Why do people keep tagging normal wings of fire dragons as wyverns on art fight ;-;

I just wanna draw a wings of fire dragon with their wings being their arms, not a normal dragonnnn

Deathcaller lesbeans!!

So, this was what I streamed as part of a Pride raid train and even with two streams I wasn’t able to finish it ;-;

But! They’re done now! This is peach and her wife, Calca! (Speedpaint for these two is going up today!)

So, there aren’t many quantum Deathcallers left in the tribe, actually minus her egg, peach is the only quantum left. Queen lightspirit wanted her to have eggs to preserve quite possibly the strongest dragon type that they have. But peach, she doesn’t like guys. They’re all too mean and quick to fight instead of talking things out before a spar. And frankly, she doesn’t trust men that much.

So, instead of being forced to marry a male glowing or matriarch, she asked the Queen about a quantum preservation program. It lets the dragons themselves choose who they want to marry while also making sure quantum Deathcallers are never lost. The queen liked that idea, so for the first time in the tribes known history, a quantum married an albino!

Peach still regularly attempts to have quantum eggs. She cares about her tribe and wants more dragons like her around. But she’s more happy with Calca than anyone else the queen could’ve showed her as mating options.

Anyways, it’s probably my last post of pride month, hope yall had an amazing time! So excited to see what everyone does for art fight!

Part 3! SEAFANGSSSSS!!!!

Two of my favourite canon tribes turned into a subspecies for my fanfic! They’re pretty similar to canon Seawings but they like dry land more than them so their palace has dry halls as well as normal ones. Theyre one of the three tribes to have Mage(animus) dragons

(Animus rename is a wip, if yall have any ideas I’d love to hear them!)

The sea dragons, or leviathans, are a pain to deal with. I don’t think we would be able to eradicate them completely, as treasonous as that is to write. It’s just impossible to chase them as deep as they can go, even with our own primitive spells. These beasts seem to host meetings once every year with young ones from the death of the skies and the rollers. Sometimes the young ones can levitate coconuts or seashells. I believe this is the magic they’ve been using to make some of these magical artifacts we found in one of their abandoned palaces. I am unsure if that is jumping to conclusions, but I cannot think of any other aspect of these beasts that would let them create the impossible.

Something else strange but not quite as important about the sea dragons is they can change parts of their bodies. Some of their scales can glow and change colours. If this is only restricted to a part of them or if they have the capabilities to completely change their colours is unknown. It seems they use this as communication. Perhaps this language would be easier to learn than their cacophony of growls and roars. Though I’m not sure if we will ever be able to learn it.

Seafangs used to have settlements on the beaches and islands around tairik until the scavengers started travelling by boat. Then they retreated back underwater and an animus enchanted the palace to be able to be dry in most places, including the throne room. It usually only their glowscales and frills that can change colour but sometimes some Seafangs are born with more colour changing scales, typically around where their glowscales are. Because they can’t use their scales to camouflage, most of them can’t control their scale colour that well unless they’re very in tune with their emotions.

I’m still thinking about the name of the material that the see through parts of their armour is made of as well. I’m thinking the armoclaws have made an alloy with something that makes a hard to work with but strong material that allows Seafangs to communicate while they’re well protected.

The white mountain dragons seem to have a lot of scrolls. It’s like their society almost revolves around them. I wonder what is in these scrolls. I’ve gotten my hands on one but I’m struggling with translating the text. The king is being impatient, he wants to know what it says too. There’s multiple repeating phrases that I’m still attempting to figure out, but it’s something to focus on for now.

The Dawnmarks are all about archival! They have the biggest library in tairik and value accurate information about history very highly. The seers can only see a couple hundred years into the past with their most talented dragons, like nightwings.

The dragons who can read minds have the sun marking behind their eyes, while the seers typically have more vibrant scales underneath their wings, leaning toward colours of dusk and twilight.

Dawnmarks are pretty chill, though their Queen is a prick.

I realized i only had one drawing of one of the major characters in my fanfic, so heres her second one!

This piece took a few days to make and im so fluffing proud of it!! I need to draw more pics with dragon wings being extended lol, I love how it makes them look so big

I need to keep writing my wof fanfic but writers block is so real 😔

I’ve also started posting to twitter and bluesky again! So hopefully keeping up with those will help me keep up with tumblr as well :3

This piece takes place just after shearwater gets banished from her home, shes gathered everything she can carry and is going to meet up with Tesla, her soon to be gf and soon to be ex. Shear looks up at the moons and asks them ‘why me.?’ All she did was defend herself.

Deathcallers, aka, the death of the skies. Dragons who live around volcanoes, they seem to be unbothered by the high heat. Their tough upper scales deflect fire easily like metal. Their skull masks appear to symbolize some kind of ranking system, with the bare bones ones seeming to be on the bottom. One person who’s seen their leader says that their mask is adorned with gemstones and pearls. These beasts seem to be more hostile than other dragon species, brawling more frequently. Whether they be from disagreements, or just for a spar, we don’t know.

I will continue to document as much as I can of our enemies. Humans will rise!!

Deathwing subspecies abilities:

(Subject to change, I’m deep in hyperfixation rn and might rewrite some of this)

-normal: no extra abilities, can breathe fire

-albino: stronger than normal, fire breath

-mythic: stronger than normal, blue fire breath

-glowing: bioluminescent underscales, venom instead of fire breath like a rainwing's

-savage: stronger than albino/mythic, blue fire breath

-chameleon: stronger than normal, camoflauge, fire breath

royal/rarer subspecies

-matriarch: stronger than albino/mythic, blue fire breath, harder scales

-alpha: can telepathically talk to other deathwings, stronger than matriarch, blue fire breath

-quantum: stronger than matriarch, blue bioluminescent underscales, blue fire breath, rarest species, big wings for longer flight time, rumor has it they can make illusions of themselves around them
