kissed his cheek, not because you wanted to give him an idea that there was a chance with you but because he needed some gentleness. He needed to know someone was looking out for him and his wellbeing even with all the bullshit from the other night. You walked away and made your way towards the triage where Jack was standing with a blood IV attached to his leg
“You shouldn’t be donating” you chastised “Jack seriously ?”
“What I’m O-neg ?” he shrugged “I’m good, I had a good breakfast and I’m hydrated. I’m perfectly fine to donate some blood”
“Yeah you’re sweating” you shook your head and grabbed a nearby towel as you dabbed his forehead “Take a seat please, things look to be like everything is now mostly wound care and not as many critical patients so take a breather”
“Only because you say so” he sighed and did as told, sitting with you as he looked around “I got scared when you weren’t getting back to me”
“I’m sorry” you apologized
“No need to say sorry, it wasn’t on you” Jack murmured “You alright ?”
You nodded “I’m not bleeding or injured, no cuts or bruises”
“That’s not what I mean” he looked into your eyes “Are you okay ?”
“I will be” you assured him leaning on his shoulder “You okay ?”
He shrugged “Eventually I will be but for now….this shit is terrifying.”
“They haven’t caught the person who did it, my dad texted me how when he got here to scrub in that it was chaos on the streets” you nodded “Shooter is still out there hiding somewhere”
He wrapped an arm around your shoulders and kissed your head “Don’t think about that, we’re safe. We’re gonna stay safe and be okay. Things are getting better”
You wanted to believe him, you wanted to take in his comfort but truth be told you were scared out of your mind. Every time a car pulled in or someone else walked in the emergency room you felt yourself tense up terrified they were a shooter. Your direction turned to Robby who was outside with Dr.Shen and Ellis as you heard a car screech in and watched as Robby pushed them behind him
“Gun !” he called out loudly as he shielded them
You didn’t have time to react as Jack quickly protected you and put his arms around you protectively while police quickly went over to the car and took out the driver, only to realize he was also a police officer who had been injured
“Safe, all good” they called “All clear”
“Your leg…” you whispered to him “Jack your leg, you’re crushing it”
He realized how his leg was positioned and shook his head “It’s…it’s a prosthetic, I-I lost it back during combat”
“I..I didn’t know” you shook your head “I’m sorry”
“Don’t be sorry for something you didn’t know” he quickly fixed it and got up, offering you a hand “I’ll tell you all about it at dinner tomorrow”
You chuckled taking it and smoothing out your jeans “Oh man well in that case pick somewhere really good”
“Watch out, Gloria’s back” he whispered, abruptly turning you around “She’s pissed that we took blood donations without properly screening”
“No one was around to properly screen, it was mostly other doctors and nurses and the small number of family members that are here. We took their word for being clean and I don’t think they’d lie to us during a moment like this”
Like bad luck Gloria called over Robby and they got into it, you and Jack stood there acting distracted as they both went over safety protocols and procedures. Not once did she ever thank Robby for his efforts or tell him she understood why he approved certain orders, instead she complained and nagged until finally you had enough
“Gloria, people could’ve died” you looked at her “We could’ve had more dead bodies if it weren’t for Robby approving blood donations. Everyone donated and that’s the reason lives were saved today. Can we just drop it ?”
She shook her head “That’s not the point here, there are protocols that need to be measured for everyone’s health and safety and they weren’t followed. We just screened and tested some of blood we got and low and behold there’s a pregnancy”
“What-What type ?” you asked
“O-neg” Gloria sighed “Only two bags, they had this” she showed you the sticky note attached to it with your birthday and the time that you had labeled in case anything had gone wrong “the time written says it got donated about 3 hours ago, luckily we screened it and found that out so now I have to find out who donated blood while pregnant”
“Pregnant ?” Jack asked joining you guys “Who’s pregnant ?”
Robby said nothing as he looked at you and that was all it took for Jack to understand the situation. He didn’t react as he took Gloria aside and assured her he’d handle things, leaving you and Robby alone in the hallway
“You’re….”
He couldn’t even finish his sentence before he saw your eyes roll back and caught you just in time as you passed out

Part 2 now up here !
