🌲🌲🌲Are you feeling lost, unsteady, unsure? Me too. At the moment, we quite understandably fear what the future might hold for us. Yet, not knowing our future is no reason to worry, though. I know - that sounds like the most insane thing to say, but worrying truly only causes confusion in our minds. How to find your Strength and GROUND yourself... What is grounding? Finding something in the here-and-now upon which we can focus our attention, bringing us back into reality and easing tension in our hearts and minds. I’m a Taurean, so I LOVE grounding and seem to need it. 💫💫💫 So how do you do it? Firstly, and most simply, you can become aware, really aware of the connection your feet have to the ground. If you can, take off your shoes and socks, plant your feet, from your heels to all your toes. Feel the ground beneath you - soil, carpet, concrete - it doesn’t matter as long as it is solid. Just be aware. Even if you can’t remove your shoes, wriggle your toes in your shoes and know that the Earth beneath you is supporting you in whatever you do. If you like, also close your eyes, focusing on smells, sounds and the feel of the air on your skin. 🌲 To many, this is going to sound like a simple, useless exercise, but the difference it makes to your day can be phenomenal!
