House Grebel is a lesser house of the crownlands (within the present ASOIAF timeline). They're vassals of House Rykker, although previously vassals to House Darklyn before the Defiance of Duskendale.
House Grebel is still a recent house, having been founded in 24 BC, by Connway Grebel, a master mason turned Steward for House Darklyn. For his excellent work for the Lord Darklyn, at the time, Connway was given a small patch of land between Blackwater Bay and Clackclaw point where Connway built his own small keep, which was first named Gwendys rest (named after Connways wife) but eventually became Grebeside when his son Dyllan took over the title and land six years later.
House Grebel has kept its craftsmen origins throughout the generations, with each member usually specialising in atleast some type of trade or craft. However this has put them into a strange sort of limbo in terms of standing amongst other houses, with some looking down upon their humble beginnings and continued trades, while on the other hand the House seems to have many skilled craftsmen that take on many commissions across the Kingdoms.
Apart from its main seat there's a few Grebels that live in the Riverlands, having made a deal with the Freys to put their masonry skills to use helping to maintain the Twins in exchange for the small estate known as Greyside, the deal having been struck by Connways daughter, Maryna Grebel, whom eventually passed it to Dyllans second son.

I've been a bit bogged down with uni work the last two weeks, so I haven't written much, BUT! I did sketch two OCs who are (for now) alive during the mainline series. Broyd, current Lord of House Grebel (and has been since the Defiance of Duskendale) and his cousin Meralith, only character (outside my personal and secret headcannons and writings) to be married to a cannon character. Because it made too much sense politically/narratively wise.
Kylda, Kelly, and Kenric are the three children of Ser Trent Grebel and Lady Cendal of Buckle. Kylda was their first born in 42 AC, with Kelly being born in 44 AC and Kenric being born a year after in 45 AC. The trio were raised as stonemasons by their father and grandfather. Kylda became partically close with a girl from House Frey named Brynela. During her grandfathers trips to conduct business at the Twins, which he'd bring Kylda with. While Kelly and Kenric became close with some peers from House Charlton. As Kylda grew up, her and Brynela became very close, with the two constantly chasing off the other potential suitors that would come visit, sometimes with thrown stones.
In the meantime, Kelly would marry a stonemason named Finlay of Ramsford, whom she had a son Cayle Grebel and a daughter Lauryn. While Kenric married one Dafne Charlton, they would have two sons, Delmar and Dyllan. Kylda, still unmarried, kept busy with her masonry. Brynela would always join Kylda whenever she'd be hoisted up to work on a loose stone or a crack in one of the towers. However, tragedy struck during one of these repairs, where Kylda fell onto the bridge and passed in front of Brynela in 67 AC. Both Kelly and Kenric were struck by the death of their sister and the two of them pulled away from their work on the Twins much to the dismay of their father, who had become the Grey Ser around that time. But Kenric would eventually have to pick his work back up when he became the Grey Ser a few years later in 89 AC. Kelly and Kenric lived in relative peace for many more years until Kelly passed from old age in 112 AC with Kenric passing a few years later in 119 AC.

The Greyside titles are honorary rather than actual titles. It's mostly so the Greyside Grebels can be like, "Oh, so and so is in charge of Greyside" And so there's always someone that can be the main communicator between the Freys and Grebels.
Also, I finally came up with a motto for the house (I spent like half an hour trying to come up with something, lol)
SPOILERS FOR THE KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOM NOVELLAS!!
I was recently re-reading the mystery knight novella, and when I got to the end during the whole dismantling the second Blackfyre Rebellion, I thought about how it'd be a really funny family reunion. So now it's my own little headcanon that Ser Breckett (same guy that becomes the Lord of House Grebel) joined in the members of House Darklyn that went to Whitewalls to fight the rebels, while House Frey dragged along the current person in charge of Greyside, Ser Keler, a sickly guy but a really good blacksmith (having been taught by Kelvyn, his great uncle).
Another little drawing to break up all the text posts, featuring Mery Grebel (92 AC - 145 AC). I wanted to sketch out some of the fashion of House Grebel once they were a few generations into being Nobles. (Little fun fact, Mery is from Greyside, which is why her jewellery and feather details are grey/silver, whereas Grebels from Grebeside tend to wear yellow/gold jewellery and feathers.)