You sat up in your bed, sipping leftover wine you had in your glass from the previous night and watched as Robby hastily zipped up his pants muttering his usual daily complaints. You focused on the way his hands moved, the same hands that had been holding your hips just minutes before as he pounded deep inside of you grunting and panting while you cried out in pleasure. His hands were your favorite feature of his, they were large and slightly calloused and felt like the perfect fit anytime he gripped your wrists behind your back or held your neck
Much like his eyes, his hands told a story. The same hands that he used to fuck you were the ones he used in that hospital that you had grown to despise. Whether it was a gentle hand on a patient's back during a tough diagnosis, a reassuring handshake to a distressed family member or holding a patient's hand as they gave their last breath, his hands were always being used in some form
“I probably won’t see you for a bit” Robby spoke up as he put his shirt back on “I work 3 days straight and I’m gonna want a day to just sleep after I’m done”
“I can stop by and bring you lunch if you want me too” you offered
He simply sighed as he tied his shoe and turned his upper body towards you “Yeah that’s…that’s not gonna work anymore actually”
You looked at him slightly confused and chuckled “Uh I always bring you lunch on Wednesdays ? How else are you gonna eat ?”
“I didn’t wanna tell you this in this way” he said in a softer tone “I just think that maybe-”
“Just say it Michael” you sighed
“I think it’s best this stops” he admitted looking at you “I think you’re a great girl and you’re smart and truly it’s-”
“Not you it’s me” you finished for him with a slight grin “That what you’re going with ?”
Robby let out a sigh “It’s true in this case. You deserve a lot better than dinner here and there and hookups. I’m not in the good headspace to be able to offer you more than that and I think you should be able to explore your options and life way more than using it with me”
There wasn’t much to do or say other than agree because at the end of the day you and Robby were exactly just that, a hookup. A very quiet one being as your father was head of neuro at the hospital and Robby’s colleague, not exactly the ideal combo but it’s what made it just as exciting for you
“Well if that’s what you want then so be it” you shrugged as you picked up your dress from the floor and sighed “You left a cumstain on my dress Robinavitch, how am I supposed to wear this to go home ? This is Herve Leger, do you know who he is ?”
“Uh no. But I’ll give you something to wear” he said softly “Sorry about that”
“I don’t wanna wear your musty clothes thank you very much” you said as you put your bra and panties back on “Hand me my coat, I’ll put it on and call it a day”
“Just wear this” he handed you a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie
Rolling your eyes you took it and carefully folded your dress back into your purse “Well I guess this it, was a nice 7 weeks I won’t lie”
He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck “I just, I’m sorry. I wish something could be but seeing as circumstances are rough as is and you’re still young and have a lot of life to live it’s best to end it here. I still like you, you’re really smart and helpful and you help out a lot of patients with donations. You’ve got a good mind and heart”
“No need for the soft letdown here Robinavitch” you grinned “I’m very well aware of circumstances and that I’m pretty much a god given angel in that hospital”
“There she is” Robby laughed
“There’s no hard feelings” you said softly “And don’t worry…my dad won’t know a thing”
“Preferably not seeing as he could most likely ruin my career” he nodded “He’d be pretty pissed so let’s not even joke about that.”
Standing there in front of him felt different, he seemed more off than usual which already said a lot. You knew about Robby’s issues, it’s what had brought you two together in the first place. One night after you had been at the hospital to drop something off for your father, you had seen him upset and head to the roof where you followed and watched as he laid his stethoscope on the railing and simply looked down at the ground
Nothing had shaken you up so bad in your life until that moment and by some miracle you had interrupted what you now knew was his attempt. You knew he still wasn’t okay but he didn’t seem to want to talk about any of that, even when you’d bring it up as kindly as possible. He’d usually kiss you or initiate sex soon after and then it’d be forgotten in his mind but it was still clear in yours and you knew this would be your last shot to finally get the answer
“Michael, are you dumping me because you plan on killing yourself ?” you asked “Because if so, I think it’s time we…we get you some help. It doesn’t have to be at the hospital, I know doctors in other places. It can be private, it can be confidential”
The look on his face told you that you should have immediately taken it back but there was no going back now “Michael, answer me please”
“Are you fucking insane ?” Robby suddenly snapped at you “Seriously ? You think that just because I decided to stop this that I wanna kill myself ?”
You stayed calm and shrugged “It’s just a question, you haven’t answered me.”
“You and I aren’t anything, we were just hooking up. This wasn’t anything special or important” he motioned between you two “Whatever idea you had in your head throw it the fuck out. We hooked up a couple times, that’s all. It was never going to be anything more with you. Look at you and look at me okay ? Use that brain of yours for once and think”
“What is that supposed to mean ?” you suddenly asked “Say it, be a man for once”
“You’re spoiled” he threw his hands up and rubbed his face “My god you’re a fucking spoiled brat who lives off mommy and daddy’s money. You don’t even work at the hospital, your dad had to make you volunteer because he was tired of you doing nothing with your time. Your mother would come in to have lunch with him and I’d hear her tell him how you were just wasting your life and how she had bigger expectations for you. She was embarrassed and I don’t blame her one bit. You’re rude, you’re snobby and honestly you’re a bitch most of the time” he shook his head “You’re good in bed though and that’s what mattered to me the most.”
