4 Ways To Save Money and Live Comfortably
Photo by Marco Verch via Flickr under Creative Commons License 2.0 4 Ways To Save Money and Live Comfortably Many people have struggled to find ways to save money when they don't make very much money. The problem seems to be 'out of their control' in some way and 'the best that they can do' for the time being. Those are all normal circumstances in a temporary sense but it should never be a permanent solution. Saving money should be a permanent solution, or at least be a long term solution. It is also a choice to do either one of these. Financial planning is just as important as your current monthly bills. Financial planning takes quite a bit of self-control, smart investing and willingness to live more comfortably. This is a practice of those that are secure and happy with their life as it is. For that matter, they are always prepared, organized, and enjoying life.
Here are 4 ways to save money and live comfortably:
1. Open a savings account for short-term and long-term goals Yes, that means save for emergencies, unexpected expenses, and retirement. Things happen unexpectedly and preparing for the unexpected or unfavorable pressures in life is not something we want to always think about. But waiting for something to happen then scrambling to fix it is not a very good idea either, is it? If you have children or even if you're never want to be a parent, you still have loved ones don't you? Prepare for life after the show is over with a retirement investments, savings and a secure insurance plan. Medicare is great but most of the time it is not enough once you're in the retirement stage of life. You definitely don't want to wait until you're ill, elderly, or you and your loved ones are faced with a sudden death. 2. Keep More Than One Source of Income Working a nine to five is something people do all the time without a care in the world. But what happens if they suddenly lose their primary source of income and/or become ill or injured? This is why you should save money in advance in case of a temporary life struggle. It may not be a lot of money but it can at least help during a rough patch in life. Temporary life struggles are usually transitions to a downward spiral of debts, bad credit, excessive medical bills, and even depression. Military-friendly banks are very resourceful with investment services, retirement plans and offering insurance for life's adventures. Find employment.... 3. Be Good to Yourself This is a given. You should always be good to yourself. If you're not good to yourself, how do you expect someone else to be? Treat yourself to lunch sometimes. Take the family on vacation once a year or every other year. The good part about this is, you can save to take a vacation and enjoy the wonderful wonders in life if you have multiple sources of income. One source can be to pay monthly bills, others can be used for savings and investments. Check your credit regularly, not only for purchasing power but to make sure no one has stolen your identity or you haven't forgotten about a debt that has grown out of control. Learn more out identity theft.... 4. Have Fun All the while you are saving, investing, vacationing, and working, you should also be having fun. I kid you not, some people don't even know how to have fun. They feel just because they are in a bad situation life is over and it's just work, bed, repeat situation. Having fun can reap rewards for your mental, emotional, and physical health. Ignoring this could lead to depression, anxiety and other issues with loved ones that make life enjoyable. Just enjoy them! Laugh a little, find some humor in the comedy club downtown or watch a funny movie. Rewarding yourself for hard work and dedication is the ultimate key finding the lighter side of life. I have lived this before and have pulled out of it, so I'm speaking from experience. Enjoying life is not a crime. Living life comfortably and making smart savings decisions can lead to a healthy, uplifting, successful lifestyle.

Travel Passion
There seems to be tricks of the trade when it comes to travel. Those that travel seem to be stuck in the middle of it. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, traveling doesn't have to be dreadful and expensive. Around the holidays, flights fill up like the Black Friday line in Walmart. They jack up the price so high you have to decide if you really need want to go (unless you can afford double priced tickets). Again, I come in, and it's like this big ray of sunshine. People that travel all the time are passionate about their experience. I know this first hand because my sister travels a lot and she is very passionate about her travel experience. From the flight to the hotel to her entire stay wherever she's going all the way home, she has a passion. That's what I call Travel Passion.
