Now, Elinor would think that an opportunity to speak confidently and publicly about the rewarding nature of a career to a group of young people is incentive enough on its own. But obviously Antonia is a very different kind of person than Elinor. Elinor would call people by their names when they are asked.
"You should do it because it means you'll get first pick of kids who already want to work in your fields once they graduate. Sales, management, marketing," Funnily enough, the command to just tell her what she needed actually give the teacher a little boost in their confidence, "It's just an hour or two, and you'll be making connections just as much as they are. There's a lot of potential in our schools, I just trying to help kids realize that."
Antonia ponders this for a moment, though it's mostly for show. It never actually really mattered whether she accepted this proposal from the Little Frell or not. It was all about... learning something. Learning what it was that brought someone up. What tore someone down. How bothered they seemed to be about their name not being used, and how they responded to being told what to do, and in what way. It's not that the Frell was spineless, it was just that they were misguided, lost and directionless. That can be useful.
All very interesting things for Antonia to sink her teeth into. And if this gives her more material to work with... yes, she thinks she has found her entertainment for the next few weeks.
"Alright. Fine."
She leans forward, that strange smile never quite leaving her face, and extends her hand for Elinor for shake.
"I accept."