The last part was the most cruel thing you had ever heard but you couldn’t let it show. If Robby wanted to hurt you, you’d hurt him back. By the look of his face you could tell he knew he had taken it too far, in the 7 weeks of knowing him you knew his little quirks that would come out when he felt certain emotions.
Stress would make him self soothe such as cracking his hands or rubbing his thumb, anxiousness would make him touch his hair like crazy and whenever he felt like he was about to break down he’d zone out. His eyes would go blank but they’d water, his chest would heave heavily and he’d struggle to take a breath and regret consisted of him looking ahead with quiet breaths, something he was currently doing
He wasn’t foreign, he wasn’t this enigma he tried so hard to be perceived as. Michael Robinavitch was a man who wanted you but didn’t need you and while you knew that going into this, you didn’t expect him to be so cruel about it. Not when you genuinely wanted him to be okay and had grown to care about him more than you wanted to admit
“I’m glad you’re honest” you said simply with a nod “Honesty is the best policy, my mother taught me that but you wouldn’t know anything about that would you now ?”
You could’ve sworn you saw his eyes twitch slightly. His face paled and you could tell he was replaying your words over and over in his head. You had both said things that were too far but somehow now you were the bad guy
“What ? You’re the one who can be an asshole and call me a bitch and use my parents against me and slutshame me but I say one little thing and you wanna go all psycho on me ?” you scoffed crossing your arms “Yeah okay Robinavitch”
“Get your shit and get fuck out of my house” Robby whispered lowly “Now.”
“There is a bitch here and it’s clearly not me” you said back grabbing your bag
That was the last time you saw Robby until a week later when you stopped by the hospital to see your father for a meeting. You were in the middle of getting checked in when you spotted Robby talking to a case manager you had seen before a few times
“That’s Noelle” Cassie came up next to you “They’ve been flirting all morning, I was in the middle of it earlier and it was the most awkward shit I’ve ever had to live through. I felt like they were about to fuck right in front of me”
“Oh…uh I didn’t know they were involved” you said softly
“His new hospital honey” she nodded with an eye roll “I saw them making out last month and almost wanted to bleach my eyes”
“Last month ?” you asked slightly shocked
“By his motorcycle” she made a face “Day shift had just ended and it was dark, nastiest shit I’ve ever seen and keep in mind my ex is pretty up there in that category”
You managed to chuckle as calmly as you could, excusing yourself as you walked to the nurses desk and finally realized why Robby had been so weird with you…he already had someone lined up. By the looks of it Noelle was closer to his age, understood the profession and was truly quite beautiful. She was the perfect package for him and she was heading your way
“You’re Jonathan’s daughter right ? I’m Noelle, Noelle Hastings” she offered you her hand with a smile
“Nice to meet you” you introduced yourself “And yes, he’s my father”
“Dr.Jon has spoken wonders about you, are you a doctor too ?” she asked
From across the room you could hear Robby scoff and saw him shake his head almost as if to mock you, an action even Dana frowned at from behind her station “What ? She could still be a doctor if she wants, she can go to school” she defended “I mean look at her, what’s not to like ? She’s a doll.”
“I never said anything” Robby held his hands up in defense walking away and looking at Noelle and giving her a wink “See you later Hastings”
“He’s something else” she shook her head and laughed “I swear that man is one person here at work and a totally different man when he’s at home. I’ve enjoyed our time but there’s just so much that’s off. We lay in bed with the tv on till morning because he told me he hates the silence”
You looked at Dana who looked equally as uncomfortable as you did, “I don’t think we need to be knowing this at all”
“Oh come on it’s girl talk” Noelle grinned with a shrug “His pillow talk is just as bad, constantly talking about needing a break, he invited me to go on a trip with him that he’s taking. Claiming he wants a companion”
“You should go” you looked at her “He probably told you that because he needs someone. Maybe he’s going through something”
“When isn’t he ?” she sighed “I swear first it’s Adamson then Collins and now it’s something else he’s hiding”
“Collins ?” you asked “Heather Collins ?”
