Well, it's been quite a while since I logged into tumblr and actually used it....like, a year while. Tracer and I have since moved barns twice, completed in our first show together, and now we're prepping for next year's show season to hopefully show hunter jumpers. My boyfriend and I are working on building our barn so I can move Tracer home as soon as possible and continue our work, along with bringing along our ottb filly we got in January. How're all my followers doing? What's an update on your lives with your ponies?

We finally got our lives together yesterday and loped instead of cantering like our lives depended on it. 3 hours. Of riding. I feel like I was hit by a freight train.

This is really quite a big deal. A tremendous amount of modern research ends up being sold to journals which require unreasonable payments to access it and only pay the original authors a pittance. It’s nice to see an agency like NASA deliberately widebanding its findings.

Not sure if people fully realize just how big of a deal this is. THIS is how science is advanced. Not through biased corporate research, business secrets, marketing, paywalls and patent wars. But through open, uncensored and unrestricted public access to knowledge.

I’ve had a few people ask me about my PayPal info over the last few months and I hadn’t felt comfortable accepting help. Now that I’m looking at more time in treatment and trying to accept when I can’t do something on my own I’m going to post my acct email.

While I’m not asking for help, I am so thankful for it. Fighting this eating disorder, trying to come out breathing on the other side has been so much harder than I anticipated and so much of that is complicated by finances.