Gwendys was born in Gulltown to a seamstress mother, her father, having passed a few months before she was born. As she grew up, she was taught how to make and mend clothing by her mother and aunt. The three women ran a small business in Gulltown, where one day a young mason, named Connway, dropped by needing his pants mended, Gwendys found the young mason very friendly and eventually the two became close and then married. They had their daughter Maryna first, then their son Dyllan a year later. Gwendys continued to work as a seamstress even after having her two children, continuing to look after her aging mother and aunt's business up until the family moved to Duskendale so that Connway could find masonry work.
Gwendys picked her seamstress work back up in Duskendale, working for a local business, until her husband was given his Lordship, the name and symbol chosen for the house came from Gwendys favourite animal, the Grebe, a water duck. After the family moved up in the world Gwendys moved to do her seamstress work in Gwendys rest, with Connway, during the construction of the keep, deciding to build Gwendys her own workshop in the keep, which Gwendys used to teach some of her grandchildren and great grandchildren how to sew and mend clothing. Gwendys lived into her early 70s, eventually passing in her sleep, with Dyllan and her granddaughter, Laynne, at her side.

The long (not) awaited post of the Lords of House Grebel. This is the second big post of the summaries of the Lords of the House, from the end of the Dance of Dragons till just before the start of the main series, just because I'm still figuring out how these guys would work with everything going on in the main series.. haha..
Raffety was born and raised in Grebeside as a mason similarly to the last few Grebel Lords. While growing up Raffety was bethrothed to a Lady from House Wendwater. Raffety wanted to make a good impression on his future wife and stowed himself over to their seat, where he met Lady Anica Wendwater, he offered his services to the Wendwaters for a few months but he ended up staying at their keep till he and Anica could be married, but this led to Raffety hiding at the Wendwater's keep with Anica when Grebeside was sacked, till he and his new wife could sneak away to rejoin Raffetys family. They had a daughter Roscelyne around the time that Raffety became Lord Grebel, once he became Lord, he also over saw the continued repairs for Grebeside, till the keep was back to its state before the sacking. To continue his streak of luck he would welcome a son, named Mordred, however Mordreds birth left Anica sickly and she ended up passing soon after. Raffery was pushed to remarry and so he ended up marrying his distant cousin Cira, the two had a daughter named Clair, before Raffety passed, wasting away from a broken heart as the Maesters explained.
Cira was born and raised in Duskendale alongside her younger sister Clair, she learned how to do blacksmith work from her father until his death during the overtake of Grebeside, when her mother, her sister and her escaped to Greykeep with the rest of her family she ended up being taught by her distant relative Osvald. Once the Grebels could return to Grebeside, Cira and Clair were extended an offer to the Maidens day ball, however leading up to it, Clair ended up drowning very suddenly in a river near Grebeside, leaving Cira to attend by herself. After she returned, Cira did not seek out a marriage, preferring to do her blacksmiths work by herself. But when Lord Raffety became widowed, it was decided that Cira should marry him so that their current House head would have some sort of support. Cira hated the idea but was eventually pushed into it. She'd eventually marry him, and the two would have a single daughter, Clair, before Raffety passed. Cira decided to step up and looked after Raffety's children, being the default House head until Mordred came of age, she helped pull the household together, while making sure Morderd learned how to be a Lord, she sent him on trips to Dun Fort and taught him and his sister how to do blacksmith work. Although she didn't spend as much time with her own daughter who took up learning how to be a seamstress from her grandmother, Lady Sabrine Byrch. Once Mordred came of age and Roscelyne had been married off to a Fossoway, Cira set up a small workshop in Duskendale where she lived out her days, teaching her trade to her grandson and eventually passing in her sleep.
Morderd grew up in Grebeside with barely any memories of his parents. As a young child he was glued to his sisters and step mothers sides, always following atleast one of them around. As he grew up and was sent on trips to Dun Fort, but he would send letters back to his sisters, telling them everything that happened. As he grew up he became interested in Knights and asked his relative Ser Mariyan (from Greykeep) If he could squire for him for a few years, to which Ser Mariyan agreed to, allowing Mordred to learn how to be a knight. Once he became an adult and was Knighted by Ser Mariyan, he entered a small level Tourney in the Reach, hoping to prove his prowess, however his opponet spooked his horse causing him to fall off and for the horse to fall on top of him, causing the young Lord to unfortunately pass from his injuries.
