note: making preparations for a little infina minicomic has made me discover how utterly messy my conlang (documentation) is at the moment. never use one singular spreadsheet for your conlang for 7 years i was going to do a full translation for the comic but i do NOT want to deal with that anymore

interncontinental lore: i have had a few different ideas on what exactly introduced me to country personification (or the general idea of personifying a large swath of land or people) and have come up with a few different results. but i think THIS was the thing that introduced me to it for sure and its so stupid when i was a young child in about 2013 or 2014 my older brother introduced me to the youtube puppet/plush story channel supermariologan and in that show there is a character called brooklyn t(he) guy who had a comically large amount of brothers also named after like every major american city. when i was a little kid i found it fascinating because 1. he was my favourite character and 2. the idea was fun to me it only recently clicked to me that, by his original purpose, brooklyn could have been considered a city personification character. at least that was how i interpreted him as a kid???

by technicality and personal interpretation, this FREAK was the first piece of country/city personification media i ever witnessed. without him it is likely i would not be the man i am today

i must say, where's Togo?

I am doing Africa in alphabetical order (for the most part) and so far I am still on Es. Here is his RR3 (2025) design, though. He will get upgrades when I get to him. These designs aren’t that old, but I made them en masse using a base, so they are very rough.

how come the usa has A for their letter ??? shouldn't it be US or USA

I use the most recognizable letter (to me). US could work, but A is more recognizable and looks much nicer. There are a lot of letters I prefer to use and not to use, with U being one of my lesser favourites. It is quite difficult to make expressions for the letter U. (and quite a few others) UAE’s U is also ignored, because AE is more recognizable and easier to work with. I only ever use two letters. Three is crowded, and also doesn’t match the amount of eyes they can have anyway.

A portal that can only be opened with machine-like precision, and the naïve trust of someone willing to lend you the flower centerpiece. After InfinaKata chose to retire and rest indefinitely far, far away from Setrodiyn and its Complex, he leant his flower ’accessory’ to his most trusted son. In the Infinity Flower and most of Infina’s colour choices in his designs and plans, red purple and white (∞) are prioritized; the top of the hierarchy, closest to Infina himself. They represent Monfouset and Ridifan respectively, the strongest and, more importantly, most respected by InfinaKata. But, Ridifan, unfortunately, was undeniably the favourite.

At least it appeared so.

[RR4 #102/195~] Equatorial Guinea | Complex Countries

Complete remaster, changed pretty much everything other than the flag inspiration and ribbons. A bit of a complex design with a lot of moving parts, which I usually prefer to avoid, but I really like it! Drawing this design reminded me of my old ’’3 accessory maximum’’ rule. Do not worry, I do not plan to reinstate it. :P

Monfouset could you please stop time for the duration of like, 4 weeks so I can study for my tests and do artfight

P.s. Infina if you let him do it I promise I'll draw you

Monfouset usually only stops or alters time for a period of a few hours to a few days to avoid detection, but it is not unheard of for him to perform longer stunts. His time-altering abilities have been known to make some people quite vengeful, as he often cannot (or will not) use them when it is most necessary.

I wanted to finally try and draw what he looked like under the.. thing he wears. Not very different from all the others, of course! Except for the experimentation scarring, which is usually covered by his half-cloak.

if Haiti can time travel?, could she time travel at the time of her first revolt to aid her past self against france?, or will it be some time paradox nonsense as a result if such a thing happened?.

With how my countries work, theoretically, one of them time travelling to the past inside of the complex would merely result in them being ’hijacked’ by the current government of that time period - putting you right back at the start.

Instead of dealing with that mess, time travel only occurs outside of the Complex where that connection is mostly severed.
