Occupation: Waitress at The Leaky Cauldron
The snow has fallen and the air is cool and gentle- that’s when Amelia was born. In her childhood home, being an only child, Amelia sits at the dining room table made of stone, with her mother present. “Sweetheart, I need you to know, your daddy loved you and I. He may not be here anymore but he will never be forgotten nor will he ever leave our hearts.” Her mother once told her as a very young girl. Amelia’s Father was a Muggle living in the wizarding world whereas her Mother was a Pure Blood Wizard living with her husband. Amelia’s Father took ill over the recent winter as she was 7 years old. he became weaker and weaker over time and even though Amelia was young she could tell what was going to happen and she stayed strong and hopeful for her mother.
Youth was a breeze to her as she made many friends over time as she would frequently visit Hogsmeade and always visited The Three Broomsticks for her favorite beverage, butterbeer. Amelia moved back to the Muggle World with her mother around age 10 to attend Muggle Elementary so she would have a safe and normal life. She opened up her mind to the world around outside of magic. She knew what she was and what she could do, she just wasn’t in control of it. Her Mother decided it was time to move again as Amelia grew to become age 12 to age 13, her mother decided to place her in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry. A place she once went to, to control and learn to possess her powers and wanted the same for Amelia.
Amelia loved the school. She was placed in Ravenclaw which of course you would expect an intelligent gentle girl to be placed. The true heart of a Ravenclaw. All while Amelia has been attending Hogwarts, she finds herself having a lot of free time and found herself a waitressing job at The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley. True Diagon Alley isn’t the safest place to be for a young wizard, but she loves the people and the staff all within the Pub. She loved all of her classes especially Potions Class. They usually have a new teacher each and every year just as well as Defense Against the Dark Arts Class. She loved the lessons the teachers would bring and the excitement she got when she was able to show off. She never really got to when she was younger, so she grew the confidence to show off and impress every one of her classmates. As Amelia made newer friends and found new hobbies she enjoyed doing around campus, she often found herself sitting alone by the water fountain in the middle of Hogwarts Courtyard. Amelia is all laughs and crossed arms as well as furrowed brows and endless tears of emotions. Amelia is known to be the gentle one but she has her moments that if you click her the right way or hit a nerve she will pop off just as quickly and easily it is for you to mess with her.
Amelia has met some cruel and vile people in Hogwarts. It’s not like when Harry Potter defeated The Dark One, he defeated all that was cruel and evil. As easy as it was for her to make friends she also came across some rather inventive bullies all throughout campus. All with many different sorts of reasons as to why she has been pushed around, possibly because of her mother’s past, or because her father was gone and a Muggle. Every reason was different and that wasn’t close enough to stop her from stepping right back on their toes. Amelia wasn’t one to fight, but if she had to, she would even though she did not like it. Amelia has every now and then earned points to Ravenclaw for being fearless and courageous for stepping up when it came to other classmates for being bullied. It was just against everything she believed in. Everyone deserves to enjoy their day in Hogwarts without getting punished by other classmates.
As the few years at Hogwarts drifts by, she is now in her 7th year and now 3rd in command of the Order at Hogwarts. Amelia has heard the news that the Ministry has been plotting against everyone that is Muggle Born and is set to correct the World to make it perfect. It’s like The Dark Lord still lives within the Ministry even though all they want is perfection and power. Amelia has become braver and more powerful than she even realizes. After all of her practice and everything she has been through, she is working her way to make plots herself with her classmates, all while continuing classes and passing OWL exams and keeping a normal young lady’s life. She believes it’s up to her and Hogwarts to fix everything back to the way Harry left everything to be and speak to the Minister of Magic and find out why everything is happening the way it is.