Dana sighed softly “You know gossiping on the clock isn’t really smart”
“She was a resident…she was also his girlfriend” Noelle informed you "Apparently everything he wanted in a woman, she was perfect but he just couldn’t commit so she left to another state. I think she’s the one who got away”
“And what do you think you are ?” you asked a little harsher than intended
“Sweetheart” she chuckled “Let me tell you something as someone who’s older, Robby is someone who will never ever commit, ever heard of his 7 week itch ? It’s the most he lasts with someone. Janey broke the record but she had a kid so I think he felt bad. But he did it to Heather and he’s trying to do it to me but I won’t let him which is why he’s chasing. It’s a weird game to him but if you’re willing to put that aside, it’s kind of nice. He’s great in-”
Dana suddenly picked up her clipboard and a pen from her drawer, closing it shut loudly enough to stop Noelle from continuing “Alright that’s truly more than enough for me. I shall see you ladies soon. Have a good day”
“See you” you grinned politely and turned back to Noelle “So you…you like him ?”
“I do” she admitted “He’s attractive, funny, he’s got good taste in local restaurants and bars and he’s amazing in bed. I’m not throwing that away just because he doesn’t wanna commit. The last month has been kind of fun, it’s exciting”
That was all the confirmation you needed to know the reason he stopped wanting anything to do with you was for her. You had reached the end of his seven week itch and he had moved onto his next one. You knew it wasn't cheating, it was agreed you’d just hook up but it still stung knowing he had been with you while already being with her too. It made you feel cheap more than anything.
You said goodbye to her and headed to the elevator, muttering a string of curse words when Robby walked in
“Your father got called in for emergency surgery” he spoke “He most likely won’t be out of that for another 3 hours or so”
“Alright, cool. I’ll leave” you reached your hand to press a button, meeting his eyes when he stopped you by grabbing your wrist “Let me go”
“What did she tell you ?” he murmured quietly
“That you’ve been fucking her for the last month” you answered
“You and I weren’t anything” he reminded you “You knew that, I can do as I please”
He was mostly telling himself that to convince himself that he was right but every fiber of his being knew he was wrong. He knew it was a shit thing to do to you, he knew he should’ve at least told you
“I never said you couldn’t” you shook your head “I just would’ve liked to know I was dating the hospital whore”
Robby chewed the inside of his cheek, visibly annoyed at your remark “The what ?”
“You’re ran through Michael” you said simply “That should be your new nickname, ran through Robby with his hospital honeys he replaces after 7 weeks of getting his itch scratched. It’d make for a good gossip sesh with Perlah and Princess for sure. Who would’ve thought such a highly regarded attending would be such a whore. Guess you got yourself confused with me”
“You wanna be childish go for it, it’s all you can come up with anyways. You know you went to the states’ best private schools and college and all you can manage to do is give middle school level remarks. Does that head of yours rattle when you shake it ?”
“Watch it” you snapped
“Don’t start what you can’t finish” he retorted with a finger point “You started this, we were fine. We were good friends and you ruined it. I told you what we had was just casual and you agreed to it. You cannot be mad at me for something you agreed with. I was honest with you.”
“Well maybe I wasn’t” you whispered wiping your eyes with the back of your hand “Maybe I lied and maybe I genuinely like you Michael. But you don’t, so there’s no point in even finishing this conversation.”
Before you could say anything else the elevator finally halted and you walked off as quickly as possible still hearing his footsteps as he tried his best to catch up to you and like some miracle he was stopped by some other doctor who needed his assistance
You were about to make your way out when you bumped into someone and crashed chest first into them, “Oh god I’m so sorry, you okay ? Oh god Jack I’m sorry, I spilled your coffee mug all over your shirt”
“All good” he grinned “Coffee here sucks anyways, I was about to head to the shop next block and grab some before I head home. You wanna join ?”
“Oh…um…I don’t think I should” you admitted
“You’re a big girl” he chuckled “We’re two adults, practically coworkers since you’re here so much, your dad won’t say a thing trust me”
“Okay fine” you nodded, following him out “How’s nightshift treating you ?”
“It’s been going” Jack grinned “Ever think of joining us ?”
“I’m not a doctor or a nurse” you shook your head “I barely got through college as is, I have a degree in fashion and design nothing educational or even medical.”
He shook his head “That’s not true, hey maybe you can design hospital gowns ?”
“That’s not funny” you muttered suddenly embarrassed “I already hear it from my parents okay ? I get it, I’m not Victoria Javadi who went to college when she was like 10 and now she’s a doctor working alongside her parents at the hospital. I should’ve majored in something more practical, I get it.”
“Hey” Jack put a hand on your shoulder “I wasn’t teasing you, I was being honest”
“I need to go home” you shook your head “We can have coffee another day, see you”
He didn’t move as he kept his hand on your shoulder and shook his head “You’re right, we can have coffee another day because right now we’re gonna head to that diner in the street corner and eat some food while you tell me what’s bothering you”
You shook your head “I’m fine really plus you just worked 14 hours, you need to rest”
“No you’re not” Jack said softly “Come on let’s go, I can sleep when I’m dead”
An hour later you were sitting across from him in a booth in the corner of the diner eating your feelings away with him with nothing but the sound of forks and spoons clinking against your plates
“I’m gonna assume this is male related because you just downed yours and my plate of french toast along with my bacon without a word being said. That or….you know female stuff” he made a face “No offense of course”
You couldn’t help but laugh “Wow, Marisol really gave you the 411 didn’t she ?”
