"Mr Takumi and Mr Nuri pointed out this version sounded like something you might hear at the public baths in a ryokan hotel. Come to think of it, it does sound kind of generic, like the mood music at a public baths chain. So it had to go!"

"'Something elegant but emotional...but also elegant...' was the request. This piece tries to capture Kazuma's inner strength and movingly gallant character. If you listen carefully, you may even feel the keen edge of Karuma perhaps...?"

"I initially began composing this without looking at any visuals from this title, drawing on the music of the very first Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney game. But the solemn majesty of the in-game graphics meant it wasn't a good fit, so, yup, it was dropped!"

"I had many failed attempts at creating something that properly portrayed the feel of the era in which the game is set. This version that was used in the end was actually the first one I wrote. That happens a lot in game development."

"This ended up being too similar to the 'Ryunosuke Naruhodo - Objection!' theme, so it wasn't used. It has an energy somewhere between Ryunosuke's personal theme and the version of 'Overture to Adventures' that was eventually used."
