Pharamacy Calls Out Hypocritical Competition
Recently Rexall Pharmacies launched a new ad (which can be watched here in the top right corner of this site).
In the ad you will see a man suffering from some kind of allergies or illness enter a pharmacy in need of assistance. He is greeted by woman working at the pharmacy who tells him how he will "never attract the ladies with those puffy eyes." She ignores how he feels and shows no interest improving his condition. Instead she attempts to make him look better by handing him new sunglasses which she later tells him are really not going to help with his image.
What is most surprising here is that you have one chain calling out the rest of the industry for focusing on something other than helping people to feel better. Something just might be wrong when one pharmacy feels it can differentiate from the rest of the industry by simply focusing on your health and well being.
I cannot comment on whether or not Rexall truly does a better job at focusing on how you feel versus their competition. However, if there is any truth to the suggestion they are making, you have to wonder what were they and all the other pharmacies have been aiming to accomplish until now?