Jack smiled softly at the mention of his wife who had passed “You know her, she loved telling me everything”
“She was the sweetest” you said softly
“She liked you a lot” he mentioned “She always said she thought you were made of sunshine because she never ever saw you sad…she’d hate to see you like this you know”
You trusted Jack, he was a good person and someone you knew wouldn’t judge you. His wife, Marisol, had passed a few years ago and you knew how hard it was on him. She was a doctor for another hospital and her passing had been rather sudden but even with the short time of knowing her she had always been kind to you
“Jack…are you using Marisol to get information ?”
“She’d want the gossip…or chisme as she liked to call it” he teased with a grin “So for her sake, I think you should tell me what’s bothering you, maybe I can help ?”
“Jack, I had a thing with Robby” you confessed “It was only for like maybe 2 months but it ended badly and I think, well I know….I like him. I like Robby and I like him more than he likes me and oh my god this is bad…this is so fucking bad” you whispered covering your mouth “Oh my god”
“You’re the one he’s messing with after his shifts” his eyes widened
“No that’s Noelle Hastings” you said quietly
“Wait, what the fuck ?” he leaned forward “He was two timing you ?”
Suddenly you wished the ground could swallow you up, you were sure your face was so damn hot you could probably fry an egg on it. Jack was staring at you wide eyed in shock and you could see him trying his best to make sense of everything
“He wasn’t two timing me because we-we weren’t dating, we were just hooking up” you revealed quietly “No harm was done from his side, I just…I just got a different idea in my head and it got messy”
“Well don’t think I’m gonna take his side just because he’s my friend because I won’t” he shook his head “But I will say, he’s not in good headspace”
“I’m well aware” you nodded “But does being in a bad headspace excuse these kinds of actions by a grown man ?”
“No” Jack answered almost immediately
“He’s free to do what he pleases and truth be told it’s on me, I should’ve never ever gotten involved with him” you said quietly “It was wrong.”
He sighed and put his coffee mug down “No it wasn’t, he’s the wrong one not you. He’s well aware he’s struggling and he’s choosing to get into relationships knowing he’s gonna sever them because he can’t handle the emotional commitment. The whole it’s not me it’s you thing he does, he’s right it is him and I love the guy but I can’t defend him here”
“I’m worried about him” you admitted “I don’t think he’s okay”
“He’s not” Jack answered gently “I’ve talked to him, Dana’s talked to him, we’ve tried but he’s dead set on going on this sabbatical for a few months. He’s claiming it’s gonna help clear his mind and while I don’t believe it at all he’s a grown man who makes his own choices.”
His statement didn’t help you one bit if anything it made you a little more on edge. There was nothing to help Robby when his mind was made up. Often whenever he was so in the moment he’d do things without thinking of consequences and now you knew the reason why
“But enough about him, let’s focus on you” Jack grinned “I wasn’t kidding about the hospital gown thing. You know we get kids in the ER a lot and sometimes they get scared seeing everything look so big and dark. Maybe you can design some kid ones ? It would help distract them a bit and make it fun. You should talk to board of directors”
“You make it sound so easy” you chuckled
“Don’t take this the wrong way” he said rubbing his chin “But maybe it’s time you use those connections your dad has, you already use his money. Does he know you like to pay unpaid medical bills with his card ?”
“I-”
“I’m not saying it’s a bad thing” Jack grinned “That’s really nice of you to do and I know Dr. Jon approves because he’s the first one willing to argue with insurance on the phone over patients. But maybe give it a shot, it’d be worth it”
“I guess you’re right” you nodded “I should go, you need rest”
“I’ll see you friday night” he said softly
“You never attend the hospital gala event” you said back “You really going ?”
Jack nodded “Couple of buddies are getting recognized for their help at Pittfest, I wanna be there for them so if I see you there is it cool if we sit together ?”
“Fine by me” you grinned “My dad will be sitting with my mom with the rest of neuro so I’ll be all alone”
“See you Friday then kid” Jack winked as he paid the bill
The annual hospital foundation gala was always the biggest event of the year. Sure it was a little snobby but it was for a good cause. Doctors and nurses deserved recognition though you remembered what Robby had told you a few months back about how they’d prefer better pay and more safety precautions. These events meant nothing to him, he hated them but you knew he’d be there that night and that made it all the much worse
The night was full of everyone you knew in suits and dresses, you watched as department heads tried to pretend they enjoyed making small talk outside the hospital. The event was held at the Omni William Penn hotel in downtown and it was gorgeous. Crystal chandeliers reflected off polished marble floors while a string quartet played somewhere near the grand staircase.