Marvyn was born to Ser Geraint and Arrely of White Harbour and was raised as a mason by his father, he was raised alongside his brother Melvan with the two of them never really expecting to inherit anything. Marvyn married a smallfolk woman, Ashlanna, from Kayce, whom he had three children, two sons Fennton, Eddyn and a daughter, Laudyne. While Melvan went off into the world as an unmarried Bard. When Mordred died suddenly, there were a few months of talk amongst House Grebel before it was decided that Marvyn should be the next Lord, especially since he was the eldest male that was the closest relative to Mordred. Marvyn struggled with the responsibilities that came with being a Lord and accidentally soured some of the alliances and friendships House Grebel had amongst the Nobility, to try and rectify this Marvyn sent his sons off to travel and learn how to be Lords, while their uncle accompanied them, teaching the two boys how to be musicians during their travels. Marvyn would eventually become close with another house over in the Reach known as House Teg, whom he had Fennton and Laudyne marry members of, while Eddyn married a member of House Holland. Marvyn lived till his 60s until he passed away in his sleep.
Fennton was born in Grebeside a few years after his father unexpectedly became Lord Grebel. His father was always quite busy with his responsibilities, and so Fennton and his siblings grew close with their uncle Melvan, who taught them music. Once Fennton and his brother were old enough their father sent them on trips to places such as Dun Fort, Old Town and even Kings Landing so they could learn how the court worked, as well as delivering favours and gifts to make up for their fathers early years as a Lord. As Fennton reached adulthood, his father began forming a friendship with House Teg, which led to his marriage to one Lady Primrose Teg. The two of them had three children, Bellara, Breckett and Ewely. Eddyn allowed his children to choose who'd they like to learn a trade from, which allowed him to focus on managing the house and fixing its standing amongst the lords. Eddyn attended many tourneys and events with his wife and children to continue to repair relations. Among these events, Eddyn attended the Tourney at Ashford. When the Spring sickness arrives, Fennton shuts his family in the keep, having heard the stories of the winter fever from a few generations ago, while some Grebels die if the Spring sickness, Fenntons immediate family survived the plauge. Fennton would end up living a few more years before passing during a fall while helping with the deconstruction of Whitewalls due to his lack of skill as a mason, however he had offered to help as the head of the House (and to help deflect the idea that the Grebels of Greyside may have been involved in the Second Blackfyre Rebellion, considering whom their leige Lord is).
Breckett grew up in Grebeside alongside his sisters. Breckett learned weapon making from his distant relative Ser Owyn Grebel, who taught him how to forge his own weapons and armour like their ancestor Ser Merlyn did. Breckett became obsessed with becoming a knight as a young boy and convinced Owyn to teach him how to fight as well, to which Owyn eventually relented and would eventually knight him. As he grew up Breckett was also sent off on trips to learn how to one day handle a Lordship, during one of these trips he met Lady Caroll Swann, the two of them conducted a plan to get their families to agree to a marriage between them. Which worked with the two of them having their sons Kendyll and Kennett very soon after they had been married. Breckett was a fine knight, competing in many Tourneys with his father, winning a few jousts, although he only ever won one low level Tourney. When he became Lord, Breckett encouraged many of his family to take up learning how to be knights on top of their crafts/trades, mostly because of the threat of the constant Blackfyre Rebellions and House Grebels history of ending up as collateral damage from Targaryen wars and fighting. Breckett eventually died from a fall during horse training, due to his advanced age.
Kendyll grew up in Grebeside alongside his twin brother. Kendyll was taught Blacksmith/weponmaking by his father. While growing up it was debated which of the boys would become lord after Breckett, the two of them were two halves of the same coin being equal in craftsmanship, fighting and court politics. Kennett devised a plan to win the hand of Gabielle Rosby, to prove that he'd be better suited to be Lord Grebel after his father than Kendyll, however Kendyll learned of this plan and unseated his brother at a Tourney, leading to Kendyll winning Gabielles hand, they had two sons Wyldon and Merryl. Kendyll sent his sons to Squire for House Darklyn, as well as giving them an opportunity to learn court politics. Kendyll over saw House Grebel during the war of the Ninepenny Kings and because of his fathers work, a few Grebel knights joined the fighting including a few distant cousins Ser Gray Grebel, Ser Connwell Grebel, Harelyn Grebel as well as Kendylls own sons. Kendyll would eventually pass in his sleep from the flu (influenced by his old age as well).
