Today I looked at nanny and felt as if I were about to cry, my eyes become glossy. In this state of wet vision I could almost pretend she's as healthy as she was 4 years ago, if not for the twisted posture and shrimp like stance. Facing away from me i couldn't see how her face was more wrinkled and how her hair was thinning rapidly. I had to look away and face the patio before I let tears spill, the first though that came to mind is "I don't wish for her to die, I love her so dearly" and rhen the next was how her clothes are identical to those of what she would wear years prior. Loose trousers and a dark pink top, white spots. If it weren't for the frustrated mumbles and critical voice I could almost pretend nothing changed. That I won't have ti mourn my Nan, that my life wont be drastically different in years to come.