You honestly almost hadn't come, you wanted to back out badly but your father had insisted
It's important for the department. Besides, they're recognizing the new neuroscience wing. I'd like you there.
So there you were, alone. You adjusted the navy dress you had spent an hour convincing yourself looked appropriate and accepted a glass of sparkling water from a passing waiter. Your eyes wandered around the ballroom seeing every department. Emergency Medicine, trauma, cardiology, orthopedics and then…him.
Robby looked every bit the accomplished attending in his tuxedo, one hand tucked in his pocket and standing beside him was none other than Noelle. She looked beautiful and elegant as she laughed at something he quietly said before slipping her arm through his.
Your stomach twisted and you immediately looked away.
"Bad idea coming ?"
The familiar voice pulled you back and you turned to find Jack standing beside you, already holding two champagne flutes and offering you one of the glasses "I figured if I was getting dragged to a fundraiser, I'd at least make sure my favorite company wasn't standing alone…told you I’d be here"
You laughed softly "I’m your favorite company ?"
Jack shrugged with a crooked grin "I have surprisingly high standards."
You rolled your eyes, but accepted the drink, sipping as his expression softened as he looked at you "You okay ?"
You glanced toward Robby before catching yourself and of course Jack noticed, "Come on. Your dad's speech starts in five minutes." he pointed out
"So ?" you asked
"So you're not sitting by yourself." he nodded and before you could protest, Jack gently rested a hand against the middle of your back, guiding you toward one of the tables near the front
Across the ballroom Robby had been half listening to Noelle explain a recent vacation when movement caught his eye. He looked over and saw Jack walking beside you. His hand lingering briefly against your back before pulling out a chair for you
Robby watched as Jack leaned down to say something and you smiled and he smiled back. He hated the feeling he got in his gut but said nothing though his expression was more than obvious to Noelle who followed his gaze
"What're you looking at ?”
He blinked and shook his head, "Nothing important." he replied but his eyes drifted back anyway
Back on the other side Jack settled into the chair beside yours "You know," he said quietly, "I've always hated these things."
“Me too” you admitted “It’s nice to be recognized I’m sure but there’s other stuff they could do”
“Agreed” he nodded
He looked toward the podium where guests were beginning to take their seats “I’m glad I’m here with you” he murmured softly
You looked at him after reapplying your lipgloss "What was that ?"
He smiled "I said the food's usually better than people expect."
"You absolutely did not but whatever, lie to me Abbott” you chuckled
At another table, Noelle leaned closer to Robby "You seem distracted tonight."
"I'm fine." he answered
"You've said three words in the last ten minutes." she pointed out
Robby looked at her apologetically "I’m sorry, it’s just these events are a lot and I’m just a little tired is all”
She followed his line of sight again and sighed softly when she realized he was looking at you and Jack and looked back at him "You know her ?"
Robby hesitated but nodded "Pretty sure everyone here does, she’s Dr.Jon’s kid."
“Not what I meant” she said back quietly
It was finally time for speeches after everyone had settled in and you put your glass down as the lights dimmed and the hospital CEO approached the stage
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Chief of Neurosurgery”, applause filled the ballroom as your father walked onto the stage and you immediately sat a little straighter
Jack smiled "You've got the same determined look he gets."
"I do not." you whispered
"You do." he smirked "You absolutely do."
You nudged him with your elbow and he laughed quietly, "There's the fight I was hoping for."
Onstage, your father thanked donors, administrators, physicians, nurses, residents, technicians, environmental services and everyone who made the hospital what it was. He introduced patients who had helped and survived during Pittfest and presented them each with an award and a check for their efforts
As he spoke, Jack found himself watching you more than the stage. The way you looked at your father with quiet pride, the way you applauded the nursing staff louder than anyone else, the way you absentmindedly tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear. He caught himself smiling as he watched you
"You know," Jack murmured
"Hm ?"
"Your dad still introduces you as his little peanut” he said softly “Kinda cute”
You groaned softly "Please don't remind me."
"I think it's sweet." he admitted while looking at you with a small grin
“Thanks” you grinned back
Across the room, Robby couldn't hear what Jack had said but he had seen your reaction. He saw you laughing and the sudden ease between you. He saw Jack looking at you with an expression he recognized immediately.
