i just really hate how they purposely sought out manon, dragged her through the mud in dream academy, and continued to mistreat her in terms of dance formations, line distributions, behind the scenes content, ignoring and refusing to include her in magazine articles and photo shoots im so sick of it

and it’s ALWAYS going to be the black girl. the company has repeatedly pushed her out of group activities despite claiming they wanted a ‘global girl group’ 😭 also wdym manon found out with the rest of the world that she was removed from all pinky up promotions?? a shit song btw, katseye didn’t to through all that suffering just to talk over shitty beats with lyrics that don’t make cents nor dimes its ANNOYYING MEEEE

but it’s so crazy bc a lot of katseye fans were brought in by the appeal of diversity and manon herself … the mistreatment and racism towards black girls in the music industry needs to be studied and im incredibly exhausted by it all
