((Anybody want to start an RP? I'm bored and I need to get active here again.))
Yooo!!!
Who wants to hit me up for an RP??? It’s feelin’ pretty dead up in here!!!
Shoot me an ask if you’re interested and I promise to get back to y’all on it by next weekend!!!
I’m going to be out working on a farm with Vaati-mun for the majority of next week starting tomorrow so we’ll be gone a while!
But I look forward to hopefully some messages in my ask when we get back!!!
Cirno let out another yawn and followed behind Vaati. The normally lively girl seemed exhausted, being rather silent the entire time the two first years walked. Even her reactions became dulled, it took her a few moments to register the painting even speaking. Regardless, she appreciated what the young boy was doing for her, even though he seemed kind of weird.
She let herself be pulled along by Vaati, but really didn’t think much of it. She hadn’t even payed attention to the painting— too boring! When the purple-haired boy apologized, though, she didn’t understand why.
"…Huh? It’s okay, your hand is warm!" she grinned. There he was, his face going red again. Weiiird. Cirno thought for a moment. “When we get to the dorms, do I have to sleep in the boy’s dorm?" she asked him, looking a bit worried. “I don’t wanna sleep with the boys, but if I go in the girl’s dorm, I’ll get caught in the morning."
Vaati then realized that she had been too exhausted to reaaly pay attention to what the painting had been saying. "Ah," he spoke, "the painting said this kind of thing happens all the time with first-years. You can sleep in the common room, and then we can explain situation to the prefects tomorrow morning. They'll understand."
The two kids soon reached the entrance to the Hufflepuff dorms and spoke the password, allowing them entry. Vaati stepped inside first, glancing around to see if anybody was awake. However, the common room was empty. "Okay, nobody's here," Vaati whispered as he stepped aside so Cirno could get in. "The couch is right over there... Um... Is there anything else you might need before I retire as well?"

Teruteru held his finger to his lips and made a hushing sound. "Look, can we not talk about it in here? I don’ expect y’t’come with me anywhere, but if you’re not all that fond’a me, you might like this boy a whole lot less."
Teruteru sighed and glanced over at the 3rd bed wearily again. "So just c’mon and get out’a there’n I’ll tell ya." The rounder Hufflepuff was definitely too distressed and in a hurry to get out to bother covering his accent too much. At least he was understandable, still.
Vaati opened his mouth to complain some more, but then decided against it when he realized this kid was dead-serious about not waking up their third roommate. Perhaps it was wise to just follow Teru's advice and get out of there.
The two Hufflepuffs walked out of their dorm room and entered the common room, whereupon Vaati immediately turned around and folded his arms irritably. "So, in yet another example of how the gods of fate hate me so, they have decided to make you my roommate," he began, not even allowing Teru to respond. "So here's how this is going to work. You will not hit on me, you will not act like a general creep towards me, bowels of the Dark World, don't even talk to me unless I talk to you first. Do we understand each other?"

Teruteru was still half asleep, to be quite honest. He had attempted to ask what time it was before he even realized who he was looking at, but couldn’t say anything over the other boy’s cries of despair.
He looked at Vaati for a few more seconds before snapping wide awake and glancing quickly over to their third room mate’s bed. He was either gone or still asleep, but all Teru knew was god this kid better keep it down or someone they’d both regret putting up with would wake up.
“Shush, darn it! Ya gotta keep it down or he’ll wake up!” Teruteru hissed with a quick, wary glance in the direction of Komaeda’s bed. He hoped the younger Hufflepuff would get the hint. But just to be on the safe side he quickly hopped out of bed and started throwing on his uniform and house robe and grabbed his comb quickly before hurrying to the door.
“Hurry up!” he whispered back to Vaati. He knew at least as much that if Vaati couldn’t stand Teruteru, he’d feel utterly violated by their third room mate.
Vaati quieted and glared at Teru. "I refuse to go anywhere with you, Chunky Puffs."
The other Hufflepuff crossed his arms and turned his back on Teru. But then something else Teru had said clicked in Vaati's mind. "Wait. Who's 'he'?"

It had been a long first day at Hogwarts, and an equally long first night as well. After all was said and done, the newly-appointed Hufflepuff just crawled into his bed without even bothering to look at who his roommates were. The very second his head touched his pillow, Vaati was out like a light.
The next morning, Vaati awoke, sitting up straight in his bed, stretching his arms and yawning to ward away the extra sleepiness. As his mind became coherent, Vaati happened to glance at the bed next to him, whose occupant was just waking up as well.
Said occupant being an uncomfortably-familiar, rotund boy with a stupidly-designed hairstyle that had been marred by the bedhead effect.
Vaati and Teruteru locked eyes for several uncomfortable seconds. Vaati was the first to speak.
"No. No no no, it's not fair. Of all possible people, why you?!"
Teru opened his mouth to speak, but Vaati abruptly cut him off in a voice loud enough to be heard in every corner of the castle.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Vaati scoffed. "You Slytherins still believe in that superior House nonsense? They're just glorified fraternities. none are better than the others because they're all equally foolish and nothing more than a way to split students apart and pit them against one another to stunt their full potential. I'll leave you with your contraband for now. But if anything suspicious starts happening around this school, expect to see me again."
Vaati turned to leave but paused for a moment. "And I now have my proof too. But I'll keep it to myself unless you start causing trouble. Remember that."
And then the Hufflepuff was gone.

Vaati, unimpressed, shot an equally-nasty glare at Tidus. "I'm not doing this to be a hero. I don't believe in that whole altruistic, good-for-the-sake-of-good nonsense Harry Potter preaches about in his books and interviews. I'm doing this because that book is a threat to this school, and therefore by extension is a threat to me. This is me saving my own ass, not being a hero. Besides, one day I'll be greater than you, and that long-dead Dark Wizard's words will be useless to you then."