Interest, not casual friendliness. Something that was becoming difficult to hide. Jack was looking at you like your company was exactly where he wanted to be, something Robby had failed to do. His fingers tightened around the stem of his glass and Noelle noticed
"You really are somewhere else tonight." she mentioned
He pulled his eyes away from your table "I’m sorry, I mean that. As soon as this is done we can head back to mine."
Robby forced himself to accept her touch on his thigh and looked toward the stage instead but despite every effort his attention kept drifting back to where you sat beside Jack, laughing softly at something only the two of you could hear
The applause faded as your father's speech came to an end and guests rose from their tables, drifting back into conversations over champagne and shitty hors d'oeuvres. Members of the hospital board gathered near a display showcasing plans for the new pediatric expansion you had heard rumblings about
Jack looked toward the crowd then back at you "There are a few people I want you to meet"
You looked at him skeptically, "Uh who ?" but before you could object again, he lightly touched your elbow
“Just come on” he grinned. Jack lead you toward a cluster of well dressed men and women wearing foundation badges, you immediately recognized them as the head of the board and slightly froze
One of them noticed and turned to Jack, smiling “Well if it isn’t Dr.Abbott, lovely seeing you here this evening”
"Nice to see you guys too” he shook their hands before stepping aside “I’m sure you all know Dr.Jon from neuro, this is his daughter and she was just telling me about this really good idea I think you guys might be into”
One of the women tilted her head and grinned "What kind of idea ? We’re always looking for ways to improve"
You cleared your throat before beginning and look them all in the eye “I have a degree in fashion and design…I know, not exactly what my parents wanted” you chuckled “But I’ve always thought about how children spend enough time scared in hospitals. So I started sketching hospital gowns that don't look like hospital gowns. They’re fun, they’re different like princesses or superheroes, dinosaurs, farm animals, mermaids, astronauts. Just fun characters so instead of feeling like patients in scary moments they can feel like children”
“Oh I love that, that’s wonderful” she grinned at you
“It would make admissions less frightening because sometimes kids are scared to change into gowns, it can make them feel more at ease” you nodded
“And before anyone here claims how it’ll cost, I know for a fact some of those donors drinking wine over there wouldn’t find having their name behind this kind of thing” Jack nodded “Good promo, looks great for them and you guys too”
A director turned towards you and smiled “You know this is actually quite genius, it works out for everyone involved and gives a little light on something that’s usually rather sad. Have you sketched any ?”
“I-I have” you said softly “I can email them if you’d wish as soon as possible”
"I think our pediatric foundation committee would love to hear this idea and see them, we should schedule a meeting." he nodded taking out his phone
"Really ?" you smiled
"Absolutely, this is something new that we could get started”
Jack looked at you and shrugged "I told you it was worth talking about."
Not so far away in the corner of the ballroom Robby hadn't realized he'd stopped listening to the conversation around him. He could hear enough now and his chest tightened at it all as another familiar conversation came back into his head, one from months ago
“Fashion ? You really wanna be a designer ? Like a clothing designer ?” Robby furrowed his brow “That’s what you went to college for ?”
“What ? It’s cool, I like the fun of it” you showed him your sketch book “I drew all of these”
“I’m just saying if I had the financial privilege and opportunity of having a father in the medical field I’d do something that’s worth it” he said without even looking through it as he set it on his coffee table
“Fashion is worth it, it’s freedom of expression” you picked it back up quickly and put it in your purse “It’s just as important as something medical”
“Most privileged take I’ve ever heard, if only some of us could go to school to draw clothes and not even have to pay for it” he chuckled
He had also heard you arguing one day with your mother outside your fathers office but he had kept that to himself only remembering the part where she had told you she wanted more for you because she cared
Now Robby stood just a few feet away listening to board members ask you questions as you answered them with ease, clearly knowing what you were talking about. From describing fabrics that were soft enough for sensitive skin or patterns that wouldn't interfere with examinations and openings that preserved children's dignity while still giving doctors the access they needed.
You knew exactly what you were talking about as Jack stood beside you, nodding along, “Remember the neurodivergent kids” he whispered lowly enough for you to hear
"I'd also want options for children with autism or sensory sensitivities..." you looked back at the board “Maybe softer fabrics or heavier ones for those that have those needs”
"You know," one of them said "I think there's something very special here."
"I agree," another replied "We'd be foolish not to explore it. We’ll settle a meeting as soon as possible, most likely this coming week. Thank you again for this, it’s a lovely idea really”
Jack smiled at you as they walked away “Told you, you did it”
“I need a drink” you said letting out a deep sigh “Jesus christ that was mortifying”
“I got you” he grinned
The ballroom had grown louder as the evening wore on, music drifted through the open doors leading to the terrace while clusters of doctors and donors laughed over another round of drinks.
