✦ Minuscule 1st anniversary ! ✦

One year ago, "Minuscule" started ! What was first a little joke inspired by fanarts and discord discussions became way more than expected ! I was really surprised to see how people loved the concept and embraced this story ! I never thought I would work on it for so long but I did, and it's far from over !

Actually, I have to admit, this part is so short because it was originally the last part...But in the end, I just couldn't fit them into one, and dividing one part into two seemed pointless to me

One of the things I drew really quick after finishing my commissions lol I did slow dow a bit this month trying to get those all done (all 12 of them), but I think I'll be getting back on fun stuff again!

But yeah, I think Bobby would have been wondering if the carpet matches the drapes ever since seeing Pietro the first time lol He wasn't sure bc his eyebrows are black and the pool scene would be the first time he'd get a chance to really see that. XD

I got a bit carried away with the AU of an AU and have just wanted to do more of it lol I figured it might go a bit differently when the merperson is uhhhh huge. It might not have been as enchanting as Ariel singing and it would take Bobby a moment to realize the person he's interacting with is humongous, but once he does, there would be a primal fear waking him up pretty much immediately like if someone gave him smelling salts lol The reaction would hurt Pietro bc it's coming from him, even tho he should probably expect it from any human, but once Bobby actually could see what he was looking at he'd be like "Wow..." So I guess right away he'd be aware that his rescuer was very much not human and only Bobby would see a giant sea beast man and go "Would." lol Pietro saw someone from really far away coming and didn't want to be spotted so he bailed. At his height he'd see pretty far so uhh... Hopefully it was someone coming to help him lol

Also someone mentioned after that they thought there was going to be a huge splash when he leaves and I had to add a bonus pic of that too haha

Anyway, I'm having fun with it lol

I kept thinking to have a meta reference to The Big Merman AU in the Giant Pietro AU, just cuz... But did lead for some cute interaction between them~ This would be after they are finally dating for a few months and still living at the mansion (before Genosha). Such a difference in Pietro's demeanor after finally being able to be more to his true self and be in love for real this time, more than just a crush he'll loathe himself for having.

And I also went an animated a pec bounce bc it kept feeling like I should for that frame haha I hadn't done one successfully before, but I tried! Been getting a bit more bold with animating smaller things... I'm glad for it tho!

Yes he does! Idk if fixing that tower will be that easy tho 👀

(Also most of the lines are taken directly from the show so blame season 5 for the corny lines)

Damn, it's been 5 days since my last post, and it feels like a month, it seems like I'm actually addicted to the Internet..

So, how are you guys doing?Heh

I really wasn't sure about posting just one pic at a time or not, but I guess I'm just dumping all the ones I had so far of the original version of The Big Merman AU! Tho for the original, I'll just be calling it The Giant Merman! Also the second pic is an alt of this one (I included both the shaded and non shaded just so people can see his coloring better).

I honestly don't have a whole lot figured out so far and the differences, but obviously they are still quite similar to Bobby and Pietro in looks but also in personality a bit. I think they also kind of grew as their own characters just by being in a different kind of setting, so I felt it worked branching off. I came up with the names Sylvanus for the mer and Ronan for the human.

I still am trying to figure out if I'd have it where Sylvanus actually didn't speak English at first, but if he didn't, I think he would learn surprisingly fast bc he's very intelligent. I think Ronan would also be a bit more into science and would basically spend a lot of time tutoring Sylvanus on language and all he knows about how the world works. I think Sylvanus might actually get better at spelling than Ronan is haha One other difference I guess would be that he'd be buck ass naked when he first comes to land haha I guess there are a bit more similarities to Splash with some of this. Regular fish out of water kind of story. But I think it might be fun to have as a book maybe if I can get that going~

I hope you guys also enjoy these original versions! I still will continue having fun with the mer AU as is with Bobby and Pietro as well, but I did also want to do this!

I didn't settle on ages, but they are over 20 in this and Ronan is 6ft and Sylvanus in human form is about 6'4". Still about 80ft in mer form.