Wyldon was born and raised in Grebeside until he was ten, which is when he was sent to Dun Fort to be squired to a knight there, a few years later his younger brother joined him there. When he was old enough to return to Grebeside he took up learning Masonry from a distant relative from Greyside, Ser Clyff. Around this time he was married to Lady Gwynda Pyle, however Gwynda would pass early into their marriage with a stillborn son. Clyff would take Wyldon to do some commissions in the Vale for a few years to help take his mind off of his dead wife and son. This led to Wyldon meeting Trysta Waxley, a widow with a young daughter, Wyldon at this point was nearly in his mid 20s and proposed that the two of them should marry. They would eventually and had two sons Broyd and Marvyn. Wyldon was the lord when the defiance of Duskendale took place, having grown up as friends of many Darklyns, Wyldon visited Duskendale. However the situation turned ugly and Wyldon was killed in a scuffle with a member of House Holland.
Broyd was born and raised in Grebeside, he was raised as a Masons apprentice by his father while his younger brother Marvyn thought of himself as a knight and wanted to learn how to make swords instead. Broyd became very busy learning how to be a Lord and being sent on trips to the Reach to continue House Grebels long friendship with House Teg, while there he wasn't able to reign his brother in, who took up bullying their younger cousin Merton. However Broyd was pulled back to Grebeside during the defiance of Duskendale. He decided to pull House Grebels efforts into attacking Duskendale, mostly to avenge his father. Once House Darklyn and House Holland were disposed, Broyd set about securing his houses relationship with their new overlord House Rykker, he betrothed his cousin Lady Meralith Grebel to Renfred Rykker. Broyd himself eventually married Lady Giana Beesbury, a childhood friend from the Reach. The two of them had three children, Wyl, Rosemery and Mervyn. Around the time of the great Tourney of Harrenhall, Broyd attended with his family and his brother whom was among those that participated, although his brother lost and became very angry, his anger eventually exploded and he got into a fight with another knight in tavern, leading to Marvyn killing the knight and getting sent North to the Wall. Eventually when Roberts Rebellion happened, Broyd laid low with his immediate family, however some still set about making weapons and armour secretly for either side. Once the Rebellion was over Broyd remained lord of Grebel to the current day
As promised! My first spotlight post on one of the many non-Lord/Lord adjacent characters from House Grebel, starting off with one of my favourites, Kelvyn (the 2nd) Grebel (146 AC - 215 AC)
Kelvyn was the youngest son of Ser Delmar Grebel and Lady Sofina Holland, Kelvyn spent his childhood being taught Blacksmith work by his distand cousin Ser Osvald. Ser Delmar's mother was Lady Mery Grebel, who had spent time around grander courts and imparted that knowledge onto her sons. This led to Delmar wanting to reach above his station. While Kelvyn and his siblings knew they would not inherit much due to being on the further edges of the family tree, this did not stop their fathers scheming as he pushed his eldest son Edryc into marrying their second cousin to get him in line to running Greyside, then Delmar proposed a Lanister marriage for his eldest daughter Alma, who ran away to Oldtown to become a septa which meant that the marriage fell to Ethyl, who married a distant Lannister cousin.
Kelvyn ran away too. He stole one of his family's wheelhouses, which he then spent a year transforming into a portable workshop and forge with money he earned from blacksmith work. This portable workshop earned him the nickname of Wheelforge. Kelvyn often travelled wherever there was work, often bumping into other Grebel relatives at events or when they were working on commissions. Kelvyn came into a good lot of work around 209 AC when Lyonel Baratheon had started knocking off the crests on nobles helms, which led to Kelvyn getting a good deal of money for to repair. Kelvyn lived a long time, settling down in Greyside as an old man, where his wheelforge stayed, which he used to teach his brothers grandchildren as well as other Grebel children. The Wheelforge continued to be maintained but was never taken out again after Kelvyns death.
Since Kelvyn would've been alive and realistically could've been at the Ashford Tourney, I also found a face claim for him, which, after much deliberation and scrolling through IMDB, I landed on Gerad McSorley.
House Grebel Spotlight! (A thing I'm going to start doing)
Hey y'all I've been a bit busy with Uni assignments and stuff so I've been struggling trying to tie up all the events with the second part of the Lords of House Grebel so instead I'm putting together some small posts with members of House Grebel who are far from the main branch of the tree but are in the right place/have interesting things happen in their lives! Without having to worry about y'know running a house and dealing with the bs of the Iron Throne. Bs, which makes me put my head in my hands whenever I remember that it would probably affect my characters who literally live across the bay from the Targaryens main house and second house. (Thank goodness none of them live near Summerhall, haha...)
Anyway! Expect something, maybe tmmrw or tonight, once I finish writing about film stuff and if I have leftover energy!
