Hey. In anticipation of The Friendship Factory's podcast initiative launching this coming Monday, we've gone to the trouble of whipping up a quick promo so you can see what the show's all about.
...Yeah, sorry, my boss is saying I have to specify that the promo is a work of fiction and that the events depicted never happened. And also that the workers are "very happy" and "fueled by a love for the magic of friendship." So, uh, jot that down, I guess.

CAIN
Hey, Theo. You got a sec?
THEO
Oh, hey, Cain! What’s up?
CAIN
Well, me and some of the others were thinking… things around the Friendship Factory could be a little better, you know? For the workers?
THEO
I mean, sure, but… what can we do about it?
CAIN
Well… honestly, we thought it would be a good idea if everyone got together and started—
THEO
[GASP] A podcast?!
BEAT.
CAIN
What?
THEO
Cain, that’s a great idea! I mean, what would be better for our fellow workers than to raise their spirits with a podcast about the insane internet phenomenon that was My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?
CAIN
Actually, we were thinking about forming a union—
THEO
Like, we can summarize the show episode-by-episode for all the people who hadn’t watched it, and see how our opinions on it have changed over the course of 10 years!
CAIN
That… sounds like fun, but I’d prefer dental—
THEO
And, of course, we can commiserate about our cringey fandom memories, like the strange terminology surrounding ‘plot’ and ‘clop,’ or that time you played a Pinkie Pie song for your entire orchestra class!
CAIN
You did what?!
THEO
Yeah, Cain, I think this is it. I think we’ve gotta start a podcast. You in?
BEAT. BEAT.
CAIN
If I say yes will you join our fucking union?
THEO
Of course!
[Friendship is Magic- Italian MLP theme starts playing softly]
THEO
Join us at the Friendship Factory, where every two weeks, these former bronies will have another pair of MLP episodes to review, discuss…
CAIN
…and maybe cause psychic damage from bringing up ancient fandom brainrot.
THEO
Oooh, yeah. Big time.
CAIN
Anyway — find us on your podcatcher of choice, and give us a follow on Bluesky and Tumblr while you’re at it! And, remember: friendship is—
THEO
—worth it if it means trading away our health insurance.
Hi, everypony. They dragged me off the beach again.
As you might've known, back at the beginning of April the tolerable folks over at the Daniel's Dread Tales podcast invited our hosts over to help them out with an April Foals event, playing a game of the official Friendship is Magic Essence20 system. Since then, I am informed that they have been "cooking," and the results of that "cooking" will be made available on the Friendship Factory Feed.
Cain dropped the above video on my lap and then bolted away at high speed before I could mace it with spray sunscreen, so I assume you can find the first half of the crossover's debut two-parter here, and I know nothing else about it.
Enjoy. Godspeed. I hope there aren't Two More Episodes in the can I'll have to post about or anything like that.
What do you people want? You made me drop my pony colada!
I'm.
I'm sorry, what? They dropped an episode??? But they're supposed to be on break. This wasn't on the schedule. It's not even an episode of My Little Pony! What are we doing, here? Is nothing sacred? You want me to do promo work on my vacation?! For a discussion of a documentary about the MLP fandom from 2012 that has all but faded into obscurity???
My cutie mark is a spindle, representing my passion for fiber arts that I'm dddefinitely using so much at the Friendship Factory. Theo doesn't have one (Diamond dogs don't have cutie marks) but he says if he did it would be "a tiny green fox in a bandana, because what is my destiny but to be Theodore." -Cain
My cutie mark is the fucking tumblr logo I don't wanna hear it. My illustrious boss, Canter Everposter, has the former Twitter logo, and she's coping SUPER well with it. -Shadowban
Anyway, corporate has mandated that I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for tuning in to Season 2 of The Friendship Factory. To stay more or less aligned with the MLP air dates, the show will be taking a season break and will return in the fall. In the meantime, I'll be on the beach with my pony colada (Legally distinct and deniably alcoholic).
Oh, by the way. There's no Friendship Factory this week because Cain is busy unlocking Theo from the radiator I mean Theo and Cain are busy preparing for the Season 2 postmortem, but they did make a guest appearance on our show's close friend show, Daniel's Dread Tales. Or should I say, uh. Daniel's... Delightful Tales.
Go give part 1 of the episode some love over here and hang tight for part two and our show's season finale.
Listening to the daring do episodes, ive got 3 book series i genuinely think rainbowdash would enjoy.
Percy Jackson
Wings of Fire
Warrior Cats
All for very different reasons, but it would be fun to see hasbro try their hand at any of those 3
I know this isn't really the point of your ask but now I'm off on a tangent thinking about how you would adapt Warrior Cats to MLP, a setting where many animals are already sentient or quasi-sentient and "wild animals" and "nature" do not, strictly speaking, exist. Would it have to take place in the Everfree? What about the notable plot point about Kittypets getting neutered?? There are so many qudesodfhieusehgouehgiehrifuerfhergiuehtieh
Oh, hey. By the way, we're really starting to approach the end of Season 2, so Canter had the genius idea of doing a Q&A to celebrate all the new people who listen to this show for some reason. So if you have any burning questions for our brave hosts, there is a form here you can fill out to have your question answered during our Season 2 postmortem episode.
Well, folks, I'll say season 2 of this show has been real, and it's been fun, but I can't say it's been real fun. I can't wait to log out, chill out, and sip this enormous martini, because season 2 is DONEZO. Done. Finis. You can listen to the FINAL episode ft. our special returning guest Daniel Fernandez of Daniel's Dread Tales at this link, or on whatever podcatcher you use. There is absolutely no work remaining to be done for your favorite social media intern pony and general work horse.
W.
What do you MEAN we still have to do the postmortem?
Also, where is the intro song from and do you plan on covering Equestria Girls or any of the FIM mini movies/shorts
Hi, oh god, thanks! I still get a little emotional whenever someone says they like our show, haha.
Our intro song is the Italian version of the Friendship is Magic theme. It was originally intended as a placeholder, but it kind of goes hard, so we kept it.
The plan is to cover the Equestria Girls movies at the point in the show's release schedule where they aired, so the first EQG movie should happen between Seasons 3 and 4.
Not sure about the shorts yet, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it!

I'm once again dodging Cain, who is throwing things because of something to do with the "Youtube copyright algorithm." See, this is why I thought pivoting to video was, like, a bad idea? But nobody listens to Shadowban.
Anyway, I don't care to solve that mystery, but if you listen to our newest episode, you can solve a mystery involving trains and cakes or. Something. I'll be honest, I don't watch My Little Pony. The more important thing is that it features special guest industrial spy Russell of Daniel's Dread Tales. Anyway listen here or on your podcast app, you know the deal.
hey sorry gotta type this one fast news just broke the equestrian economy is in shambles. layoffs are inevitable. these three fillies printed it in a school newspaper so its GOTTA be true i gotta haul plot if i wanna keep this shitty part time gig
new episode here or on whatever podcast app u use idc
