Ok let’s start with something really easy.

Flowery and Rudy. I’m definetley not the first to notice this, but if you’re paying attention, it’s pretty godamn obvious they have parallels to each other, even down to their facial expressions and hair.

There’s also MUCH dialogue between them of the days gone by, how flowery was “Asgore’s collage classmate”. There’s also the whole romantic tension thing they’ve got going on, something heavily implied between Rudy & Asgore from the anniversary alarm clock dialogue, and Asgore giving flowers to Rudy ingame.

Also, Flowery calls Asgore “Gorey”, the same as Rudy.

Of course, Flowery isn’t just meant to be a one to one stand in for Rudy, there’s a bit more to him than that, but the connections are plain.

Now what’s suspicious about all this, and I’m glad others noticed too, is how Flowery also reminded me of the knight. The floating around, the afterimages and such. He’s the only flower capable of doing this. Hell, he even put up a pretty good fight against the knight itself.

What does that say about RUDY? Is he heckin omg knight theory confirmed?? The old Rudy is gone, metaphorically cut down and replaced by this monster? Idk, I guess we’ll have to wait and see, but it is very strange.
