With great sadness, I’ve come to the decision of canceling the Howler Awards.  I’d like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who sent in nominations – hopefully next year we’ll have more interest and awareness for these awards.  

To our wonderful SessKag creators, I hope you all know how loved, appreciated, and respected you are by all of us.  Thank you for all that you do for this ship and this fandom!

Lots of great nominations!

Hello Smut-Lovers!

We have a lot of great nominations thus far, and I am happy to see the participation from those in our little ship fandom! <3

Certain categories need help, though!  I’d like to have at least 5 nominations in each category!

The list below has the fanfiction categories which need love, plus the number of works nominated to reach the goal of 5:

Vanilla Smut - 1

LGBTQIA+ Smut - 5

Solo Smut - 3

As for NSFW Fanart nominations go, we have not received any!  

We understand this, however, as most fanart creators put their NSFW works in their Patreon (or similar site), and people don’t want to upload those private works into the GoogleForm (and we wouldn’t want or expect people to either!!).  

That being said, for the awards’ purposes, it is perfectly fine to upload censored, “Tumblr” versions of our popular SessKag creators’ works into the GoogleForm!

If there still isn’t any fanart nominated by the end of the nomination period (or not enough nominations in general), we’ll just drop the fanart portion of the awards for this go-around.

Is it 3 nominations for both fanfic and fanart or 3 for fanfic and 3 for fanart?

You're asking if a creator is both an artist and an author, can they nominate 3 works of their art, as well as 3 works of their fanfiction?

If that's the question: yes!

Also, keep in mind that the rules have been UPDATED to allow ANYONE to nominate, as well as self-nominate!
