An Interview With Thieta
On the 8th of July '14, I sat down to have an interview with the up-and-coming artist named Thieta.
Who are you?
Young boy who makes beats & drinks coffee
I've heard you're from Manchester, do any Mancunian artists/bands influence you at all?.
Yes definitely. Joy division are a stand out band that influenced me as a kid getting me into guitar, and from there I've just been expanding my music tastes.
I've seen that you live-stream yourself when you make beats, what gave you this idea?
I used to play a lot of games, n streaming was a big thing for gaming. So I just adapted it to beat makin'.
What do you try to convey to the listener through your art
Nothing at the moment, if i ever get round to a full album I'll think about it more, but for now I just like making music that people can bop their heads to.
What genre do you classify as?
Hip hop, with jazz & electronic influences.
Favourite books?

What do you think about the term 'Sweater Core'?
Sounds like something i could be interested in.