The first of two big posts with summeries of all the Lord Grebels (and two women who were in charge for a few years). I've split it up because theres like 18 of these guys. This one is essentially from pre-Aegons conquest to the events of the Dance of the Dragons.
Introduction to House Grebel
Lord Connway Grebel
90 BC - 18 BC
The founder of the House, Connway, was born in the Village of Stoney Sept in the Riverlands and grew up as a Masons apprentice to his father. Before eventually making his way to the Vale of Arryn for work, where he met and married his wife, Gwendys of Gulltown, a seamstress. The two had a son, Dyllan, and a daughter Maryna. Eventually they moved again to find work in Duskendale, while there Connway caught the attention of the Lord Darklyn who took Connway on as a mason, then eventually was made a Steward, after Connway had proved his talent and skills for managing projects. Eventually after twenty years of hard work, he was given a patch of land leading to Connway becoming a very minor Lord, with a small keep that he personally oversaw the building of, naming it Gwendys Rest. Connway continued to serve House Darklyn for the last six years of his life before passing away after having a fall while personally building part of Gwendys Rest.
Dyllan was born in Gulltown and taught masonry by his father until they eventually moved to Duskendale, while living and working in Duskendale Dyllan met his wife Suesanna, a blacksmith to her father, since she was his only child. The two had three children Linnford, Linnwood, and Laynne. Dyllan worked under his father as another Mason for House Darklyn and once Connway was elevated to Lord, Dyllan took his future very seriously, learning how to manage estates and learning how to look after the patch of land they had been given. When Dyllan eventually became Lord, he continued to take his responsibilities incredibly seriously. During Aegons first conquest Dyllan was apart of the march against Aegon and Orys, volunteering his sword and then making a deal that the rest of his family would provide weapons and armour instead of fighting alongside of them, Dyllan wanted to make this deal due to the fact they'd most likely be going against atleast one dragon if not multiple. During the battle, Dyllan was burnt to death by dragon fire.
Linnford was born in Duskendale and grew up learning blacksmithery from his mother rather than masonry work like his younger brother and sister. Linnford met and married a lace maker, Aline, from Rosby. When the two were quite young. They had three children together, Wilbyrn, Roscelyne, and Merlyn. Linnford threw himself into his work as a blacksmith after the death of his father during Aegons conquest, becoming obsessed with creating armour that could combat dragon fire, while he never managed to achieve this goal, the armour he created was always seen as incredibly strong and useful, with his techniques and skills being passed on for many generations. Linnford eventually passed away in his sleep from a fever.
Wilbyrn was born in Duskendale but was raised on the land that eventually became Gwendys Rest/Grebeside. He grew up learning blacksmithery from his father and grandmother, but he also grew up knowing that he would inherit a Lordship and title one day, he took on this future role with stride, taking the time to travel to Dun Fort as well as Hollard Castle, making connections and friendships with his future overlord and vassal. During one of these visits, he met Clara, an embroider from Duskendale. The two married and had twin daughters Vayley and Victorya, as well as a son Vycker. Wilbyrn brought his children on his visits when they were old enough and taught them all to be blacksmiths, especially his son, since he would inherit the Lordship after him. However, while teaching Vycker a technique in blacksmithery, Vycker slipped and badly burnt himself, leading to him passing from his injuries. Wilbyrn was heartbroken by this but tried to stay strong for his daughters and his grandson Connway, although after the death of Vycker, Wilbyrn never entered his workshop again, choosing to simply oversee the rest of his house and his land. Eventually, he passed away in his sleep.
Vayley was born and raised in Grebeside Keep. She was raised as a blacksmith by her father with a partial education in lace making. Both her and her siblings were taught to be smart and efficient. With Vayley travelling with her sister to find blacksmith work across the different kingdoms. eventually, Vayley married a knight known as Ser Waylar of Saltpans, whom she would create armour and weapons for. Vayley would welcome her son Connway into the world a month before the death of her little brother Vycker. A while after she would have a second son, Parsifal. Vayley would take on teaching her sons how to do blacksmith work, while her father took Connway travelling to their overlords as well as to Aegonfort. When Vayleys father passed she took on the role of head of the House for a few years until her son was old enough to take over, Vayley eventually passed in her sleep on the same night as her twin sister.
