hello! i am tal, @camellia-thea, a long time (since 2017!) sunless seas player, more recent fallen london player! this blog is 18+. i'm in academia studying 19th century literature, so... be prepared for nerdery on that front.

the mournful stranger, a second-generation zee captain, is well-aware of how the zee treats zailors. salt's song sits on the breeze, and the uttermost east calls to it. eventually, it will sail back there again.
[what happens when you enter frostfound and find and lose yourself? it/its, someone who has given itself entirely to salt and the zee]
islwyn lloyd, the sly poet, has officially won the marvellous, and staked their desire on power. now switching between their human persona and that of its new self, islwyn is growing discontent with their choices. split between their printing press, their work as a poet and a detective, and the growing demands following its victory, islwyn is now trying to figure out how to maintain their position of power and control in a world which has suddenly become much, much bigger.
[or, islwyn, they / it, learns that decisions have consequences, and thinking through what their heart's desire was before staking their life on it was probably the thing to do.]
i try to spoiler tag, but i am forgetful, if people want me to tag for stuff, ask and i shall do my best.
feel free to send a calling card to camellia-thea in fl if you should like to meet with islwyn!