You slipped away, needing 5 minutes where no one expected you to smile for more pictures or your mother continuously asking you meet so and so’s son who was head of who knows what in some other hospital
Outside, the summer air was cool and refreshing. The city lights shimmered below the hotel's rooftop terrace and for the first time all evening, the noise faded into a comfortable silence
"You hiding too ?"
You turned and Jack stepped through the doors, loosening his bow tie as he walked over “I don’t blame you after you left to sit with your parents for dessert I had to take a breather too”
He leaned against the railing beside you, looking out over the skyline and reached into the inside pocket of his tuxedo jacket, pulling out a crumpled pack of cigarettes
Your eyebrows shot up immediately "You smoke ?"
Jack chuckled "I almost never do actually", he tapped one loose from the pack before holding it between his fingers “When I feel a little out of my own control I usually smoke one…I know it doesn't make any sense."
You studied him for a moment and shrugged "You don't look like a smoker."
He shrugged and smiled ruefully as he lit and inhaled, blowing out the smoke in a shallow breath "I think somewhere along the way my brain decided that meant cigarettes equaled... taking a minute. I don't even usually finish one."
He looked almost embarrassed admitting it so you reached over and gently took the cigarette from his fingers and surprisingly he let you. You dropped it onto the floor and stepped on it with your heel "I think you're allowed to take five minutes without this."
Jack looked at the floor then at you "I suppose I am.", he looked at you for a long moment. Long enough that your smile slowly faded beneath the weight of his gaze "You know..." he said quietly
"What ?"
"I meant what I said the other day"
You tilted your head "About what ?"
"That none of what happened with Robby had anything to do with your worth." he said softly “He’s got all these issues and he chose to lash out rather than communicate. Stop letting it take over, you got other stuff to look forward to”
"There isn't anything wrong with you." his eyes searched yours "You're kind, you got a good heart. You somehow convinced an entire hospital board that hospital gowns can be magical." he hesitated for a bit and perhaps the first time all evening, he seemed unsure of himself “You know I haven’t had a nice night like this since….since I was with Marisol and being with you just…it feels real nice”
Jack lifted a hand slowly, giving you every opportunity to pull away, his fingertips brushed a loose strand of hair behind your ear and only when you didn't move did he lean in slowly. As if giving you plenty of time to change your mind
Instead, you closed the remaining distance and his lips met yours in a gentle kiss. You pressed a hand to his chest and one of his went to your waist, holding you carefully as the both of you stood together
The terrace doors opened again and Robby stepped outside, intending to escape the noise for a moment. He stopped after only two steps when he saw the two of you, Jack's hand rested lightly against your cheek and the two of you had just separated from the kiss
Robby remained still, he looked at Jack who looked back at him and sighed. He looked at you and you were too shocked to utter a word “Sorry for interrupting” he nodded as he turned around “Enjoy your night”

jack talking you through it when you struggle to take his cock...
you’re trying, trying so desperately to let jack in, but his cock is so thick, so long – you feel as if he’s rearranging your insides, when in reality only half of him is inside you.
you pull him towards you, needing the closeness more than ever, because the feeling of being stretched, caused by jack, is making you incredibly overwhelmed. your body is hot and needy, your eyes are wet , and your lips are open because of the moans that have long since been escaping from your throat without your consent.
and jack just holds you through it all. his large, calloused hands wrap around your smaller body; his lips kiss the top of your head in an almost fatherly manner, murmuring sweet words to you nearly nonstop to help you take his cock deeper into your small puffy pussy.
"you’re stretching so beautifully for me, sweetheart" he says hoarsely, stroking your hips with his thumbs while his cock sinks deeper into you, making you gasp for air "you take every inch of me so well, so very well. that's it."
he pushes further into you, and your reaction is almost immediate. your sensitive walls clench around him and your body arches as if you were a cat in heat.
"jack…oh" you moan pitifully, your hands clutching his broad, muscular shoulders, and jack immediately leans down to be closer, to give you the comfort you crave, kissing away the tears that threaten to spill over.
"it’s all right. i’ve got you. breathe, sweetheart, just breathe" he whispers, cupping your jaw in one of his rough hands, and you nestle into it straight away, closing your eyes "you’re doing so good. your sweet pussy is opening up so beautifully. we're almost there."
and when he’s finally buried deep inside you, you feel full – so utterly full. your foggy mind feels as though his cock is no longer in your belly but down your throat. you feel as though you can barely breathe or move, and your pussy spasms intensely around him, tormenting him sweetly.
but jack ignores it completely because, at that moment, you’re the one who matters most; you’re his priority , his precious little girl.