Connway was born and raised in Grebeside Keep just as his mother was. He grew up learning blacksmith work from his mother and then Lordship knowledge from his grandfather until his grandfathers death when he was 15. After his grandfather passed away, Connway continued his own travels. He struck up business deals with House Blount, leading to him getting himself a betrothal to Lord Blount's daughter Gillis Blount. Whom he eventually married when he was able to claim his Lordship, the two had two sons, Marlow and Marvyn, with Marvyn eventually being sent to Oldtown to become a Maester. Connway encouraged his brother to marry into a house as well, but his brother disregarded his brothers wants, instead deciding to marry a smallfolk woman who worked as a minstrel. This caused a divide between the brothers, but as the brothers drifted apart, Connway got wrapped up in his duties and taught his son Marlow how to be a good Lord. When the construction of the Red Keep reached him, Connway reached out to offer his house's services as Masons for the project, sending his second cousins Radclyff and Cenric Grebel to help, however both ended up being murdered by Maegor at the end of the project, which shook the house for many years, with the Grebels choosing to distance themselves from the Targaryens atleast until Maegor was off the throne. Connway himself eventually passed away in his sleep.
Marlow was born and raised in Grebeside, he was taught how to blacksmith work by his father, however once he reached adulthood he took up learning Masonry aswell, since he believed his house was loosing its masons roots. Marlow was betrothed to Lady Jeynna Waxley by his father, who wanted to continue securing House Grebels standing, with the two having a son Eddyn and a daughter Roscelyne. Marlow was less strict, and Lordship minded compared to his father, focused more on craftsmanship than his father would've hoped. Over his life, he attended many Tourneys, encouraging other Grebels to also attend them and form business connections with the other houses or promote their craftsmanship there, this slightly improved their standing amongst the other minor houses. Although when Marlow did focus on his Lordly duties he betrothed Eddyn to a Lady from House Fell and made plans for his daughter to be betrothed as well, but Roscelyne made a plea to marry a knight from the Reach which eventually after many months he relented on, allowing his daughter to marry whom she wanted. Marlow would eventually pass away from a fall he suffered during some repairs on Grebeside Keep.
Eddyn was born in Grebeside Keep and taught masonry work by his father and Dannel Grebel, a distant cousin. Eddyns father betrothed him to the Lady Meralith Fell, the two married when they came of age, they then had a son Gale and a daughter Enid. Eddyn kept up his fathers wishes to continue promoting the craftsmanship of House Grebel. This would lead to a proposal by Lady Cargyll, where she offered for Eddyns daughter as well as another Grebel girl, Mery. to become her wards, the two girls were taken to be raised in House Cargyll's keep as well as visits to Kings Landing. Around the time Eddyn became Lord of House Grebel he was invited along to the great council of 101 AC, however his vote was never revealed, as he chose to keep it secret as to not damage any relationships with the other houses. When the dance of the dragons happened, he followed House Darklyns' lead and supported the blacks. When Duskendale got sacked, he fled with his family to Greykeep in the Riverlands. However, his good brother, nephew, and a cousin died in the escape, due to them staying behind to defend the keep. The family only returned to their Keep in 131 AC (nearly three years after they left). But two years after returning, Eddyn succumbed to Winter fever.
Gale Grebel was born and raised in Grebeside, he learnt masonry from his father and Squired for his distant cousin Ser Dene 'Young Steelbones' as a young boy, Ser Dene bought a young Gale to a good few Tourneys, however Ser Dene never won. Once Gale had grown up he went about completing stone work commissions, during a commission for House Byrch, Lord Eddyn made a suggestion for Gale to be engaged to one of the Lords daughters, which Lord Byrch agreed to. The two would then go on to be wed when of age and had four children, Geraint, Sabrine, Raffety and Dorathya, Gale tried to ensure all his children had good marriages, bethrothing his eldest son Raffety to Anica Wendwater, his eldest daughter Sabrine was betrothed off into house Appleton and his youngest daughter to House Dargood, however his youngest son Geraint, ran off and married a seamstress from White Harbour, although Gale would invite his son and his good daughter back into Grebeside after their marriage, begrudgingly accepting the marriage. During the Dance of the Dragons, Gale opted to stay back to defend against Grebeside being sacked, but his cousin Dene pushed for him to leave, which led to Gale surviving, however Dene was among those that died. When Gale and his family returned to Grebeside, he took over charge of the repairs for the keep. Unfortunately, after the death of his father, Gale would contract Winter Fever, and he'd end up passing away a few months after his father.

Currently there's about 253 of them in the family tree, but that number tends to fluctuate whenever I go in and fix stuff to align better with canon stuff in universe (like big battles or diseases that ripped through the Kingdoms yada yada ect ect)
