Here’s the France au, and here are like some details abt it I suppose

• Dennis is staying at his eclectic aunt and uncle’s house in France during the summer. (Bc he was born in Nebraska so ig it’s an aunt/uncle)

• his aunt chose an academic path (I KNOW HE WAS THE FIRST TO GO TO COLLEGE BUT SHE’S NOT IMMEDIATE FAMILY shhhh) and she met his uncle there and got married

• His mother wants her youngest to see the world bc all her other children left the nest

•his aunt and uncle have this thing where they host a college student thats studying history, archeology, literature, French etc.

•the summer Dennis is staying there a PhD student named Robby Robinavitch is staying there

•Dennis and Robby start to have this sort of relationship where they tease eachother, they both are head over heels but they can’t say it bc yk the time period even though Dennis’ aunt and uncle are extremely open minded and supportive

Sooooo, yeah!
