So I've been having an incredibly tough/bad mental health period and could really, really use a night inside. A hotel runs about $80 with a $50 refundable incidental due at check in.
I am also saving for a phone/bill/plan as well.

When evaluating the Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik, psychologists determined they were mentally about 10 years old. This was just one of the factors they used when they came to the conclusion Lyle and Erik had in fact, been sexually abused.
Many witnesses noted how child-like the brothers were, and relayed the many behavioural signs of emotional immaturity.
One of the biggest examples was Lyle’s stuffed animal collection. He had an emotional attachment to the toys, and played pretend with them up to the age of 17. His parents would often destroy his plushies in anger or as a punishment, and his father told him he was a “sissy” and that “boys don’t play with dolls.”
Dr. John Conte testified that Lyle used his toys to create a world he could make sense of, since he couldn’t process his reality. His rabbits, who acted as wise judges, gave Lyle a sense of justice he didn’t have in the real world. In his real life, his mother would lie about him to his father, who would then beat him for some imagined crime. But in his world, the rabbits were always fair in their rulings.
Erik’s best friend was his cousin, Andy Cano, who was three years younger than him. Erik still played make-believe with Andy well into his teens.
The boys’ tennis coach, Charles Wadlington, grew very attached to the brothers. He felt he was the only adult in their lives who was kind to them. Because of this, he spent a lot of time with the two boys outside of tennis.
He remembered that teenage Lyle and Erik still enjoyed listening to Chip and Dale records and playing games like tag.
Dr. Ann Tyler argued with prosecutor Pamela Bozenich over her use of the term “child.” Pamela was frustrated with her referring to Erik that way and asked the Dr. if she was aware that Erik was 18 at the time of the killing, and 22 currently. Dr. Ann Tyler argued that in her opinion, Lyle and Erik were still children because of the severe way in which the abuse had stunted their development.

Betty (on character consistency vs. player-determined personality) (x): We did have a set character for Eivor. Kassandra and Alexios, they were a lot more fluid in their characterization. For me, when I was writing Kassandra, I was like, she’s Xena. She’s a big sweaty jock who’s here to save the day and she’s gonna do a backflip and she’s gonna kiss a girl and she’s gonna punch a mercenary in the face and that’s who my Kassandra was. But she could be a very different character to a lot of people and the malleability of that is great. But Eivor, we did have a set character for her. She’s not a selfless person: she always has to have a reason for what she does. As a quest impetus, she doesn’t help people out of charity, unless, you know: she helps her friends, if it’s a friend or a loved one of Eivor’s she’s very loyal and will absolutely do something. Or if it has to do with honour, if her name has been tarnished, if it has to do with building her own alliances and connections. But I was always interested in the smaller character parts of Eivor. I remember probably irritating direction being like, “ok, but what is Eivor’s biggest, dumbest weakness?” Is she unable to see a cat without sticking her face in its belly and going [blowing raspberry noises]? Like, does she passionately love cheese? What are her dumbest likes and dislikes?
Interviewer: So what do you think is her greatest weakness?
Betty: Oh, it’s obviously cats.
10/10
