This entire fight between Batman and Shredder is sick.

Both having an "oh shit, this guy's built different" moment, with Shredder slicing right through Batman's grappling hook wire (which is not easy to cut), and Batman breaking Shredder's blades (something not even the Turtles can do).

That fight choreography.

Neat '90s TMNT movie reference with Shredder's slo-mo entrance.

It's not just a one-sided battle, they both dish out and take equal amounts of damage. Both are masters in martial arts and it shows in different ways: Shredder starts by aiming straight for the unprotected part of Batman's cowl to end the fight quickly, while Batman starts out on the defensive to analyse Shredder and figure out how to take him down.

Look at that fight choreography.

Both of them learn and adjust quickly during their battle; Shredder fights more aggressively when Batman evades his basic strikes. Batman tests batarangs on him so Shredder closes the distance between them. Batman observes how he mainly relies on his blades and takes them out.

Bloody hell, that throat jab was brutal.

Batman's only mistake was thinking Shredder was too worn out to try anything else and doing his signature cape jump as an intimidation attempt, not anticipating that last-resort Foot Clan technique that caused some internal damage to him (probably nicked a lung) and took a lot out of Shredder to pull off. If his blades weren't broken, that move would've been inflicted more fatal wounds.

Just look at that fight choreography.

The fact that Shredder prepares for Round 2 later in the movie, being equipped with stronger blades and going straight for Batman's utility belt.

Did I mention THAT FUCKING FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY
