Zexion nodded and put it in the sink, quickly turning on the water in order to wash the bowl out. “Didn’t think you’d be one to turn down sweets, Yuffie.” He said curiously, glancing at her from the corner of his eye. “You okay?

He continued to move around the kitchen, removing the apron as he cleaned the counters.

Shooting her head up, she rubbed her tummy lightly before placing her hand down to her side. "Oh i'm fine!" Lie.

"I- Can i just have a drink of water please?" She laughed out nervously.

Operation Fake Dating Begins. [Yuffie + Joshua]

Joshua had spent his time by finding out what made his father tick. A rather silent man, usually cowering in the shadow of his mother. Joshua had found that he would tick nervously whenever she wasn’t in the room, a quirk that Joshua quickly found out was only made worse when Joshua began tapping his fingers along the table. He smirked to himself when the two women came back into the room all bright and smiling. Looks like Yuffie had done it. And Joshua had sucessfully made his father a complete mess.

“Are the dishes all clean?” Joshua asked Yuffie curiously, raising his eyebrow in such a way that would tell the girl he meant a little bit more than what he was saying. He hoped the ravenette would understand the hidden meaning and give him a clear answer in return.

Walking back into the dining room, she made her way back to her seat as she gazed at Joshua who asked her a very simple question that obviously held a subtle hidden message in it too.

"All clean!" Winking at him playfully, she then proceeded to laugh for a brief second and grin widely, pretty much over the moon that she had actually finally done it.

Mission accomplished!

Yuffie sat back down casually next to her lovely 'boyfriend', Joshua, shooting him a small and friendly smile as she placed her hands on her lap. A little more comfortable to be in this situation now, since she had cleared the threatening tension her and Joshua's mother had, the few hours before.

“Nah, I can barely take care of myself, to be honest. I’m always forgetting to eat,” Zack said sheepishly. Sometimes, he really did just rush things too much.

At her next comment, Zack laughed out loud and scratched the back of his head. “I’m pretty hot myself?” he repeated with a raised eyebrow and an amused smile. He appraised the girl, noticing that she said it without a second thought. “Wow, thanks. What’s your name? I’m Zack, by the way. Zack Fair,” he said happily, bending down towards her and the kitten.

Not really remembering the blurted out compliment from herself to him, she blinked, tilting her head. "Huh? Hot yourself? What are you-... did i really say that?" Laughing nervously, she begun to rub her neck.

"Sorry.. i.. uh tend to say random things.. without noticing.."

"Oh.. I'm the one and only-" Twirling around on the spot, she gave a big grin. "Yuffie Kisaragi!..... Zack? Cool name!" She chimed out playfully.

“I dunno, I’ve seen it done before.” Zexion told her, sliding the tray into the already preheated oven. He clicked the door shut with his hip as he grabbed the bowl he’d used to mix the batter. “Want this too, or can I wash it?”

As she continued to eat the left over batter that had covered the head of the wooden spoon she looked down at the bowl that he had offered. About to accept it, she heard a small rumble in the pit of her stomach making her stomach churn and turn.

She sat back, shaking her head.

"No thank you"

"I-I'm good with just this.." Holding the spoon up for a brief second, she placed it back in her mouth, being the stubborn one, she didn't want to show Zexion was right about getting sick over batter. Must be from all the sweets she ate earlier today, if batter was the only sweet thing she ate today then maybe she could of handled the bowl too.. But no, she was getting an ache.. unfortunately.

Too much sweeeeeets. She grumbled mentally in her head.

ooc; i really apologise! I feel so ... so... unreliable. I told everyone i'd do replies last sunday, but oh gosh, I'm just so tired from exams..

I promise that during this week i’ll be getting through all my replies. I really apologise for keeping people waiting and the canons, we possibly planned to happen between my characters and yours, that were put to a hold for a week or two, but i’ve just been on the laptop day and night focusing on exams the last few weeks, that i just need a few naps to catch up on sleep and to chill outside for a bit away from the computer. I promise that i WILL be getting through replies this week. I’m really sorry and i hope yous forgive me<3 D: Iloveyous.

I hate it when people make status' like these ones. They make it out as if being bi-sexual is wrong. And by the way you spelt nerves wrong, and i seriously don't know why this status was even needed. Like congratulations if you like girl parts. Do you want a medal? I remember this one time, I said i was attracted to a guy friend of mine, and you know what a few of my girl best friends said "But riana, he's gay"

So what? He's still a guy that's attractive, i don't believe sexuality interferes whether i'm attracted to someone or not. They even said "Riana don't go for a bisexual they'll cheat on you with a guy.." Okay, you know what, if i were to go for a straight guy, there's a possibility that they can cheat on me with a girl too? Sometimes i don't even know what the fudge my friends are talking about. So what if people are bisexual or not? So what if people like girls, so what if people like guys, like seriously, What the fudge? "Don't go for a bisexual because they'll cheat on you?" That's so not a reasonable excuse, Being bisexual does not mean they're going to cheat on you with a guy or even anyone for that fact. If they're committed and faithful, they won't even consider leaving you for anyone, and i know for a fact that, that guy i'm attracted to is indeed faithful. He is the sweetest guy at my school. And you know what, Fudge all them people who think being bisexual has it's negatives. I really don't care if majority of the society are all straight, because i really believe sexualities are not set in stone. We're either attracted to someone or not.. What gets me so much more upset is my friend having to say this "Riana, guys who are gay have butt sex, so when they stick it...in your girl part, you don't know where its been it could of been in another guy" ....Can i remind you we're in high school and we're sixteen, and who said i was going to even have sex with that guy!? All i said was he's attractive and omg i can't even. That theory or whatever the heck that was, was not even needed. I seriously don't understand what are peoples problems..

And what the fudge is this.. Guy on guy is gross but girl on girl is ok? Man what the fudge. Of course you're going to say that, you're a guy who's possibly straight, Of course you won't find guy on guy 'attractive' but do you really have to say its gross? Guys who like guys and girls who like girls, is just about the same as guys liking girls and girls liking guys. Yeah yeah we're all different genders, But liking someone is all the same. I don't even know what I'm talking about now, i'm just rambling, but whenever i hear someone say comments like these, i get really offended. That's all.

“Oh I’m sure someone would eat them.” Zexion shook his head, beginning to pour the cupcake batter into the tray.

He looked up at her and frowned. “It isn’t something to celebrate, Yuffie. It’s not.” He warned her. “If you try to celebrate it I’m going to be very upset. It’s April 27, but don’t go spreading that information around.” He added the last part under his breath.

Sighing, she continued to playfully pout. "Ohkay.. fine.."

"But cupcakes it is!" She stared at the wooden spoon covered in cupcake batter before pointing at it innocently.

"....can i have that spoon for a minute..please?"

At the girl’s words, Joshua’s mother raised an eyebrow before setting the knife down along with the rest of her kitchen utensils. She was still skeptical of the girl, but no matter how rough or harsh she was with her, the girl still professed her love for the boy. She gave a small nod and straightened out her skirt before looking back up at the girl. “Well alright my dear, you’re off the hook for now. But don’t think I won’t have my eye on you two alright?”

She gave a much more pleasant smile this time, a real one. “And please accept my apologies for my rather harsh words earlier Yuffie dear. I just had to be sure that you truly did love Joshua.” She gave a bit of a giggle, almost similar to Joshua’s. “I can get a bit carried away sometimes, hehe~”

She finished cleaning off the small portion of the dishes that were left before turning back to the girl. “Now, why don’t we go back inside and finish up this dinner properly hmm?” She tilted her head slightly.

“I can get a bit carried away sometimes, hehe~” Yuffie sighed in relief and smiled at the mother. Merely laughing along with her, her opinions on the mother changed to thoughts of goodness, but her guard was still up and she still had to be careful.

"Oh no problem! I can be a little rude too.." She laughed nervously as she scratched the back of her neck. "Your son's a great guy... of course i truly love him.."

“Now, why don’t we go back inside and finish up this dinner properly hmm?” The ravenette mindlessly watched the mother clean off the rest of the dishes before looking up and smiling wider than before. "I'd love to!" She excitedly chimed out.

“I’m plenty of fun, it’s just my definition of the word is a bit different than yours.” Zexion said with a shrug, putting the spoon down as he began pulling out cupcake tins. He’d rather read a book than have a party, it was just what he liked.

“Chocolate.” He told her, coming back up from the cupboard “I like chocolate.” He continued on his way.

“Of course I’ll eat it. It can’t be as bad as anything my stepfather attempts.” He grimaced at the memory of ‘spaghetti’ night. Needless to say they’d gone out for pizza.

Zack looked at Yuffie with an exasperated smile. “You sure like cats don’t you?” he said. “I don’t think I could ever take care of an animal, to be honest. They’re so confusing.”

He shook his head and reached over for the cat, taking it from her. He looked it over and set it back down on the floor to see it better, and put a hand on his chin. “I don’t know…he’s pretty cute, just like yourself, you know,” he added in with a sly smile.

"Well i see milly like a little baby... and she's pretty easy to look after" Laughing again.

"Wh-what?" Scratching the back of her neck, she hummed. "...Really? Well you're pretty hot yourself" She confidently spoke aloud before bending down a little and getting on eye level with the kitten that was pawing at the glass.

Joshua gave a small sigh as he saw the two walk out of the room together. Hopefully she would play nice in there, of course he was referring to both women in this case. Yuffie had the capability to throw his mother through the window if she got angered. But his mother on the other hand, would be able to reduce the poor ravenette to tears in a matter of seconds with her words.

In the kitchen, Joshua’s mother began taking the dishes Yuffie had placed in the sink and washing them off, slowly and carefully. She picked up a particularly sharp knife that had been added in to the bunch and began drying it off while looking at the girl beside her. “So Yuffie dear, do you really love Joshua?” She tilted her head, a smirk similar to that of her son’s crossed the woman’s face. “Now don’t lie to me girl, I know there’s something going on here, and I won’t stop until I get to the bottom of it. Yoshiya doesn’t just bring in trash off the curb and claim that it’s his girlfriend.” She spat her words at the poor girl as if they were acid, the small knife still being dried in her hands. She raised an eyebrow at Yuffie expectantly. She wanted an answer, and she wanted one now.

She leaned up against the edge of the kitchen counter, feeling a little threatened -mostly scared, with the way Joshua's mother held the small knife in her hands. Of course she was just drying it, but with the way Yuffie thought of situations, she could easily imagine the woman driving the knife into her if she answered incorrectly.

Now don’t lie to me girl, I know there’s something going on here, and I won’t stop until I get to the bottom of it. Yoshiya doesn’t just bring in trash off the curb and claim that it’s his girlfriend.

Yuffie tilted her head the other way, rolling her eyes in the process, another bitter comment from the woman, it wasn't the first and she was starting to get used to it, but it still irritated a heck lot, making her hands curl into tight fists.

Trash.. Is that really what his mother thought of her? She didn't look all that bad compared to the girls on the streets. In fact she looked pretty decent and rather more innocent looking if there were comparisons involved, honestly, her dress wasn't that awfully reviling, but I guess she had extreme high standards, actually correction, not 'guess', know.

"Of course i love him..." As a brother or a pet dog - So she wasn't really lying. "I'm not lying either..."

Only receiving silence from the mother, she continued. "I'm not sure why you dislike me, but there's more to me than what I'm wearing..." Surprisingly and maturely said, she swallowed and pushed herself off against the edge of the counter before clasping her hands together casually.

Nervously waiting for a reply.

Hopefully she won't get stabbed..with that knife.. or with words. either one.. :/ xDD
