Grime is as it says on the tin, Grimey...

...this is all hardboiled drives to talk to Grimy Artists, they’re everywhere, but in LDN there’d been a feeling mounting...an electrical current of intense feelings... Myspace was brewing, although I was more BlackPlanet and ninety eight AskJeeves, the internets were moving from modem speeds to break neck speeds, JME at the forefront...

...everyone wanted a piece... what was He selling? to be honest I had a long essay planned, but simply JME is all beats, bars, camaraderie, dreams & a calm punch you in the lip, bring a shank out, & a collared up type of guy...

...we only met once, but that was enough... his latest stuff, Blam, in particular, set LDN on fire, burnt down the Town actually... if Tempa T had come with his Album at the same time, there would have been even more fire, you’re welcome on this one suggestion, *akwaba, as in you’re welcome & therefore privy to know that if you were around LDN at the time it arrived it was at its upmost excitement... very much the place to be, it was all very New York The Tunnel era days but more Intellectual, different...