Vaati clicked his tongue. "There really is no other reason you would read such a thing. Having that book goes beyond simple curiosity. Lord Stupid-Name had a way with words that brought a lot of people over to his side when he was alive. And almost ALL of them were Slytherins. You may not think so now, but that book WILL work its magic on you over time. Get rid of it, or I'll find someone to MAKE you get rid of it."
Vaati had spent over a week and a half searching for any information he could find regarding “Walpurgis”, and at first his searches proved futile. The teachers responded with shock that he had known the...

Vaati's eyes narrowed. "I think you know exactly what I'm talking about. That book you're carrying... I think I can guess its title. Secrets of the Knights of Walpurgis. Am I correct?"
Vaati smirked triumphantly. "As I recall, that book is illegal to own, and its very existence is outlawed. Why, then, do you have it? Unless you're thinking of continuing that simpleton of a Dark Lord's petty scheme... And the way you defended his rather retarded name, whatever the hell it is... Do you fancy yourself his disciple or some nonsense like that? Lord Baldilocks is dead, Tidus, and history made it clear his actions and motivations were in the wrong. Do yourself a favor and put that book where it belongs: at the bottom of a Muggle landfill."
Vaati had spent over a week and a half searching for any information he could find regarding “Walpurgis”, and at first his searches proved futile. The teachers responded with shock that he had known the name and would not explain anything. However, after searching...
Vaati's icy glare could have frozen Death Mountain. "I know what that book is about, Tidus."
Vaati smirked at Tidus's shocked reaction. "So, I was half-right about that being Lord Moldytit's diary. It's actually a record of his time before forming the Death Eaters. The Knights of Walpurgis. So, planning to follow in Voldymold's footsteps, are you?"

Vaati had spent over a week and a half searching for any information he could find regarding "Walpurgis", and at first his searches proved futile. The teachers responded with shock that he had known the name and would not explain anything. However, after searching through the Restricted section of the library after nightfall, Vaati found what he was looking for; a book about infamous dark wizards, including Voldemort.
It was then that Vaati's suspicions were confirmed: Walpurgis was a knightly order organized by Voldemort before he became well-known: basically the precursors to the Death Eaters. Tidus was indeed following in the footsteps of the late Dark Wizard, and he was doing it right inside Hogwarts!
There was no way he could let this go. He couldn't go to a teacher yet; not without proof of Tidus's wrongdoings. But he was going to get his proof today. Vaati eventually found Tidus deep within the Restricted section of the library, this time in a different spot. As if that would have thrown off Vaati.
Vaati folded his arms and stared at the Slytherin. "Tidus, we need to talk."

Vaati smirked. "Very well. As you wish. I have other things to do anyway, so I'll be off."
The Hufflepuff first-year began to walk away, but stopped for a moment and glanced back towards Tidus. "I look forward to our next... meeting."
With that, the Hufflepuff left. Though he had left Tidus calmly and smoothly, his mind raced at what had transpired. He had seen the letters on the book's cover change, but not before he had already caught a glimpse of it, catching the words "Secrets" and "Walpurgis".
Tidus had been acting very suspicious about that book, almost as if it was dangerous, beyond being merely a tome of forbidden knowledge. Whoever, or whatever, Walpurgis was, Vaati wanted to find out.
A thought ran through his mind as he left the library. Could this Tidus person be thinking of following in that Dark Lord What's-His-Name's footsteps?
The thought was troubling, to say the least. Though Voldemort paled in comparison to some of the evil wizards and demon kings native to Vaati's world, a Dark Wizard was something far beyond the caliber of a first-year magic student.
And now that he had drawn Tidus's attention, a part of Vaati began to fear that he may have inadvertently gotten himself caught up in something big. Something dangerous. Something possibly even deadly.

Vaati shrugged. "I was bored. I wander when I'm bored. I just happened to encounter you while perusing the library. I'm no stalker, I assure you."
Vaati supposed he should be flattered that this older Slytherin had taken a liking to him. He had been half-expecting Tidus to punch his lights out anyway. "I am curious, though," Vaati continued, leaning nonchalantly against one of the heavy bookshelves. "Why are you being so secretive about that book? Is it that Lord Moldywart character's diary or something?"

Vaati unfolded his arms and held out his hand. "My name's Vaati. What's yours?"

Vaati's eye twitched. So this guy was a bully. Yep, stereotypical Slytherin. No matter; Vaati had dealt with enough bullies to know exactly what set them off. Besides, he was in a place where the staff was actually competent. If he was beaten senseless, he would just take it to the teachers. Vaati didn't care in the slightest about the stigma surrounding the concept of "snitches". It was nothing more than attempting to shame someone for doing the right thing.
"Well, that's wonderful to hear," Vaati remarked. "But here's the thing. Unlike the bludgers, I'm smarter than you. I am also fairly certain you're bluffing. If you lay a hand on me, I'll make sure everyone in the castle hears about it. You'll only be digging yourself and your house deeper into your graves. I'd rather not do that, as I am becoming friends with a member of your house, but I will not hesitate if you push me."
Tidus quickly left his room, grasping a book in his arms. He was in a hurry, and seemed nervous. In fact, every time somebody looked, or even glanced at him, he would speed up to get out of their line of sight.
He would slow...

Vaati raised an unimpressed eyebrow. Here was one of the more typical members of the Slytherin house. This guy wasn't nearly as friendly as Cirno. "Someone's feeling confrontational," Vaati observed. "If you don't want me to go running off to tell anyone about your activities, I suggest you adopt a more civil tone with me, Slytherin."
A part of Vaati feared he would regret those words, but he was not about to show it. The Hufflepuff first-year crossed his arms and awaited the Slytherin's response.
